The rooms were a decent size, clean & neat with new furnishings. The shower was a good size too with a static pressure system, meaning you don't get any more or less than what it's been set at, but you also don't get variations in the temperature of the water as other guests are using their showers. Our room had a view of the loch which we appreciated. The breakfast was good, with an ample selection & sized serving for a small but well run establishment. All-in-all, you aren't likely to be disappointed. It's decent value for money, the staff are friendly & it has everything you need for a short stay.

It's June & while it's been cooler than usual for Scotland, hardly cold. Why then was the guesthouse's central heating on as though it was the middle of winter, I have no idea. The room was like a hot house when we checked in. Most annoying was that the next morning - in spite of having turned off the radiator in the room, it somehow came back on again. Fortunately we were getting ready to leave, so we didn't make a fuss about it. Best you like early mornings because breakfast is served between 8 & 9am. Checkout is 10am, which though understandable for a small establishment run by a small staff complement, is still a touch earlier than most.

View of the Loch was incredible from the room! Room was cozy and well decorated. Process for ordering breakfast was easy/efficient and the food was delicious! Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and wished we'd had more than one night to stay. Also loved the shower - great water pressure and more space than I'm used to in Europe.

Place was a bit difficult to find in the late evening. Easy to follow signs from the road but got a bit confused once we'd parked. A very minor inconvenience given how wonderful everything else was.

Fabulous stay in the most wonderful setting with stunning views over Loch Ness and just across the road from The Falls Of Foyers. Our hosts Louise and Terry were so welcoming and our room was spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Dinner was absolutely delicious as was the breakfast, all cooked by Terry . The bar stocks an incredible 204 types of whiskey, that louise is extremely knowledgeable about . We would love to visit again and stay for longer, as it was so relaxing .

The location and views were amazing. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, good quality bedding and fittings.

Upon arrival, the host read the 'rules', and I had to sign a disclaimer even before seeing the room. The host was abrupt and passive-aggressive. Our party felt unwelcome. The host was pleasant when we were having a meal in her restaurant. Later in the evening, the hosts told us at 9pm. that all the other residents were in bed, so we felt it was an insinuation we should do the same.

Everything about our stay with Foyers House was wonderful. The beds were like fluffy clouds, the view was to die for and the cat welcoming committee was so cute. Louise was a lovely hostess and Terry cooked an amazing dinner and breakfast. I think it has been the highlight of our stay in Scotland.

I dont think that anything could have been better, we were extremely happy. Well done!

The drive there. The location. The accommodation. The room. The View. The host. The food. The cats! This place is a real gem. Lovely stay, would have enjoyed staying for longer, like forever!

Nothing not to like about the place. everything was great, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Didn't like having to leave, if that counts! Would definitely revisit.

Great location overlooking Loch Ness. The view would be difficult to beat. Terry produced an excellent menu which meant we ate there each night rather than look for somewhere in the town. Small but well stocked bar. Whiskey anyone? Just a great retreat for us city slickers.

Nothing to pick fault with.

Beautiful scenery and view of the loch, the rooms were clean, well decorated and spacious. The little touches like a hairdryer in the room were great. There are beatutiful friendly cats that love attention which for us was wonderful. The food on the menu was fantastic with lots of choices.

tea and coffee was very basic but perfectly adequate, the staff seemed very busy so didn’t have much time to interact.
