The room was fine. The hotel offered parking in an underground parking (9 Euros per day). The parking garage was secure and only card holder has access. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Hotel restaurant. The meals were buffet style. The price was high for lunch and dinner, for the variety of food. The breakfast was a good value. you could have eggs cooked to your liking or an omelet with, ham, cheese, peppers etc. Juices, coffees, yogurts, cereal etc. The hotel had a nice outdoor pool on the first floor. You needed to use your room towels if you did not have a beach towel. The purpose of our stay was to access Gibraltar without actually staying on Gibraltar. Gibraltar access was a 10-15 minute walk to Gibraltar's passport control. We took the No. 10 bus to the cable car access point. We purchased our tickets at the attraction. We arrived at 9:45AM, no wait. The cable car to the top is a 4-6 minute ride to the top.

After visiting Gibraltar, we returned to the hotel to use the pool, outside temperature high 77 - 85 deg Fahrenheit. One of the guests said that the pool would be closed beginning October 2nd. We were checking out on Oct. 2nd so it would not affect us. But if we were not leaving, I would have been upset.

We recently stayed at this hotel during our visit to Gibraltar and found it to be a great value for money. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Parking at €9 was a bonus, providing convenient access to the city. Breakfast was very good, offering a nice selection to start the day. However, the room felt a bit dated and could use some updates. Additionally, the staff were not the friendliest, which was a slight drawback. Overall, despite these minor issues, I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an affordable and well-located option in Gibraltar.

Clean and tidy hotel with everything I needed. Staff were very polite and helpful. Pool although small wasn't very busy so was adequate. Food from both the buffet and the bar was well cooked, something I would normally be critical of but not here. Room although slightly dated was of a standard size and as expected cleaned daily with fresh towels daily.

There seems to be locals using the pool and sun loungers. Although there were signs around the bar in an attempt to prevent this, nobody was monitoring this. Bit annoying that I as expected paid for these facilities and locals were freely using the facilities free of charge. I would be extremely annoyed if the pool and pool area was busy and found that these free loaders were using an area paid for by guests

Fantastic room with large terrace with awesome views to the bay and the strait of Gibraltar. Small fridge available in the room, with water, tea and coffee provided in the large "living room" area of the room. Great size of beds with comfy mattresses, quiet rooms for a good night sleep. Kind, helpful and polite staff. At a stone's throw of the city centre and La Linea coach station. Local amenities nearby and very close to the border to Gibraltar. We had our flight cancelled at Gibraltar airport due to severe weather both at Gibraltar and back home in the UK, booked on my mobile phone whilst waiting to collect our luggage very late as a result of the cancellation and the staff were very kind to accommodate us despite making an error in the number of people to book (just booked 2 adults but it was my wife, myself and our young kids). They provided a detailed invoice for us to be able to claim back from the airline and kept our luggage safe for a few hours whilst we waited for a bus to travel to other city in order to get to another airport for an alternative flight. Very thankful for all the staff during our 1 night stay.

Based on our experience, nothing to fault. I can definitely recommend this hotel for families such as ours (2 adults and 2 kids).

Me and my family stayed here end of may into June 2024 for my best friend's wedding and sadly she took I'll in the night and passed away the day before the ceremony, The staff and this hotel went above and beyond to help and make everyone in the wedding party/Family comfortable as we were all in extreme shock. They handled each one of us with kindness respect and a generosity that was at their discretion and we thank you so so much for everything you were fantastic. We will certainly return for a memorial next year and will 100% rebook here and highly recommend it to others in the future. Thank you once again.

Staff fluent in English. Staff was welcoming and pleasant. They provided helpful tips for walking to Gibralter/Spain border. Also, they directed us to nearby grocery stores and restaurants. Large balcony/patio outside room. Harbor view. Garage parking for 9euros was reasonably priced, secure, and convenient.

It sounds petty, but the trash can in the bathroom had a step-to-open lid that didn't work. It was annoying to manually lift that lid every time we wanted to discard a tissue, soap wrapper, etc. Also, the tile floors in the hallway of the second floor were wet and slippery. It wasn't because of a cleaning process, but some sort of leak. Appropriate signs warned of the danger, but the problem didn't seem to receive proper attention during the 24 hours we were there.

The visit in Ohtels exceeded my expectations - and I would gladly visit again in the future. Conveniently located, short walk from the bus station and with the border in sight, it is a perfect base for exploring the area. Hotel staff was attentive and polite, always available at the reception desk. From my point of view, the room didn't lack a single thing - spacious and more than well furnished, with lots of storage space and king size bed, it made me feel really comfortable after days of travel. Sitting on a room terrace overlooking the Rock is a memory to keep for a long time. The breakfast was tasty and diverse, with lots of fresh food and drinks to choose from. A particularly nice surprise were scrambled eggs, fried on the fly with additions of your choice.

Remembering the previous day's feast, I was a bit disappointed with breakfast to go - consisting of convencience store sandwiches, some basic snacks and a bottle of water. I wish the promising, handy box could hold more appetizing meal. I guess all that remains is to adjust your schedule so as not to miss a meal in a hotel restaurant.

I travel to this hotel at least twice a year as a lone female traveller. I stay here because the staff are friendly, the cleanliness and cleaners are helpful, friendly and my room is always super clean. You have a very good cleaning staff. I feel safe and relaxed, which is very important as a female travelling alone. Breakfast is at a good quality and has a good variety. The location is perfect for what I need, and the price is reasonable. The facilities are good and the bar staff are efficient and friendly. The front of house staff are welcoming and helpful.

Unfortunately, this time, the pool area wasn't very clean. There was black stuff in the corners around the pool area. I also noticed the kitchen staff who cooked the eggs were missing at points, and one day, I couldn't get an omelette as there was no one around for several minutes. Once, I sat down with a different choice of breakfast (which was tasty and I enjoyed). The chef came back out to serve. Also, the juice jugs looked sticky and slightly unclean due to the chef just tipping the remains of one fresh orange juice jug into another. I think they should regularly put fresh, clean jugs out this will stop the juice from congealing around the tops of the jugs.

This a very useful hotel being within easy walk of Gibraltar. The breakfast is very good, the quality of all the ingredients are very high. The fresh orange juice is lovely and free. We were upgraded to the 7th floor where we had a suite with views and space. The carpark is fairly well used and safe, the price might vary depending on the season. the swimming pool was closed due to government restriction so could not be used.

when you call the lift when busy you cannot see if it is going up or down, so you might yoyo a bit. There is very little wrong with this hotel.

Excellent location especially for travelling across to Gibraltar . Very friendly staff and efficient check in and out. Great underground parking too. We had dinner in the restaurant and the staff set up our table for 12 and organised drinks for us. Very friendly and efficient.

Needs a bit of a face lift. Maybe new towels and a lick of paint. The headboards were very basic. Not the end of the world but may need some work to maintain 4 star standards.
