I loved my stay and my room was perfect for the price I paid. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere of the place was perfect. The restaurant was lovely and the food was amazing and so was breakfast, atmosphere was lovely. Surrounding area was perfect for a walk to the beach and up the nature trial. I really loved my stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Aberlady.

Only issue I had was not being able to sleep for a while, with the guests above me.as their was alot of noise, and this was about 1 am. Knowing I would be up early to get breakfast then check out.

Excellent location. Lovely little town. Staff, room and food all excellent. Waitrose opposite for the day's sandwiches. We only stayed one night as we were continuing our tour but would have been happy to stay longer.

Not a negative. Hotel is popular for golfers so my wife was only lady at one point but would still recommend the hotel for all the other plus'.

The atmosphere was superb and the staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. The owners were super friendly and very happy to chat to us. We had a wonderful stay and honestly cant wait to go back.

Ducks is in a great location and has nice rooms. The bar and restaurant are lively and fun. BA lost my clubs for several days and I needed a golf bag quickly to make a tee time. Malcolm produced one within a few minutes and let me borrow it as long as I needed it. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. There is a good amount of parking in the back and I was always able to get a space. I highly recommend.

Got character. Good location with off street parking. Quiet. Food very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Room a bit small and very old fashioned. Really needs modernising. Quite pricey. Door lock difficult to open.

We had a large, comfortable, downstairs room with easy access to car park which was handy with two dogs in tow. Room and bathroom were clean and the shower was great; lovely big towels too. Breakfast was very tasty but veggie options were somewhat limited. Hotel restaurant offers an à la carte selection as well as budget menu. Food was excellent and the wine menu was surprisingly extensive to suit all budgets. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and it's certainly a popular venue for golfers and tourists alike.

Bedroom door was on a sprung hinge which tended to slam shut and couldn't really be closed manually. Bedroom window faced the courtyard which didn't offer much privacy. Access to the car park was quite narrow; thank goodness for self-folding wing mirrors!

Breakfast was superb. All the meals were truly excellent

There could have been a lift. The lady receptionist took our heavy cases up to the top of the stairs. She went well beyond expectations

Room and bathroom upgrades are lovely, nice and quiet location also breakfast service and food spot on

Car park entrance a bit tight but ok if u take ur time

All the people who worked in the hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful. Great customer service. The restaurant had a warm and cosy ambiance, which was comfortable for both breakfast and dinner. The dinner menu was varied and the food was delicious.

Staff were excellent especially in the dining room at night. Good bus service to Edinburgh and North Berwick

Little design issues such as shelf on bathroom mirror - why not on the wall below the mirror!?
