I had a really nice stay at this hotel. I really want to say how welcome I was made to feel. The people who run it are really nice and friendly and helped me a lot with things like drying out clothes that got wet, arranging early breakfasts, lots of things. I will definitely go back. it is a very interesting historical listed building, In a good location, interesting town. The breakfast was really really good. Comfortable, historical, really helpful people. Really great!!!

We stayed one night at The Red House. Checkin isn’t until 4 pm but this is because the owner Estella does all the changeovers herself. The room and bathroom was immaculate and Estella greeted us warmly… what a lovely hard working lady she is! We slept like logs on a very comfortable bed in room 1 which did front onto a busy at times road but the noise was only minimal. The property is in walking distance to Grantham centre.

Beautiful period property! We arrived early and Estella was helpful and let us have the room to get ready in for the wedding we were attending. The room was clean bright and had coffe tea and bottles of water . Although it was not on suit we had a private bathroom and this worked really well. There was shower gel… shampoo… conditioner too! We enjoyed a sound nights sleep! Breakfast was plentiful! Range of cereals.. yoghurts and made to order hot food. Estella was a lovely host! And the general man who was cleaning the room was friendly and welcoming. All in all… a gem! We would definitely stay again. Thank you! Tina and Adrian

We are pork free but there were no alternatives such as chicken/ turkey / vegetarian sausages.

The B&B was easy to find on the main street. Very Warm and friendly host. Lovely clean warm room with a kettle and tea/coffee sachets and a pkt of biscuits. The shower was lovely and hot and didn't lose pressure at all. It provides breakfast, but unfortunately i didn't have it due to going to work early... I would definitely stay here again when I'm working at the hospital...🙂

Not didn't like, if i have to say what i would prefer, i would like the shower room a bit bigger, as it was a tight squeeze. (Understandable though to fit in the room) and I'm claustrophobic so maybe it was just me !!! 😊

The staff were nice and friendly, it was easy to get into, cheap, good size room. It's a short walk from the train station or £4 taxi ride. The bed was comfy enough.

The room I was in was close to the road and I heard traffic noise that woke me up. The bathroom I was in had many stairs, it wouldn't have been wheelchair accessible and as a clumsy person I had to watch where I was stepping.

I stayed at the Red Rooms for 12 nights for studies. Estella my host, was the loveliest, and most accomodoting host. My room was cleaned daily, and nothing seemed to much to ask whilst completing my medical examinations. highly recommend. I will be back.

Perfect for a simple overnight stay for work, comfy, clean, a charming old building (far more interesting than a Travelodge!) & a great central location.

This is a prime example of a 'first world problem' - but the TV wasn't a smart TV, so I watched Netflix on my work laptop instead. Only a (very) minor inconvenience!

The Red House itself was a lovely listed building, that always makes things a little quirky, which we liked! Lovely, clean room with the private bathroom a short 2 steps across the landing. Our host was a lovely lady who cooked a great breakfast.

There was nothing to not like really, we were there for 2 nights for a wedding nearby and it provided a good base for that. Everything was to a good standard with friendly people.

Well situated for Grantham Town centre. It made eating out in the evening an easy walking distance. The Red House isn't boutique style but this is reflected in the price. However there is a friendly greeting on arrival, the room was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay again if we are in the Grantham area

Some might find the traffic an issue as the Red House is on the main road into town but this does go quiet during the night so wasn't a problem for us. We still had a good night's sleep.

The location was ideal for Grantham with all its shops, eateries and historical centre, and for Belton House. Amy (our host) was very welcoming and friendly, and she cooked us an amazing full English breakfast. The room was warm and comfortable, enjoying its own shower room and all the facilities expected. We were happy with every aspect of our stay.
