On my return visit was upgraded to a double room.Large room,which was serviced each day,excellent tea/coffee machine,freesat tv in room.The breakfast was brilliant,loads of choice orange juice,yoghourt,cereal,as regards the cooked breakfast,bacon,sausage,hash brown,tomato,mushroom,choice of egg fried/poached/scrambled and black pudding. Obviously you could have any permutation you wanted,tea/coffee and choice of white/brown toast. Was in Room 3 which had a shower which got up toheat quickly.

Perhaps some background music in dining room could be provided

Elaine and Steve are excellent hosts and made our stay very enjoyable and easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a seaview, and very quiet. They provide a great choice of breakfasts, cooked to order, and we had something different each day of our stay. Great location opposite the beach, in a quiet part of Eastbourne, a 5 - 10 minute taxi ride from the railway station. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Warm welcome. Hosts couldn't be more friendly and considerate. Excellent breakfasts. Pleasant room. Superb value for money. Eastbourne and district have lots of opportunities for exploration and entertainment. Recommend the behind the scenes tour at the Towner!

En-suite was a little on small side but soon gor used to it.

Elaine and Steve are perfect hosts. Lovely couple, Friendly, warm and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and offered the use of a kettle instead of coffee machine. Even said they would order us a takeaway if we wanted to eat in. Spotlessly clean. Parking not a problem. Breakfast lived up to all the great reviews. (Delicious) Would definitely return if we come to Eastbourne again. Loved our room with balcony.

Steve and Elaine are lovely hosts, they clearly enjoy meeting their guests, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in Room5, sea view and balcony, exactly as the Web site shows, room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was substantial with a good choice. Cooked perfectly with quality ingredients.

Nice Guest House with great views of the sea. Steve & Elaine are lovely, friendly, welcoming people who made us feel at home. Great quality english breakfast and coffee from a machine. 20 minute walk from town. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

Nothing not to like. Personal preference for a better night's sleep would be for a kingsize bed as we found the double really short and narrow, but we realise this incurs costs for the owners.

Comfortable pleasant room in a quiet location. Excellent breakfast served to order. Helpful and friendly hosts. Freesat tv, coffee maker and WiFi available in room.

Hosts very accomodating. I was given an upgraded room which had a sea view. Tea and coffee facilities were great. Lovely cooked breakfast to order and served hot. Perfect.

I would have liked pillows with more volume. They were a bit flat.

Comfy bed, lovely friendly atmosphere, Elaine & Steve were very welcoming and friendly, room was very hot, there was a fan in the wardrobe, breakfast was delicious and made with all fresh locally sourced produce,

The sink in the bathroom was tiny and very awkward to brush your teeth as a shelf above it but only a minor problem, nothing that spoilt our stay!

It was a great stay with the friendliest host we have ever met. Got many recommendations to explore the city. Breakfast was super - freshly prepared. Not far from the beach to go for a swim and bus stop is nearby.
