Thank you so much for an excellent stay. The room was perfect and everything you could possibly need provided. Stacey at reception was amazing. It was vey busy when we arrived but she was warm , efficient and made sure we had adjoining rooms adding to the quality of our stay. Throughout our stay she couldn’t be more helpful and made our stay perfect

As soon as we entered the hotel we noticed how lovely it smelled. I can honestly say I’ve never noticed this about an hotel before, but it really was inviting. The staff was very welcoming, although I wasn’t given my rewards card for the restaurant discount, I did have to chase that up. The food was amazing in the hotel restaurant, we also had room service which wasn’t as nice. The breakfast, which is included in with the price of the room was superb. I had poached egg on toast cooked for me, and to perfection. My son had the buffet breakfast which he enjoyed. The breakfast room manager was lovely, he had good football banter with my son, and then offered him pancakes free of charge, which he accepted and said was epic! The staff really do go the extra mine to help make your stay perfect, and it really does show. The hotel is currently going through renovations, this did not upset our stay at all. Aside from one lift and spa being out of operation, you really couldn’t tell. The room is spacious, very clean and has everything you need - kettle, fridge, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, cotton buds, shower gel, shampoo & separate conditioner. The towels are very large, and super soft. The best thing about our room was the view of the city, we kept the curtains open at night with the view being so pretty. We literally walked out of the station, crossed the road and the hotel was right in front of us. Not even a minute walk.

The bed was a tad harder than what I’m used to, it’s a person preference and this didn’t spoil my sleep.

Staff were lovely from the moment we walked through the doors. Our room got upgraded and we were given some free drinks at the bar for my birthday which was a lovely gesture. The rooms are big, clean and have everything you need. Tv/WiFi works brilliantly. Bed is super comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, loads to choose from and cooked well. Location is idea as its right next to central station, shop directly across the road and plenty of bus links.

The room door didn't have a deadlock, it was either broken or removed. I should have spoken to staff but didn't actually realise until late at night so that's on me. Lifts aren't card activated so anyone can use them. As a solo female, I prefer these two things. (First one I could most likely have resolved if I noticed sooner)

As expected, from start to finish, everything was exceptional. Reception staff were great, ambiance was great, food was superb, room was spacious, furnished well, fantastic ensuite, very comfortable bed an plenty of extras such as iron, suitcase stand, hangers, bathrobes, kettle & coffee machine, biscuits and bottled water. Faultless! (PS - ice machine in the corridor as well!!)

Hardly like to comment here as its not a complaint! Refurbishment is underway - the bar area was quite chilly, but no doubt this will be rectified. Meal was delayed, but what-ho, with a drink on the house, who's for complaining!! :-)

Lovely spacious room, very quiet and really clean. Great decor lots of room to sit including a small table and chairs, plenty floor space for our suitcase/shopping without having to trip over it all. We stayed in three hotels throughout our trip to Glasgow, including a very posh one in the west end, this was definitely the best. Walking distance to Buchanan Galleries and all the other shops, so a very convenient location as well.

Check in could have been quicker, it was a busy Saturday evening at 5pm and only two desks out of three were open, one being priority which narrowed down the speed and client movement considerably, fast track is great at the Airport due to volume however in a Hotel environment I think it is not really necessary . Very nice lady on reception however she appeared to be having the lions share. Might be prudent to have more desks open at peak times, not for me to micro manage, but just a customer’s perception. However this did not detract from the overall experience.

Everything at the hotel was great. Hannah on reception was very helpful and friendly. Other reception staff were helpful too. We had a lovely few days. Our room was spacious, plenty of tea and coffee, and the bathroom had lovely towels and plenty of shampoo, conditioner and bath wash. My husband enjoyed the breakfast each morning and I had a good choice being gluten and lactose free. The breakfast staff were very helpful. Our evening meals in the hotel were enjoyable too, with helpful staff. Work was being carried out at the hotel but this didn't affect our stay. We were told about it before arriving. We would return for another stay when in Glasgow.

Everything was fine.

Breakfast fantastic fresh choices - I had the porridge it was so creamy delicious, the room was huge really high standard excellent value, bed I don't think I moved once I was in it, crisp clean bedding so comfortable. Excellent customer service.

There was not anything, great location excellent customer service on from all departments, we had hired a meeting room with exceptionally comfortable chairs, really well set up for businesses. We all work in the tourism sector this was an excellent set up, you are clearly focused on your customer experience.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, facilities were great - would have been even better if there had been a coffee machine in room and more than 2 sachets of coffee! Loved the fact there were even wine glasses in the room, room was spacious and comfy

Breakfast was a bit haphazard - no-one on the door to take our room number or advise us where to go - had to find someone in order to order coffee as no self service, same with toast.

Rooms were comfy and clean

I had my disabled parents with us and specifically asked where car park was.i paid extra as was informed at back of hotel. Should be more specific and understand it's a distance for disability Secondly we had meal in bar as restaurant closed Saturday night. We had a meal and several drinks. Service was not best as waiting for drinks ordered pudding didn't come but got charged. They did take it off bill then I was amazed that on top of bill was 40 pound of charges because of service and vat which i only just noticed.. We were not asked how service was or did I see a service charge at 20%, which could be added.

The central location was great, a five minute walk from the train station. The staff was friendly, and the food in the restaurant was AMAZING. We were so impressed the first night that we went back for dinner the following night, and our waitress was great (and kids eat free!). There is even a Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop right outside the hotel. Overall, Glasgow was a super friendly city, and the hotel went above my expectations for a last-minute stop. We were put into a newly renovated family room that was spacious and comfortable.

The only thing that wasn't ideal was the renovation construction; however, it was not inconvenient.
