It was super nice, the service staff was very kind, respectful, elegant, they treated us as if we were kings, very sweet, the food was delicious, we tried different things and everything was exquisite. The room was divine, super clean, super comfortable, warm in the winter, we had a tub and I took a relaxing and wonderful bath, no noise from anywhere, the exterior as well as the interior of the hotel are impressive, the coctels are sublime, this time I was only going for one night, but I am looking forward to stay here again, I think it has been the best stay of my life, it was very romantic, very nice, it is close to everything, very good location, facilities and super friendly staff, my partner and I loved it.
I loved everything. No complains.

Room size and comfort was great. Our room was not in the main hotel, but beside the car patk. but fortunately the weather was good for the walk to the restaurant. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, although they kept trying to put us in the deserted lounge: maybe because we had a guide dog with us, but we insisted n being in the dining room. The account was relentlessly inaccurate: - at dinner we were not initially charged for wine - at checkout we had not been charged for either breakfast but these errors were rectified (with a consequent £70 increase from the initial bil) when we pointed them out

This hotel was a treat; it is beautiful and people are so kind. We enjoyed the large high celing room and the feel of staying in a luxury castle. We loved our stay and highly recommnd it to all.
the breakfast was expensive so we decided not to have it. I think the hotels should encourage guests to have the breakfast and the way they can do this is by offering it at reasonable prices.

Spacious room (22) and parking right outside the cottage room for my mum who has mobility difficulties. Comfy beds Cosy
Quite a few stairs up to the actual hotel meant I didn't take mum in to the main hotel. We only stayed one night to visit my daughter so we ate out in the evening and for breakfast so it didn't matter too much. It would be lovely inside though for those not concerned by stairs.

The traditional style of the hotel is fantastic, makes for a really special stay. Evening meal food was excellent. The location is brilliant. Staff and service were great. Room was comfortable and clean.
The cost of the breakfast was very expensive, no square sausage either therefore not a Scottish breakfast. We also had some issues with the accessible room, if you require this room check that the facilities meet your needs, it's not as accessible as it should be.

Location was convenient for my itinerary, I saw a part of Glasgow I was unfamiliar with, and found it very attractive. The look and ambiance of the Hotel was pleasing and the staff were attentive. The room was large, comfortable and had a reasonable view. I arrived early and was kindly allowed into my room ahead of the advertised booking in time.
The shower was mediocre and the bathroom furniture was tired (loose toilet seat with missing elements). The coffee machine in the room (nice touch) leaked badly. I would come back to this hotel, but the price point would need to be more competitive, or the standard room equipment updated.

Very comfortable & cosy. Exceptional staff in dining room, very helpfull and caring. Room spacious and nice view of small green garden below with fully glazed terrace window (does not open).
Base of bathroom shower needs attention as silicon seal in room 35 is broken showing a gaping hole also shower control knob seems to be knackered. Not many car park spaces and is tight, still not too bothered, just an observation.

The castle was very pretty. The staff from the reception desk to the Waite staff at the restaurant were all friendly and great at their jobs. The food for dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. Very close to rail station which was great for going into Glasgow. So fast and convenient!!
I wish we knew before we sat down for breakfast one morning what the only 2 options were because they were very expensive for what you got. Ask to see menus before you go in, then decide.

This was our favorite property during our visit (we stayed at three others in various locations). It’s beautiful, striking and historic in appearance. It had everything we needed, and the bar and restaurant were top-notch. The food was exceptional. Located only a block or so from the Tram lines, it was quite easy to get into downtown Glasgow. We did a Hop On Hop Off bus tour from there to visit various scenic and historical locations around Glasgow, before catching the train back to Sherbrooke Castle Hotel. The room was quiet and comfortable, and we were able to get quality rest.
There was nothing we didn’t like. Just a word-to-the-wise note: The property is not handicapped accessible. There are stairs. There is no elevator. This was not a problem for us, however it is a consideration to be aware of.

Loved the decor and ambience of the hotel. Room was great and our bed later and comfortable.
Travel cot mattress for little one was really hard and had to put pillows on top to make more comfortable. Bit tricky access with a buggy. Husband’s poached fish at breakfast was not very nice although he was offered an alternative.
