The room was a good size. And comfortable. They had a very good dog attitude. They allowed well behaved dogs, most places. They had a good sized garden to let the dog stretch her legs. The staff were kind and very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. The house and garden are both well presented with good parking facilities.

The shower was hot if you ran the tap for a while but very low pressure. Took a while to get the shampoo from your hair. They could have a dog bin in the garden as it's hard to dispose of little bags from your dog when you are staying in a dog friendly hotel. Dinner was fine dining and tasted great if you like small portions. You really need to eat the three courses to fill you up, plus a few potatoes for a grown man. But it was well presented.

Wonderful breakfast menu! The staff lets you choose what warm dish you want for breakfast the day after - like full English breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine etc. We tried a few of the dishes and all were amazing! There’s also a little cold buffet with toasts, croissants etc.

It was not clear that you needed to check in at 10 pm at latest, it was only after we filled in the pre-check in form that we got informed out it the same day. We were driving from south for a few hours and needed to rearrange and stress so make it in time.

Nice room in the coach house, very convenient with a dog as access onto grass area from the room. Staff very pleasant and polite. Lovely main building. Comfortable bed and fan available in the room. Breakfast was very nice.

WiFi was not great in the room and as the phone reception was sketchy this concerned me that we could not be contacted in an emergency. Dog friendly yet no facilities to dispose of dog waste. No information in the room at all including emergency advice.

The whole atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and peaceful. The staff were all lovely and helpful and the location was great as we wanted to get to Ironbridge and Bridgnorth. The food was lovely, breakfast was all good quality ingredients and then the evening meal was a real treat.

The only thing that I would say is that the room and bathroom were getting a little dated but that said, everything worked ok and the beds were very comfortable.

Location was perfect for what we were in the local area for. Beautiful countryside all around. Food was great and staff were friendly. The property was clean as well.

No complaints while we were there however I sent the property a message a few days after our stay about an item I had left behind by mistake and to this date I haven’t had a response which is disappointing.

Our weekend away in this hotel was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and more importantly they loved my two little dogs who were excited to meet everyone. The location was superb and I have no doubt we will be returning in the near future

There was nothing to dislike

Good location with the hotel sitting in nice grounds in a quiet location Really good breakfast in a lovely bright room flooded with natural light as you watch the pheasants strutting across the lawn

The shore was nice and hot but not very powerful, a fine spray only

Breakfast was lovely freshly cooked to order so nice and hot .Electric heater in room was a good idea so never cold .

No complaints but I did mention that a light by the big mirror would be an advantage when doing hair and makeup

The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed and bed super comfy. The chef is to be commended on deliciously cooked food beautifully presented...and our dog was treated as a VIP. Totally recommend either as a restaurant or for accommodation as well. Delightful.

The room was beautiful with large old furniture in keeping with the age of the building.

The breakfast was lovely but I had scrambles egg which although tasted lovely was extremely runny and difficult to eat.
