Excellent stay at this b&b. Very clean, very quiet, great comfy beds. But most of all a lovely family running this place. Discreet but very helpful and kind. The lady who runs the place, prepared breakfast for a young mum with a toddler. She proposed to take care of the wee boy for the mother to take the time to enjoy her breakfast. My heart melts for those kind little gestures. Such a nice person. And the breakfast is delicious.

We love the breakfast choices available. The beds were very comfortable and plush. The well manicured driveway looked almost like a postcard and we liked taking photos there. The host is very friendly and shared with us to visit Ballintoy harbour which we did. They also provided a book with recommended places to visit& places to dine nearby--which was a thoughtful addition.

The bathroom floor was very cold-- it would hv been good if they could provide bathroom slippers or hotel slippers. Luckily we brought our own.

The place is family-owned and at the best location in the whole village. Soo beautiful that it will take away your soul. You can have a village view as well as a beach view. The owner Sorcha is such a nice lady and recommends you ONLY the best places in the town to eat and drink. There is a full Irish breakfast available included in the price. The rooms were full of space and cosy with magnificent views in the morning. The place offers free parking as well.

Everything was PERFECT.

The place was so lovely, from the start driving in with the lovely trees and the friendly host greeting us, the very comfy room with a bath which was amazing after a long day exploring the beautiful coast, unexpectedly having a sea view from the room and then a beautiful Irish breakfast in the morning! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a lovely stay on our causeway coastal trip!

Host very accommodating, friendly without being intrusive. Delicious breakfast options included soda bread and potato bread, yum! A goat tethered in the garden. Close to beautiful coastal drive and also close to Dark Hedges and Giants Causeway. Easy access even though we arrived late at night.

I would have liked a bigger bed rather than a standard double.

This was truly a Gem! Absolutely fantastic magical location for walking and driving. Was also perfect for us as we were travelling onward to Scotland from Larne. Easy to find and only a few mins walk to the restaurants and pubs of Cushendall. To be honest I couldn’t say enough about my whole experience staying here, breakfasts superb, wide range to choose from, continental, full Irish, lots of vegetarian and meat options, delicious OJ & coffee. Warm, super large room with comfortable beds and beautiful views with an en suite bathroom, very large with a great bath and strong shower, everything spotless. Also a large sitting room for our use, which was a delight to just chill. But to top it all off you really couldn’t meet nicer people, good people, an absolute delight! A big thank you to Mary and all, you made our stay in Cushendall extra special, will return for sure, Audrey & Fergus.

Both myself and my colleague found everything excellent, very clean, excellent food, very welcoming and friendly. it was my colleague's first visit to northern Ireland and he is looking forward to returning and will be using the Glendale again. we have no hesitation in recommending the Glendale and in fact Cushendal to everyone. every venue in the town, bars and restaurants were friendly and excellent

We could have stayed longer, our visit was too short, we will use this in future as our base for visits to northern Ireland.

Very friendly, welcoming owners. Lovely Irish breakfast. Good location in Cushendall; not far to walk to the centre of the village & an ideal place to stay for those doing the Causeway Coastal route. I stumbled on a hurling match while I was staying here as there are pitches nearby and really enjoyed my first taste of hurling. I'd highly recommend a visit to the nearby Glenariff Forest Park; it's a very peaceful place for a walk, with stunning views & waterfalls.

Wonderful location with a delightful couple who seem to love what they do. We had many questions and they were both very helpful. Our room was pleasant and very clean. Breakfast was lovely each morning. The town's restaurants were just a short walk or drive away and we had two very nice meals, one at Harry's and another at Laragh Lodge, which had a path to several lovely waterfalls.
