Location, less than 10 minutes via shuttle from the airport. Large comfortable room. Great shower and water pressure. Swimming pool available. Great selection of foods at the buffet breakfast.

Poor wifi connection in the room. Room was not sound proof. I could hear conversations in the hallway and lots of noise from other rooms.

Cleanliness, structure and location

The shuttle service from the airport stopped at 22.30, which seems very early considering the traffic of passenger in the summer months.. should run until midnight in high season

Our room was nice, good size, seemed to have been recently refurbished, the bed was excellent. Helpful staff, good breakfast comfortable room. Location to the airport was excellent and the shuttle service was great. Also, there was a grocery store and pharmacy nearby as well as a barber, a few shops and restaurants. The people working in the hotel restaurant were excellent.

The drapes in our room did not work at all, quite difficult to slide back and forth and staff could not fix them. Only one of the four treadmills in the gym worked and staff could not fix them. There were other less important things around the place that were in need of repair.

I love that everyone spoke English. Yes, I could have spoken Italian, and I did a few times, but this was great. I loved the bed and the shower. I loved the breakfast. I loved the porter helping with my bags - he came out to the car to help. I loved how everyone - everyone - was helpful.

My toilet had a dirty line around the top of the bowl. If the cleaners use a bleach-based cleaner in the toilet under the rim, it will clean it straight away. They won't even need to scrub it. When you stand near the bathroom door, you can see it. Also, the cleaners need to check the shower liquid. You offer liquid soap in the shower, mine was empty.

Had early flight out of FCO to US and needed to stay nearby overnight, Mercure offered easy airport pickup via van as well as drop off in the morning. Staff friendly, explained everything we needed to know upon checkin, check out gal in the am very pleasant. Clean, nicely newly remodeled room.

We were put in a room that overlooked the big garbage bins and laundry truck facilities, meaning, around 11pm workers were outside loudly transporting tall carts of dirty laundry up a platform into a truck. Went on for at least half an hour. And of course there was airplane noise to be expected. Then a few rooms down there were dogs barking. No fault of the hotel but annoying. I would still stay there again only request a room that does not overlook the area where the night workings of the hotel occur.

It was a very nice place actually beautiful there were only two things that I gave it a lower rating for when we went downstairs to have something to eat it was close to 5:00 and they said that their restaurant didn't open till 7:30 we thought that was kind of late so we had to have bar food and our bed was rock hard other than that the place was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very kind even helped us carry our very heavy luggage upstairs

I already stated it above sorry the lateness of the restaurant opening did not open till 7:30 in our bed was rock hard they were very accommodating they said our room would not be open for an hour and when I approached the desk to ask if our room was ready they said it was not that the people had actually just checked out so they put us in a room that had just been refurbished and told us that all the mini bar items were complimentary

location was very good as we just needed something close to the airport - we had a very early flight out of Rome. We had been on vacation for a month, and the shower was the best that we had in any of the hotels we stayed in.

the restaurant did not open until 730om, but we were told the bar was open, and there was a food menu there. We went in and the bar was packed, only one person serving and it took at least 20 minutes to get a glass of wine. The dinner, lasagne, finally came and it was cold. We took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, which was packed full, my husband had to stand. We were charged 6 Euros each for the shuttle, which was the advertised price. As we had to leave the hotel at 3am for our flight to Paris, and the shuttle only runs till 10pm,we were forced to take a taxi. We ordered the taxi when we checked in, and it arrived on time. The driver charged us 35 Euros - seems way too expensive, but as it was the only way we could get to the airport, we had to pay it....not impressed!

Everything was great for a 1 night stopover before flying out of Rome. Many options for food and drink within a 10 minute walk. I had the new renovated room. Clean rooms, bathroom, great shower and water pressure, amenities, smooth check in and check out. Shuttle service is great. Would recommend!

The room could do with more power outlets. There were none at the bedside unless you disconnect the floor lamp. These were also not travel/international multiplug format, which I feel should be a no brainer given the nature of the hotel as an airport stopover property

Staff was helpful. Restaurant was very good. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Room is somewhat dated. Could use new towels.

The proximity to the airport and the shuttle service were the primary draws to the property. We arrived late at night and found the shuttle pick up point fairly easily, thanks to clear instructions. Food service was closing by the time we got there, but we were able to get a late night snack and a drink in the bar. Reservations were made at check in for shuttle service to the airport the next morning and it was a worry-free experience. All staff were friendly and helpful. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, but after a call to reception, one was delivered to the door almost immediately.

The Wi-Fi was poor. It was difficult to log in; we had to go to sleep without any internet connection, and were unable to check our email that night. The next morning there was a connection, but the speed was very slow.
