the accommodation is in a beautiful location and the view is really incredible. but you should know that there is "nothing" far and wide except nature, the coast and lots of sheep. it is really relaxing and brings peace into the day. there's a lovely tea house about 10 minutes' drive away that sells delicious snacks as well as homemade candles, creams and fragrances. it's well worth a visit.
for your information, there are no restaurants or sops nearby. so it is recommended to eat beforehand or to bring something to eat. there is a microwave and a fridge at your disposal.

Tor Druim is built on the side of a hill, with 'The most picture perfect view' of the sea and mountains. It is absolutely beautiful. Greg and Janet - Our hosts are truly amazing! They are easygoing and friendly, with the comfort of their guests as a very important priority whilst you are staying there. The extra touches, i.e., home baked biscuits, filtered water, thermos of milk. ( all so appreciated) All this in a super clean, extra large, very tastefully designed room with window views of the sea and mountains, a Kingsized double bed (so comfortable, best sleep since we started our travels) It was also lovely to have a 'working' hot towel rail in the bathroom! Breakfast was delicious, and nothing was too much trouble to ask for. The use of fridge and microwave in the 'dining room' to store and use foods YOU bring with you was very handy if you didn't want to travel out for evening meal. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed if they are fortunate to have the opportunity to stay.
Absolutely nothing!

The B&B was lovely and the views were exceptional. We chose this place due to the location and in person it was even better than the photos. The room was adorable. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was excellent with great pressure and plenty of hot water. The hosts, Greg and Jan were kind and informative. We 100% recommend this B&B and would stay again in a heartbeat.
The single track road to get there was a little nerve wrecking, coming from the northside. We used the sourthern road to go site seeing and when we left the property and that road was better.

I cant really put into words what a lovely place this was and how lucky we were to experience it. The property was so lovely, the room was amazing - home made shortbread, soft furnishings, little touches in the bathroom. View from the front and side windows of our room were breath-taking - making us not want to even leave our room. Best of all was the breakfast - we tried something different every day - the home made scotch pancakes were fabulous! we would come back in a heartbeat.
nothing we didn't like

I don't want to give Tor Druim too good a review because we will definitely want to return and may find it fully booked!! However one must be fair to the owners and give full credit. We were warmly welcomed to the house, there is plenty of parking and not far to carry the luggage. Our room offered amazing views out over the bay and had a velux window that opened to give a wide unrestricted view. The room was large, impeccably clean, modern and well appointed. Although there are no catering facilities nearby, we were prepared and took out own food/wine which was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic and we both really enjoyed it. Also loved playing with the 2 gorgeous springer spaniels Daisy and Jake. A wonderful place to stay with lovely hosts.

We wanted to experience staying in a remote Scottish location and enjoyed the rural peace and quiet. The views of the coastline and Quinag are wonderful.
We noted that the amount charged included a £20 property service charge per night. We had never encountered such a charge during our travels all over Scotland, and assumed that our room would be cleaned every day and towels changed. This was not the case, however. So the nature of this expense remains a bit of a mystery.

Lovely location, with fantastic views from our bedroom windows. The garden slopes down toward the loch, and there is a wonderful sheltered seat overlooking the loch which is lovely to just sit and relax on. Fantastic breakfast each morning, and the room was very comfortable, with a superb bed. Along with the coffee and tea in the room, they also left homemade shortbread biscuits that were delicious.
Nothing about the property to dislike.

EVERYTHING!! This is truly a piece of heaven on earth!! Tor Druim is way up in the mountains of northwest Scotland and I could stay here forever. It’s the perfect place for writing - if only we could have stayed longer. just note that there is a narrow, one lane road that winds up the mountain from both the south and the north. You might not want to arrive past dark, in my opinion. We had the luxury of a long summer day and were able to soak in all the glory along the way. Arriving at Tor Druim, you’ll be greeted by the most beautiful flowers and butterflies! You can relax in the back, watching as the sun begins to sink closer to the horizon. We stayed in the Arran room and it is stunning! Greg has done all the remodeling himself and he is truly a master! The big soaking tub was one of the highlights for me! Janet meets Greg’s workmanship with her chef quality skills in the kitchen. Janet leaves a lovely menu of breakfast items to order from the evening before breakfast and although I ordered far too much food, I am so happy I was apple to taste so many of Janet’s delicious creations! They are very conscious of their dogs, but we asked to see them and were able to fill our hearts full with Jake and Daisy! The sun doesn’t really set near the summer solstice, but we didn’t mind! Greg has thought of this though and has installed wonderful black-out blinds to make the room dark, if you choose to do so. And the gorgeous views from the room! You will not be disappointed with a stay here. It’s as close to perfection as you can find!!
Nothing - it was perfect!

A wonderful place in a beautiful quiet area. Comfortable spacious room with fantastic view. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed for 3 nights and loved each. Because of its remote beauty, you have to take care for your dinner. We had late lunch in Lochinver for example, but you can use the fridge and micro wave in the guest house, too.

Location fantastic - absolutely breathtaking views and a lovely room. It's a long way off the beaten path though, so you need to have organised food beforehand (it's 30 minutes drive from any restaurant) but the hosts provide a microwave and access to the dining room to fix your own picnic/ready meal. The breakfast was fabulous - the yellowest scrambled eggs I have ever had - the eggs apparently... very happy Scottish chickens!!
We hoped to do a walk from the location, but there aren't any paths immediately locally apparently.
