Lovely location, comfortable bed and pillows , large private room away from the popular bar/restaurant, friendly approachable staff members. Big smiles at dinner and breakfast. Request for check in time agreed, and 11am check out very civilised. Huge portions for dinner, delicious sticky toffee pudding. No wonder it was so busy, recommend booking. Fantastic outdoor seating area with individual huts. Although we didn’t have a dog, it was great to see so many dogs getting a great welcome and being treated to sausage at breakfast.

A minor point for me personally, I was disappointed that there was no fruit available at breakfast to have with my yoghurt. Lots of choice for hot breakfast for anyone who likes cooked items though.

The Pub was fantastic and very good local beer, the meals were fab and the breakfast was wonderful. We stayed for 3 nights for a family wedding (in a local village).

The room we staying in was not as shown on the web page, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a bit on the flat side. To use the kettle and tea/coffee facilities you had to kneel no the floor!!. The wall under the window had a hole in it and one of the blinds was not in place although the fixtures were still hanging down !! There was no thermostat control on the radiators in the bedroom and the bathroom was not working correctly and was boiling hot 24/7.

We have stayed in The Craster Arms many times and it is our 'go to' Hotel in what is our favourite area in the UK. The hotel is always spotless, the rooms are lovely and big for our dogs, and the food is great too. The outside Beer Garden is fantastic and there is always a great atmosphere; especially when they have live music on

The location is excellent, close to sandy beaches, all local attractions and with public transport available on the doorstep should you fancy a trip out without the car. The food is of an excellent standard as is the beer. Dog friendly and a gorgeous beer garden. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. A special thanks to the morning/ breakfast staff who make sure you start the day on a high note.

Range of food available, particularly the Craster Kippers! We ate in the bar on our 1st evening (fish and chips) which we enjoyed. Staff were all helpful and pleasant.

We had a cooked breakfast of the 2nd morning (Stayed over two days), better quality sausages would improve the plate. Maybe offer a list of food items from which to choose?! Also, the outside door to the rooms was broken when we arrived and did not get repaired at any point during our stay though it was reported immediately and looked at the next morning by a tradesman.

As a dog owner staying in a hotel, you always think how dog friendly are they ….. well definitely very dog friendly. The Team at the Craster are amazing, the food is excellent, we had our evening meal there last night and I had a meal off their specials menu which was divine. The rooms are amazing. The best for me though was the team that worked in the morning for breakfast. We have stayed at loads of different places and never ever have I been felt soooo welcome as the young lady made a fuss over our dog.. Soo welcoming. Also the beer garden with the huts and all the flowers I could go on …… it is amazing!!!!

Nothing it is excellent.

The extra seating space separate to the sleeping area was great for relaxing in the evening. The food was excellent, both breakfast and evening meals. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The village is quiet, pretty, and very close to the beach.

The room was tastefully decorated but I would say that the walls and woodwork are due a freshen up. Otherwise a lovely place to stay

Fab location, staff brilliant with one of the best breakfast you could wish for, all fresh and cooked to perfection. Room was very large with very comfortable bed , with lovely clean soft bedding.

While clean one or two areas that needed some attention to detail eg, net curtain kept falling down as not secure, toilet seat could do with changing and just a minor point, very few electric point so difficult for my wife to dry her hair as none next to mirror.

The staff are really lovely. The food is excellent The location is good being 5 minutes walk from the beach

There were a couple of issues including no hot water from the taps in the sink particularly in the morning and a missing TV remote meaning we couldn’t use the TV throughout the course of the stay. It would’ve been nice to have been offered some compensation for this.

Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Great location. Very dog friendly, no extra charge to bring your furry friend which is real bonus. Had good food and enjoyed the festive feel of the place inside and out.

A standing lamp and a coffee table would be good additions to private suite lounge area but little things really. It was a great stay.
