We followed the link on our booking which led us to the wrong door. We then found the hotel reception, which was difficult with not much internet to guide us on maps. We were taken to our apartment, which was perfect, but at the end of a darkish alley with little signage. We went out for dinner and a walk and couldn’t find our way back with maps, so we had to find our way back to the hotel again. We were given a hard copy map and found our own way back to our apartment along dark alleyways. We actually thought we were staying at the Hotel and didn’t mind staying in a different location but it wasn’t made clear on our booking and it was very hard to find.

Better signage at the apartment and make it clear when booking, that it is not located at the main hotel. Ensure the location address link on your hotel webpage is correct

The location is perfect- in the center but a quite street with noises (almost impossible for Venice) Our room was two-story and very spacious

bathrobes and slippers were not provided, breakfast could have been more varied, and the booking website indicated the wrong hotel address, so initially we arrived at the wrong point and spent a long time looking for the right path

Localisation is perfect, close to everything but still quiet. "Palace style" rooms, big and comfy. Hotel staff - professional and nice. Very nice roof tarrace.

Our room had a completely sloping floor, which bothered us a bit - maybe someone will find this information useful. When I got out of bed, I felt like I was on a ship that was tilted to one side. Breakfast - for an Italian standard - ok. Apart from croissants (including delicious croissants with lemon filling) and sweet things, there were also scrambled eggs or sausages, cheese and cold cuts - but for a typical European buffet - not very good, but you have to take that into account - everywhere in Italy, breakfasts are typically sweet in hotels. The coffee was dramatically bad - a big dissapointment here - it was only poured from a jug. Breakfast is in the hall on one of the floors, directly adjacent to the rooms.

Amazing location. The value was incredible for the spaciousness and quality of the bedroom and bathroom. Decor felt very classic Venetian. The staff were incredibly helpful and worked with me to arrange transport when options were busy. Stepping out of the hotel, you’re met with the most beautiful view and the area is very quiet, with a minute or so to gorgeous places to visit. So impressed for this price.

I was on the ground floor and could hear when reception got busy, but it wasn’t much of a bother for me because I only had a short stay for 2 nights.

could be hard to find (like anywhere in Venice) so I recommend dropping a pin on google maps when you’re at the hotel so you can find your way back the first time!

The location was excellent, conveniently tucked away behind the noise of the main square but only a 5 minute walk from main attractions. The staff were very friendly and were quick to sort out any problems we had. The room was typically Venetian and very pretty, there was even gold cord running round the length of the walls. The beds were comfortable.

The air con was not cold at all, we found it so hot in the room in May and opening the windows let mosquitos in so it was very stuffy. The breakfast staff were not very friendly and there was not a huge choice of breakfast food. The bath needed a shower curtain around it to stop the floor getting soaked.

They upgraded us easily and quickly to a beautiful room over looking the canals. The staff were mega helpful and furnishings in the second room fab. Mostly quiet too. Dealt with our requests re tickets and info with humour and speed

The first room had very low ceilings for us tall people and a steep staircase for access. As someone recovering from a nasty knee injury not good for me. Would have liked something in the room to help deal with mosquitoes.

Location, style of room, and staff were all amazing. The reception person was amazing and gave me SO much information and help with what line and times the water taxi went so I could get to where I needed. The porter was also fantastic, and I felt guilty as my case was very heavy, but he moved it in and out of the hotel and to my room without flinching! I did not get breakfast as I woke up late as slept like the dead! It was so comfy and quiet.

The bathroom was lovely and shower and bath were fabulous, but the space was not great. Being 6ft 2in tall, when I sat on the toilet I either had to sit at an angle, or with my legs wide open! Either way was not overly comfortable, and I doubt that a shorter person would have been able to sit "normally " on it either. Also the hairdryer over heats and cuts out, so took me over an hour to dry my hair after it got damp in the shower. But these were my only "issues"

The hotel's location is great, right in the heart of Venice and close to several tourist attractions, as well as restaurants and shops, making everything easy and practical, especially in case you need to return to the hotel before going to the next tourist attraction. The service was incredible, all the staff were very kind and attentive and at all times I really felt respected and very welcome. Breakfast was decent and had everything you need to start the morning off right and as a bonus a little view of the canal through the lounge windows. I cannot forget the room which was very well organized and clean and with an admirable size, in general, everything was impeccable and with a charming decoration and artistic details in the Venetian furniture, I felt in a traditional romantic Venetian room.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were polite and so very helpful. The location was convenient and the price we paid for our stay was very good. The breakfast was continental and very good. The balcony adjacent to our room was an excellent area to chill with a glass of wine or a place to catch more rays!! During our 4 night stay we had fresh towels each day and the beds were changed mid stay. A pleasant hotel away from the crowds but close enough to all the attractions. Would highly recommend.

Background music playing softly at breakfast would take away the quietness. Our room 301 was spotless but the shower screen wasn’t big enough, it needs to be bigger to avoid getting such a wet floor after each showering.
