Greeted by a incredibly friendly co-owner upon entry. Was given lovely guidance on the best local places in Brighton, as well as his personal favourites. Locations is fantastic - short walk to the city Centre and the lanes, the waterfront is 30 seconds away and everything you would need for a city stay is right there. Very clean, very well kept and a very, very lovely city mini-hotel.

The room itself is a little small but we expected that. Also incredibly warm but that’s not the room’s fault - they supplied a fan to help cool us down. No option for breakfast but there are plenty of local cafes around so again, not an issue for us.

This was our first visit to Brighton & we were delighted to see our hotel as we approached it, I must say it looked the best on the street from the outside & inside didn’t disappoint us either! We arrived early by train & this wasn’t a problem at all, we were met by Peter & Steve & who checked us in, gave us lots of information about where to eat, drink., sightseeing tips etc which was very helpful. Even though we were early our room was ready, we were on the top floor, sea view & it was a beautiful room!! Very spacious with everything you could need, spotless & we really couldn’t have asked for anything more. Without a doubt we would definitely stay here again & highly recommend Red Brighton Blue!!

There really wasn’t any negatives for us.

Peter and Steve were very warm and welcoming and marked places of interest on the map along with directing me to their online guide of things to do and places to eat. My room was spotless and charming with a comfortable bed and pillows, great shower, cable channels, and some free beverages and yummy snacks. The weather was cold and rainy so I spent a lot of time in my cozy room! I had to take a lot of stairs to get to my room on the upper floor, but they were very nice to help me with my heavy luggage. Staff is friendly and helpful, too! This lovely hotel is on a quiet street and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes, and beachfront. Highly recommend.

You stepped into 100% peace and tranquility the moment you entered the front door, both in the impeccable decor and the general ambiance, it was total relaxed joy! Everything was quality, no cutting corners here! I was a solo traveler, got a fairly compact room at the back of the building (room 1), but everything had been well thought through. Excellent bed and linen, lovely pillows, tea and coffee in the room. Fantastic shower with nice toiletries. So quiet, slept like a baby, and despite being in vibrant Brighton over a weekend during the Euro football games!! I will be back! Thank you Peter and Steve, you’ve created something special there!!

Very friendly hosts. I liked the little extra touches, like having little chocolate Easter bunnies mixed in with the tea tray. The location is great - about 2 mins walk to the beach (around 8 mins to Brighton Pier), and next to James Street with its eclectic mix of restaurants and little shops. Great arrangement for parking: it was possible to get parking vouchers, which made it possible to park in Zone C, and there are some corners where it is possible without too much trouble to find a space not far from the hotel. With regards to the room: very grateful I had an upgrade, i.e. slightly bigger room - which was still quite small. I was very impressed by how much the hosts had managed to fit into the room without it appearing cramped: a Nespresso machine, kettle, tea tray, a little fridge, a wall-mounted Smart-TV, a safe, and a double bed. It meant there was very little floor space, though - no desk, no chair, roughly 30-40 cms around the bed was all the room there was. Absolutely fine for what I needed for this weekend - if I had needed to do some work, that might have been challenging. But it was a weekend away after all! Very nice shower room, fluffy towels - all in all everything for a nice and relaxing time.

Room was on the small side, otherwise all good. It didn't bother me, but the offer is for "room only", no breakfast available. A good excuse to explore the cafes in the surrounding area, of which there are plenty - and with kettle and Nespresso machine available you do not have to leave the house uncaffeinated.

The bed was so comfortable, and it (the hotel) was so close and easy access to get to the sea and all the main attractions along the sea front * loved the shutters and push up window, was such a nice addition to see the view outside in the morning * nice selection of teas and coffees in the room and the mini fridge was so helpful for keeping all my drinks cold * The addition of the makeup mirror was so helpful to do my makeup in by the window every morning and much appreciated * TV had youtube which was easy to stream to to play music

Charming, FRAGRANT (gentle Jo Malone diffusion in reception!), super-clean, well appointed and chic little boutique guest house. Absolutely first rate. Steve was delightful and super-knowledgeable and helpful as host. Room was gorgeous and well designed, with lovely, top-notch REN toiletries and DeLonghi tea and coffee-making facilities (chocolate and lovely biscuits a most welcome touch). Brilliant location, sea and excellent breakfast location at either end of the quiet, pretty road.

The 'small' double was, indeed, too small to allow opening a rigid cabin bag flat on the floor. But we managed and would book that room again for its super value. The rate was great.

I recently stayed at the Red Brighton Blue to celebrate my Mum's birthday weekend and was thoroughly impressed. The room was immaculately clean, and its location within walking distance to Brighton city centre and an array of great restaurants and bars made exploring the area effortless. The guest guide provided fantastic tips, and the hosts were exceptionally kind and friendly, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Additionally, they surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and a very thoughtful birthday card, adding a personal touch that truly made our experience unforgettable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and comfortable experience in Brighton.

Room was tiny but well appointed, very clean and comfortable. There was a small fridge in the room and a bottle of water provided daily in addition to chocolate and sparkling drink on arrival. Tea, coffee and biscuits were also provided. The bathroom was also very tiny but very nice with a good sized shower. Located close to the seafront and only a few minutes walk to the beach, pier and town centre. I did not meet the owners but they were very helpful beforehand arranging a self check in for my late arrival. Breakfast is not provided but there are many cafes in the area.

Fabulous hotel which is spotlessly clean and decorated impeccably. It is the perfect mixture of period charm together with all the modern conveniences you could need. A variety of teas, coffee Nespresso machine, hot chocolate, biscuits and water are supplied and replenished daily. There is a large TV which includes Netflix, Alexa, good WiFi, a safe and small fridge. The beds and pillows are super comfy and the bathroom is very modern with a great shower. Steve gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful. The hotel is ideally situated just up the street from the seafront and within a few minutes walk of restaurants and bars and about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the town centre. We would highly recommend Red Brighton Blue and would definitely stay again if visiting Brighton in the future. Thank you Steve and Peter, there is nothing you could improve on - absolutely perfect!
