We booked the apartment. these are big apartments (we had a 3 room apartment, with 2 baths). overall not the newest/most modern rooms, but overall maintenance is good (everything worked). breakfast is good. nice selection, friendly staff and you have the option to choose inside and outside. swimming pool is nice/not huge, but great for kids. Final: location. this is great. you can walk to the mall of Dubai (and the Burj Khalifa), many shops and restaurant options.

to keep in mind when booking a appartment: these are not directly connectded to the hotel, which means that if you booked a breakfast, lunch or diner, you need to exit the appartment building and walk over to the hotel. not a big issue for us, but you should be aware. Noise: The appartment we had was facing the mall/Burj Khalifa side. there is a highway in front of the building and makes lots of noise (We discussed options with the reception, they offered a change to the hotel. I decided to buy earplugs, as the apprartment was more convenient for us). On pictures you see lots of water/swimming pools, but keep in mind that the hotel has only one of the pools that you can use.

This was our first visit of Dubai travelling with a young child and we were debating on location and type of property. This ended up being an excellent choice for the following reasons: - Location is great. short walk to Dubai Mall where you will find plenty of cafes and restaurants also, can view the Fountain show, head to Burj Khalifa and then walk to Wings of Mexico - Taxis are cheap in Dubai and other prime locations like the Palm are still easily accessible with a 30 minute ride - We particularly liked the offer of the Swissotel apartments which gave us plenty of space as a family. Originally I was worried that the apartments might be far away or too seperate from the main hotel and the amenities but it wasn't, it's all within one secure campus/complex - Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptionally friendly and helpful - We loved the different pool options - one is a big bigger and great for sun bathing and relaxing. Another pool closer to the main hotel has a pool bar and offers food and cocktails. You can enjoy a view of the Burj Khalifa from the pool - There is a pub attached to the hotel which was buzzing at night and had great food

- Other reviewers said to make sure to take breakfast as included as food is so expensive in Dubai. Whilst the buffet was very good with lots of choices, I wouldn't take breakfast again and rather explore the many options in the area. Breakfast also finishes at 10:30, and some days we would have preferred to sleep in ;-) - The rooms (esp bathrooms) and decor are quite dated. I knew this and it didn't bother us but if you are looking for something ultra modern then this is not it - Not a biggie but the coffee wasn't great - head to Dubai Mall for a proper Cappuccino

Was upgraded to a suite on arrival, which was nice. Clean, tidy and plenty of sockets (USB C!). All staff very friendly and professional without exception. I opted for breakfast and dinner included, which I highly recommend. Great options for both, with chefs making fresh produce throughout the service. Location very convenient for the mall and other tourist spots. A diverse cliental with multi nationality, couples/family's and business/pleasure, which gave a very inclusive feel. Always enjoy Swissotel's, and wont hesitate in returning to this one!

A traveller FYI and tip. If you travel by public transport, as I did. Rather than walk from the mall metro, through the mall, then crossing the road (which can be extremely confusing for first time visitors to Dubai, walk from emirates towers metro station. This is a similar route, and you can walk through DIFC if you need an AC break, taking the same amount of time.

It was in a brilliant location - within a stones throw of Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. There’s a coffee shop, barber, supermarket and pharmacy all part of the building itself. Our room (a 2 bed apartment) was massive. 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, 3 toilets, drying room and balcony. Everything you could think of was there (iron, ironing board, washing machine, dryer). It made our stay super comfortable and ‘home from home’. I have to give a specific mention to the lifeguards and pool staff, who tirelessly go to great lengths to keep you happy and safe. Particularly Yasser, Baldev, Kishor and Dicent - the dream team. They entertained our kids and kept them safe while we watched from the shallow pool. I’d highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Parts of it were a bit dated, but it didn’t affect the quality of our stay.

Comfortable clean rooms, decent pool, although would be nice to include usage for the other pool shown in photos (for the apartments). Hotel is well located for the Dubai Mall but a shuttle would be helpful in the heat of the day (apparently, they run one in the summer only), there is an odd layout to the hotel, you go to the basement, through the gym and up 3 flights of stairs to get to the pool, or have to walk through the restaurant otherwise. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel bit probably wouldn't go back.

The breakfast buffet was lackluster, not the worst but could be a lot better. The hotel would benefit from better catering for allergies/dietary requirements with improved labelling on food etc On the whole the staff were good (in particular the reception team were excellent) however some of the restaurant and bar staff seemed slightly disinterested or incompetent. .

Location and the customer service especially by Sunday was exceptional.

Large apartment cheaper than a single room..

Turned off the AC , but cold air keep coming via the kitchen vent. The whole place was quite cold. Nothing could apparently be done. Rooms next to the highway, but thankfully on of the rooms was less noisy.

Apartment was a little outdated but was comfy and great for the price. Beds were really comfy and the A/C was great, really good to come back into a nice cool room. Blackout curtains were good and the apartment was very roomy. Breakfast was great with a huge variety. Awesome location with Dubai Mall 5 mins away, great to have everything there and Burj Khalifa next to it as well. Our party arrived early and we were able to get an early check in which was amazing as we had travelled all night, didn't have to wait too long, and as we were leaving early on our last morning, breakfast was offered to us on arrival instead, which was great and killed some time until our room was ready.

A coffee from the downstairs cafe cost a fortune, something like $15 AUD which i would not have ordered if I had known how expensive it was. In saying that, it was huge and a nice coffee, just in a takeaway cup. Arriving in a taxi we were dropped at the main hotel, but we were actually staying in one of the other buildings adjoining and part of the hotel, which nobody explained to us prior to arriving, in saying that it was no bother, the taxi just drove us around to where we needed to be when it was realized we were at the wrong place. Big complex

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Our son got sick late at night and they called a doctor for us and checked in the next day. The breakfast options are endless and the pool was great and supervised by a lifeguard as well as an ice cream station. The staff provide a 5 star service (opening the car and hotel door for you, taking your luggage upstairs, etc).

Don’t be fooled by the location… yes it is very close to everything but you cannot walk anywhere due to the freeway being right at the doorstep. We took Uber everywhere which was totally fine with us but if you’re not willing to do that, then I’d look elsewhere.

Hotel Review: A Comfortable Week-Long Stay I had an excellent week-long stay at this apartment, which provided all the essentials for a smooth and comfortable experience. The apartment was impeccably clean and equipped with a complete set of kitchen utensils, making it easy to prepare quick meals. For longer stays, the inclusion of a washing machine was a huge plus, allowing me to wash clothes conveniently. What made the stay even more enjoyable was the outstanding service provided by the receptionist, Edricks. He went above and beyond to cater to our needs, including helping us call taxis whenever required. His willingness to assist truly enhanced our experience. Overall, this apartment is a great choice for long-term stays, combining cleanliness, convenience, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed in an apartment for 7 days and overall, the experience was positive, but there were a couple of issues that I feel need to be addressed. First, the sink in the bathroom wasn't draining properly, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that toiletries were not replenished after housekeeping services. It's a small detail, but it would have been appreciated during my stay. Aside from these points, the apartment was spacious and comfortable, and I had everything I needed for a longer stay.
