My character space is limited as I can go on for centuries about this beautiful family owned hotel tucked in the MIDDLE of all the action, beauty, madness, bustling life that Istanbul has to offer. The location is perfect! The infamous Blue Mosque & Sofia Hagia, the cisterns, the castle, the monuments are all 15 mins waking distance and takes you through the labyrinth of the city. The hotel rooms are impeccable with little terraces overlooking the Turkish neighborhood with views of the sea and mosque - stunning doesn’t even capture the beauty. But ABOVE ALL of this, it’s the SERVICE! I’ve travelled the world and have never been treated like this before. They arranged EVERYTHING. From taxis, to ice, to laundry, to restaurants. Never mind the surprise gifts like welcome orange juice and water, the fruit baskets and wine waiting in your room. We had to leave early one morning to catch a flight, they arranged to have breakfast opened earlier for us so we can eat. For our early flight back home, they had packed sandwiches, orange juice and water waiting for us to take to the airport! Which hotel you’ve stayed at does that!? We we wowing the whole trip. The staff are world class! Shoutout to Ali for arranging the trip at the beginning. We decided last minute to make alternate plans and he accommodated us with no issues but kindness and efficiency. Our highest praises go to the champion of this operation, Jakub, who took care of us from our welcome to end. We wanted to put him in our bags and take him home with us! what a kind, decent and impressive young man. So efficient and amazing. We owe all our thanks to him, and his team of bellboys (Hassan notably) and others). Do not waste your time doing research - this is the hotel you need to stay at! 1010 out of 10!!

Everything went awesome. The hotel service and time stayed ended up being way better that what we could even imagine. The personal was great, always trying to make the best of our experience in Istanbul,and had so many treats with us i cant even count. The location was outstanding for what we wanted, a calmed but with life street at just 10 minutes máximum walking from the principal atractions of the city. Rooms were always really clean, and anything we needed was given by the hotel staff to us. Also wanted to talk about the breakfast, which was not only delicious, but also included lots of different types of food. Highly recommend. Wanted to do also a special mention to the personal of the hotel. Is one of the best things we take from our stay in Istanbul, how they treated us, how they managed to make every day our experience even better, and the most important thing, how they treated us like a family. Would definitely come back in the future to Istanbul, and the only thing I know for sure is that I will be staying again at Sultan Süleyman Palace Hotel & Spa. Thanks for making the best of our stay again!

the hotel was a very good location, the grand bazaar, Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque were a walking distance. restaurants and shops close by too. the Turkish Hamam provided by the hotel was the best we have had in turkey. Roberto, irfan, masum and beysel were very accommodating and friendly. Great service and great banter.

as we had a wheelchair we had to run to get out of the way of the traffic as people in cars would not want to wait, the street can get busy with the traffic, however the hotel staff were always available to help get out from the taxi into the hotel

Breakfast extraordinary, with many choices of vegetables, fruits (including dried fruits & nuts), yogurt/dairy products, eggs of all types. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and polite and not at all bothered by us being a noisy group (11 persons). Rooftop terrace has extraordinary views of the city & the sea, too bad it was not maintained/open at the time of our stay. Location is very good, walking distance to all major sightseeing objectives.

we stayed in a family room and felt a bit small, despite being the largest available (probably because of the big beds) - we weren’t bothered much as we did not stay too much in the room, there are too many nearby attractions.

Excellent hotel, staff and services! 10+++++. Very friendly and highly supportive staff in the hotel: reception desk team and top manager. The hotel is beautifully designed. Our room was kindly upgraded without an extra price. At the reception we received water and tea, while waiting for the baggage delivered to the room. We also received a welcome bottle of red wine and a plate with fruits. The room 601 was perfectly clean, comfortable and had a balcony with a sea view. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and big. Also one more important thing: Sultan Suleyman Palace Hotel and SPA, located in a perfect historical location, near the St.Sophia church/ Blue Mosque and walking distance to the Bosphorus Strait cost. The last amazing thing was, the hotel staff helped us to solve the problem with car parking. We arrived at the hotel in our personal car and had no idea where to park it. The reception team organised parking for the car just behind the hotel. The car was secured and the price for overnight parking was very reasonable. I can highly recommend this hotel to everyone and definitely will visit it again.

The staff was incredibly kind and corteous! My mom has some physical disabilities and they helped her a lot by helping her up and down the stairs etc. The closeness to the sea was also great and the rooms + bathrooms were very clean! We are Turkish and my mom speaks it perfectly while I don‘t but the staff was still able to understand my broken Turkish, which relieved me, so there were no communication issues at all

I think the only thing that I underestimated was the fact how small the streets are and that driving to the hotel was quite impossible. So we had to park quite a bit away. For me it was not that much of a problem but since my mom has a disability in her leg, it was quite the challange for her to reach some destinations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel in Istanbul and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff's kindness and hospitality truly stood out as the best asset of this establishment. The hotel's location is superb, offering easy access to various attractions, although it's situated downhill and the surrounding area might not be as picturesque as other parts of the city. While I didn't have high expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the accommodations. The room, although slightly smaller than depicted in the photos, was cozy and well-maintained.

However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The air conditioning in the room seemed a bit outdated and emitted an unpleasant odor. This was a bit disappointing, as it impacted the overall comfort of the stay. Without AC room gets quite hot and unbearable to stay in.

Almost everything was perfect for us honestly. We stayed there for a week and would definitely return back in the future! Staff went above and beyond, and were there for every question we had. They gave us stellar service and recommendations. (I'd think carefully before you book excursions though to make sure that it is worth it for your group, and don't be afraid to shop around.) We also met management, and they were such sweet people and great conversationalists as well. The rooms are comfortable. We slept like babies every night. The location is about 5 minutes of a walk away from Sultanahmet, which is good. There are many shops and restaurants around, and most main attractions are either walking distance or accessible by public transit. Breakfast was extensive but got repetitive after some time. Either way, it's a nice spread and adds great value to the stay. WiFi also wasn't a problem.

The rooms tend to come off a little bigger in photos, so I’d say to aim for something bigger than what you think you'll need. It was 2 adults in the room, but we had a lot of luggage, which made the standard room feel too small at times. We made it work though, and the hotel was gracious enough to give us a free upgrade for a few nights. The reviews about the sink being small is very accurate though. I think that's a building design issue though. If they make the sink bigger, you wouldn't be able to open and close the bathroom door.

We really appreciated the hospitality of the place. All the staff members were super friendly and helpful and whatever we requested was accommodated. The included breakfast in the restaurant across the street was huge, We liked the freshly made omelet as well as the honey with Turkish cream a lot. One other major advantage was the location, only a couple of minutes by foot away from the major attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace or the bazaar (although we were not a big fan of that). Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

It is a small boutique hotel. If you are into this, like we are, you will like it. If you prefer the comfort of a big business hotel you will be disappointed. The hotel is on a typical side street, which is not the poshest place to be, but it is how the city looks like and has its own flair.

Breakfast was excellent - wide choice of local & traditional foods. Staff were extremely helpful - special thanks to Yacup and also to Ali, Zumrijt, Erran, Rana and Sijreyya ( hope I have spelt names correctly ). I used the hamam and really enjoyed the experience and the staff also organised our day trips. The rooms are beautifully decorated and we were given fresh fruit and ice cream on arrival. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Having to walk across the busy road for breakfast, although this did add to the experience !!! Would have preferred more English-speaking channels on TV and the wi-fi signal wasn't very strong.
