If you are visiting the Causeway Coast this hotel is right next to the National Trust Visitor Centre. This is good for viewing the Giant's Causeway early in the morning before the hordes of tourists arrive. All the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast is included (a definite plus) and there is a very good choice of food.
The TV didn't work and even after one of the staff had 'fixed it' it did not access many channels including all the BBC channels. There was a high wind during our second night and there was lot of banging. Next morning I could see a piece of lead flashing just above our room had broken off and was flapping about in the wind.

This hotel is right next to the Giant's Causeway and so convenient. Right next door is the visitors center where you can explore info about the site and get an audio guide to use while you explore the causeway. Being able to just go back to your room after hiking was icing on the cake. We also ate dinner and breakfast here (breakfast was included in our reservation) and found both to be enjoyable. I thought our dinner was tasty. Had the burger, fish and chips, and chicken carbonara (3 in our party). Perfectly good and satisfying. We also had a few drinks in the bar after dinner and enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast was good as well imo, and we felt well fed from the continental offerings plus made-to-order choices from the menu (all included). Our room (no. 18 with a terrace) was fairly spacious and had a coffee machine and coffee pods with extras. Shower/bath combo in the bathroom with hot water and good pressure. Beds were comfortable and our room was toasty warm all night. Since it was more off season, the Giant's Causeway was not quite as crowded, especially after the center closed for the day. We went exploring after the center closed and tour buses left, and had the place mostly to ourselves. While this property is older/historic it appears to be in good repair and maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable, and everything was in working order. We were moving pretty slow in the morning and asked for and received an extra hour to check out of the room which was very appreciated. Overall, we felt well cared for here and would return.
On entering our room we realized there were only two sets of towels. We had to request an extra set for the third person (triple room) twice before finally getting another set. Also, there were no chairs on the terrace. The rooms with terrace and sea view did have chairs. Even though we didn't have an official "sea view" we did have a peekaboo view and would have liked to sit out on the terrace when it wasn't as windy as it was still a lovely space.

We came here 6 years ago and liked it so much we came back. Something’s have changed since like rising restaurant prices due to Covid but this is the same everywhere in the surrounding location. Beautiful grounds and nice connection to the visitor centre next door.
We were put in a room directly above the bar, which disturbed our sleep the first night. The second night, there was a live musician it was so loud in our room the floor vibrated due to the sound. Thankfully the staff gave us another much quieter room down the hall but it would have been nice to have the heads up/not have had that room in the first place.

Staff were lovely, Views were amazing, both Carbonara and breakfast were beautiful, Room was beautifully decorated and very warm, with extremely comfortable bed. Staff had no problem with me taking food and drinks up to the room and collecting dishes from outside the door that evening.
It would of been perfect with a fluffy robe and the slippers for after the shower, or a blanket at the bottom of the bed that we could of used on the balcony during the evening when it was cold, also our room had no shampoo so we had to use hand soap

We have stayed many times at the Causeway Hotel and it never disappoints. The room we had was very spacious and recently refurbished and the view was stunning. We had a delicious evening meal and enjoyed every minute of our stay in the Causeway Hotel. We got free entry to the visitor’s centre included with our room which was great and a guided tour of the Causeway which is beautiful. So a great hotel in a perfect location.
The breakfast is always good but over the recent years they have changed from fried to grilled bread in their normally Ulster fry. I’m sure this is a disappointment to many visitors. But other than that nothing to dislike.

If you are wanting to see the Giant's Causeway the location does not get any better - walk out the door and turn left. This is an older, historic hotel with a lot of old-world charm and creakiness. Rooms and bathrooms are modernized but still maintain vibe of an older historic place. Located immediately adjacent to the Giant's Causeway visitors center is convenient and easy for drivers. Breakfast included in our room was cooked to order and very good. Onsite restaurant is convenient and serves good food (the burger is huge!). Staff was friendly and made it possible for us to check in quickly even though we were a bit early.
Very little not to like. Room was a bit small, as is typical of older hotel buildings. I did not see a lift, so we had to use the steps, which was not a bother. Old-world charm has some rough edges, but generally this place was great.

Loved the location. Everyone of the staff were exceptional - not just on a professional level but they were happy to help with other things and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. The food served is fantastic. Really is a remarkable little place ideally situated for exploring the causeway and coast.
There was nothing we didn't like. The only thing to be aware of is the site and hotel are busy between 09.00 & 18.30 with being in the site for the giants causeway, however it is managed perfectly and car parking for guests always kept available - so for us was definitely not an issue.

Excellent location immediately next to Giants Causeway. That way one can take a walk to the Causeway in the evening when most visitors are gone. The room was very large and well equipped. Nice terrace with two chairs. Breakfast was excellent but make sure to be there early, as the buffet selections dwindle fast and some things were not replaced (at least while we were there). Very convenient that the hotel has its own parking space reserved for hotel guests only (the one of the causeway itself seems to be overcrowded).
Hot breakfast choices from the menue were not all available while we where there (tried to order the Salmon toast twice, but it was already gone at 8 am when the breakfast started). Likewise if something ran out at the continental breakfast buffet it was often not replaced (e.g. there where only ca. 10 glasses of yoghurt for 28 rooms, which were gone at 8:10). Room was a bit smelly, apparently from the sink in the bathroom.

A beautiful hotel in an amazing location. You couldn't ask for a better spot to explore the giant's causeway. It was very special to walk down to the causeway at dusk, then straight into the hotel for a delicious dinner... (the hotel restaurant had a couple of tasty vegetarian options!)... and then to pop down for a run along the causeway the next morning. Just magical. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with many hot and cold options. We'd love to stay again.

The location of the hotel is fantastic for visiting the Giant's Causeway. The information center is adjacent to the hotel as is the start of the hiking trails. The dining rooms are nice and well staffed. We found the menu's very limited but the food was excellent and service quick.
The hotel is a bit "tired" and there is no lift to the rooms. The checkin clerk carried our bags to our room which was nice since we were on a 3 week trip with heavy bags. But this is not a hotel for those needing an elevator. Our room said it had ocean views which it did (in the distance) but it overlooked the parking lot and front door which was noisy.
