A modern day Faulty Towers which met my expectations exactly. This is not an upmarket luxury establishment but a substitute for a Premier Inn. Good staff. I took the 'French Room' which was a good size with amusing furnishing. There was probably the best example of using plastic wood I have seen for a long time. The room was just the right side of shabby chic. Good dinner and breakfast menu. Excellent steak pie. Big garden for the summer although limited parking. Cheerful staff. There was a helpful Sybil and Basil made an appearance.

Upon reflection: Terrible WiFi. The cook needs to taste what is being served. Bar area seating was dirty and generally the public areas need refurbishing. Why was the heated serving buffet left open to the public uncleaned? Oh well as I said a delightful 'Faulty Towers' experience.

Breakfast I thought was very good. Well cooked, plenty of options. We also had dinner one night in the restaurant and that again was good wholesome food, so much so that we could not manage a dessert which is unusual.

When we came to check out, the card reader would not work. We had to go over to a cash machine, which fortunately was nearby and cobble together the cash to settle the bill. I don’t suppose for a moment it was the fault of the hotel, but nevertheless it was a bit of a pain. Other than that everything was fine.

The building itself was excellent and very comfortable. The evening bar staff who served me was very polite and attentive, and the chef even served the food and took the time to chat. The reception staff on arrival was very positive and welcoming, and room that was upgraded for no extra charge was quaint, comfortable and everything I needed. A thoroughly enjoyable stay all be it short, but I will be using this hotel every time I am in the area for work.

Nothing springs to mind. Enjoyed every minute.

Nice big comfy bed!

Whilst the room had everything we needed, it was very dated especially the 1970's French Provincial furniture. The bathroom especially and the hair dryer was broken unfortunately. The light above the mirror didn't work. The shower could do with an adjustable head. The bedroom could also do with a lick of paint. We would however stay here again because it's reasonably priced and close to relatives. Absolutely amazing full English breakfast!

Problem with our original room but we were moved immediately. Food and portions excellent. Liked that there were numerous staff members around but may have been due to the wedding that weekend. We booked so we could bring our dog which was very successful in terms of new room location and restaurant table.

Original room upstairs had problem with toilet. Also we were asked if we wanted double or twin initially and were disappointed that room was a twin. We were moved and replacement room was a better standard ... double bed, nearer to outside which was more convenient for dog walking and ground floor which was better for dog on a lead.

The reseption girls were great easy book in knowledge about area etc, bar staff lovely too, breakfast staff where amusing, the beds were the most comfortable I've ever found in any hotel, the bathroom was like me very small but worked My friend and I spend the daytime "doing" the shops in Chichester,

There was nothing we didn't like but I would advise guest not to park under the tree in the car park my car was covered in pigeon poo 😱

This was a lovely cosy hotel which is busy. Parking available in the grounds if your lucky to get a space otherwise parking on the street available. The room had everything you wanted. Breakfast menu choices were nice. Pet friendly rooms available. You can dine in the evening and in a pet friendly area if you like you furry friend with you but need to book a table as they get busy. Very nice meals reasonably priced

Lack of hanging rails in the bathroom for wet towels. Lack of communication for attending the breakfast about where you get you juice and cerals etc for the pet friendly area. The team could explain a little more especially if you have not attended before how if works. Undercooked omelette one morning which put me off my breakfast but different chef the next day made all the difference

I have stayed here before so I new the location, you can drive to the beach area in eight minutes or walk in about 25 minutes.the breakfast was excellent a good choice of cereal and English breakfast. The staff on duty were very friendly and very helpful if we needed anything

Being a listed building the windows are single glazed and in wooden frames ,our room was facing the road so it was a bit noisy first thing in the morning

The Hotel was welcoming and cosy. We had a comfortable room with nice, clean, fresh bedding.

The breakfast wasn't upto it's usual high standard which was disappointing. I would have given the rating a 10 but dropped a point due to the breakfast. I ordered poached eggs with bacon on toast. It came without toast, just eggs and bacon. The food was tasty but cold and the plate it was on was cold too. Toast was served separately but there were only two slices for the two of us. I didn't complain at the time.

We first visited Inglenook over 30 years ago and regularly over the years . It’s under new ownership and it hasn’t lost its charm. The food in the evening was wonderful and really I enjoyed the evening

The shower was really poor, very slow, very weak. The breakfast although generous, I cut mine down to smaller portion wasn’t the best I’ve had there , but I know maybe the quality of sausages and bacon gave way to quantity, however you can’t please all of the people all of the time and there were plenty of other options, think I would opt for omelette next time over the full English breakfast.
