It is very comfortable and welcoming , the breakfast was always lovely and hot. Graham is a very good host, we’re amazed at how it manages to do everything himself. Well done you.

The only thing we can say was the room was a bit too hot, and the road outside is very busy so you can’t have ur window open at night. But saying that, we understand the road is going to be diverted, so that should solve the problem. Also to many cameras inside the property could be a bit invasive, however this wouldn’t put us off staying again, as the positives far out weigh the negatives

Everything was superb........ spotlessly clean room and en-suite both of which were well furnished and provisioned (also triple glazed to keep out unwanted any external traffic noise). Breakfast was very adequate and cooked to perfection and also included delicious home made bread and jams. Location is superb with so many places within easy reach. Last but not least ...... Graham is a brilliant and very witty host that keeps his establishment in tip-top condition. Needless to say, we will almost certainly be going back as we love this part of the country.

In our opinion there was absolutely nothing not to like.

An excellent B&B, in a beautifully restored old house, with a lovely host. Our room was very well appointed with everything we could need for a few days stay. The vegetarian cooked breakfast was excellent. The B&B had some great additional touches, such as the real coffee machine, crockery and microwave in the well furnished residents lounge, along with laminated walking maps to borrow. There was lockable storage for our bikes, and the host, Graham, was able to get our wet weather gear dry overnight after we'd hiked in torrential rain all day.

Nothing at all.

Fantastic experience staying at the Old Manor House. Rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious, beds were very comfy, bathroom had everything we needed. Downstairs from our rooms, the guest area was comfortable with chairs to lounge in, books that could be borrowed, and an automatic coffee machine available for free to make your hot drinks. The breakfast that was included was magnificent. Hot breakfast cooked to order, plus all the usual continental breakfast options, including in-house homemade bread and jams. Graham, our host, was very friendly and amenable, even allowing us to use his phone number in order to use the app required for EV charging, which was another bonus to have on-site. Enjoyed having a chat with him and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would happily recommend. Just wish we had been able to stay longer!

Minor things but I suppose I’ll mention them: The water temperature in the shower fluctuated, presumably when someone else turned a tap on, so you’d go from perfect temp, to freezing cold or boiling hot. But you soon worked out just to step outside of the spray and let it readjust itself after whoever had flushed their loo or washed their hands. Was the only thing that was slightly annoying. The power went out for 5 hours during the night, but not exactly their fault! I’m being picky to even mention it!

Excellent accommodation and breakfast. Very clean. Lovely homemade bread and jams - particularly liked the strawberry and vanilla jam - home made - bought 4 jars to take home with us - best jam I have ever tasted. Plenty of space to put all our luggage - fridge in room - superb. Nothing was too much trouble - very friendly - we not cold - heating and hot water excellent . Would stay there again and have recommended this B & B to several friends - Good location and lots of places to visit - Bus stop very near if you want to use the bus - and bonus - there was a pub just across the road serving excellent evening meals.

Everything is thought of and well presented at this property. Graham the owner was welcoming, there is ample private parking, the room was clean and well maintained bed was comfortable. Bathroom was modern and well kept, shower a nice big walk in. There is road noise from being next to a main road, however this is taken away by the inner double glazed windows... I assume the property is listed hence it has the outer originals then inner double glazed. Breakfast service was prompt, there was plenty of choice and it was tasty and well cooked. The owner offers home made bread and jam which is a nice touch, plus there is also a free coffee machine and cosy lounge area available for guests to use outside of breakfast time. It is the perfect base to explore the lovely Cheddar and surrounding areas.

The only one negative was that as you have to close the windows to cut out the road noise, our room got quite warm, however it was August and not much that could be done about it, you wouldn't expect a property of this type to have AC so at certain times of the year you will have make the choice of temperature or a bit more noise.

Wow, just wow. We were greeted by Graham the owner on our arrival, who welcomed us to his beautiful B&B. Our family room was cozy but spacious, perfect for what we needed. The beds were lovely and comfortable, we had great night sleeps, the room was lovely and quiet. We loved the attention to detail, everything was thought of, we loved the lounge and coffee area, we didn’t have to stay in the room if we didn’t want too. The dinning area catered for all you could want, the cooked breakfast was delicious with lots of egg options available! All child needs were thought of with children’s plates, cutlery and a booster seat. We wished we’d stayed here longer, we’ll definitely be coming back. What a beautiful place.

We wished we’d stayed there longer.

What a beautiful, comfortable, and very welcoming place to stay! The owner was so friendly and helpful, with local knowledge for places to eat etc. The location was perfect for a mid journey break as it was right beside the A38. However, the secondary glazing made sure there was absolutely no traffic noise at all, which also retaining the integrity of the building, which is absolutely beautiful. The decor has been sympathetically done, which we absolutely loved! And the bed was incredibly comfortable! Breakfast was great - we didn't have hot food, however it looked fabulous and very plentiful! The home made jams were delicious, as was the homemade bread. I would highly recommend a stay here, and would definitely return

There was nothing to dislike, everything was perfect!

I was traveling with my 82 year old father and we had originally made reservations for one night. Before we traveled to Axbridge we had to rearrange our trip and I called Graham to ask if we could extend our stay by 2 nights. He was so accommodating and gracious to our needs. When we arrived he could not have been more welcoming and helpful with our bags. I loved the design and comfort of the inn. The full English breakfast was delicious and there is a nice assortment of delicious jams and jellies for toast. There is one pub directly across the road and more in Axbridge. Thank you Graham and your team for your superior customer service and friendliness. I am not finished exploring Glastonbury but if I make it back from the States I’ll definitely stay there.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.
