There's should have phone charging in rooms. instead of going down to the charging station it's inconvenient for seniors like me.

Staff were very friendly and accomidating.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by David at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure our check-in process was smooth and efficient. His friendliness and attention to detail truly set the tone for our stay. Our room on the 24th floor was nothing short of spectacular. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and featured an incredible view that took our breath away every morning. The housekeeping service was top-notch, ensuring the room remained spotless throughout our stay and that all amenities were perfectly replenished. The hotel’s location is also a major highlight – it’s perfectly situated close to the beach, restaurants, and other attractions, making it an ideal spot for anyone exploring the Gold Coast. The only minor downside was the breakfast organization. While the variety of food was good, the experience felt slightly chaotic, likely due to the crowd. However, I understand this might have been because of the busy season. It didn’t take away from the overall excellent experience we had. The exceptional service, cleanliness, and unbeatable location of Crowne Plaza make it a standout choice, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the Gold Coast. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great location, so easy to jump on the tram and explore. The kids LOVED the pool. Although the hotel was very busy, we never had to wait for the buffet breakfast.

The rooms were a bit noisy. We could hear the people next door and out in the hall very clearly and could constantly hear the plumbing when toilet was flushed or water was draining from shower or taps all around us. House keeping did a great job at keeping the rooms clean however they are a little outdated. USB points for phones didnt work, grouting/sealing around showers looks mouldy. Door handle to bathoom kept getting stuck.

We loved the pool area, loved that we could order food and drinks from our table. Loved the located, straight across the road from a tram service. Staff were really friendly and our rooms were regularly cleaned. Food prices were reasonable for lunch and dinner. Happy hour cocktails 5pm -6pm.

The price for breakfast is too expensive. $38pp or $33pp if you pay for the whole duration of the stay. We only needed breakfast for two days, it was not worth the price. Save your money and go to a cafe. The hallways and rooms weren’t sound proof, we could hear everything from outside to in. Some families were very inconsiderate and were running, yelling slamming doors at 11pm at night. The hotel should put up quiet time signs in the hallways.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Junior ocean view suite was spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast in the morning was great and had a lot of selection. We also had dinner at the hotel and room service several times and each time the food was delicious and reasonable priced. Staff were very friendly and took the time to help, had an issue with our TV on the first day, they tried very hard to fix it on that day but couldn't but had it sorted out the next day. Rooms were also cleaned promptly everyday, better than alot of other hotels where I have had to ring house keeping to clean the room. Pool and other amenities were also very good. The hotel is also walking distance to the beach.

It was sometime very hard to get anyone when you rang from your room phone, it would often ring and ring with no answer. But that was a very minor inconvenience.

Loved the upgraded room. The staff were great, we went for hubbys bday and they organised a little surprise for him delivered to our room. The breakfast had great variety. The games room was a good addition and the elevator was quick to get up to our floor. Was good to have the tram station right out the front too.

Our bathroom had a sewerage like smell to it. We were only there for 2 nights and spent most our time outside of the room, on the balcony or in the pool so we just put up with it. The pool was great but it was a shame that there was no shallow part for the little ones to play in.

Easy access,modern (renovated) rooms.Value for money.

Breakfast Buffet,usually excellent was disappointing. Seated during the busiest time,between 0830 & 0930 am,but this shouldn’t have been a surprise to the kitchen. Most of the hot dishes ran out,(a 25 minute wait for scrambled eggs bain marie to be refilled),staff were unaware of the demand,and slow to respond even after being advised by guests. Egg station chef was possibly new,but was VERY slow,especially as many of the hot dishes were empty, so probably under a bit of pressure. A shame,as usually this buffet breakfast is one of the better ones.

Check-in: Janine assisted us on check-in, and she was great - professional and very friendly. Room: The room and bathroom were very clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We had a great view of the beach from the 18th floor. Julia and Akiko, who attended to our room each day, left us a lovely note on the first day to wish us a happy stay and to ensure we let the housekeeping team know should we need anything at all. Restaurant: We had breakfast each day in the restaurant. The food was very good, with a large selection available. Food was also cooked on request, which was done quickly and with a smile. Mauro, who ushered us into the restaurant a few times, did so with a welcoming smile, was attentive, professional and a pleasure to interact with. My wife and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Honestly, there was nothing that was negative about the time spent at Crowne Plaza. All of the staff we dealt with were great and had no hesitation in assisting us when needed. The facilities - both within the room and throughout the hotel - were exceptionally clean and properly looked after.
