The BnB is so lovely! The room was very spacious but still cozy and the whole place makes you feel right at home. The breakfast is super delicious and you can get warm food every day. Tim is a fabulous host, super friendly and always up for a conversation and full of recommendations on what to do and see. I would always go back there when staying in the Belfast area. It’s the perfect space for a stay when you don’t want to be in the centre of Belfast.

I like the large bedroom and the fact that the bathroom was not directly off the bedroom but off the small corridor leading to the bedroom. I also liked the french window opening onto the garden, and the heavy curtains that kept out the light. The bathroom had both a shower cubicle and a separate bathtub, which was nice.

The pillows were too high for me, but this is unfortunately very usual. I managed to sleep however by folding a large towel and putting it in one of the pillowcases. I didn't mind it beng somewhat hard.

We where attending an event nearby and only found this accommodation by chance 5 days prior on booking.com. Prior to arrival we were running late and Tim sent an informative message regarding check-in in his absence. The service and hospitality received during our 1 night stay was excellent. The breakfast was cooked from fresh and tasted better than any hotel we've stayed in.... in a very long time if ever. Will defiantly be booking again. Thanks to Tim and his team. x

The house is lovely and very tastefully decorated. We arrived early just to drop off our luggage but Tim invited us to stay for coffee or tea and biscuits, giving us a chance to catch our breath and chat a bit with Tim. Our room was spacious with a view of the garden and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We were able to drive to a nearby metro and get into Belfast in 20 minutes with the bother of driving a car around a big city (and on the other side of the road).

Beautiful location, amazingly quiet and just a short downhill walk to the estuary with a wonderful walk along the front to Cultra station to train into Belfast. Tim was a wonderful host, a great character who knows how to rustle up a mean and very filling Ulster breakfast. Our room was beautiful, very roomy, clean with a lovely big bed and good size bathroom. Claire and i will be back ❤️

Believe me…there is nothing you will find to not like !!

The warm welcome from the host..The standard of the accommodation.. It is a stunning house, well furnished and spotless. Felt very relaxed there and at home as we could make ourselves cups of tea and the children could help themselves to chocolate biscuits. The host was very helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do. Very much enjoyed chatting to the host, who was a kind, humorous person who was interesting and genuinely interested in us. Holywood was a good location with Belfast only 10 or 15 minutes away by car. The coastal town of Bangor was 15 minutes south with fishing and seaside.. The Folk Museum was within walking distance and was well worth a visit. You could have walked into town, which had an ample supply of restaurants, but was easier to travel to by car or.grab a short taxi journey. Gweebarra deserves its reputation as one of the best B&B in Belfast's suburbs.

It would have been nice if we could have walked to the restaurants and bars from the accommodation.

Despite some difficulty with a freeway incident, making access to the property a challenge, Tim the host was enthusiastic, welcoming and as helpful as possible. The room was a delight and the position of the property, the area in which it was based, was terrific, consistent with the other Hollywood! Good internet coverage

The size of the TV was a little inconsistent with the rest of the "package"; that is, huge bed, spacious room, great bathroom, good support facilities, 20" TV

Gweebarra is set in a lovely tranquil location. Very easy to find too. Tim is so very welcoming and such a lovely host. The house is beautiful, our room was perfect and we had a great sleep. We were up very early as we were catching the ferry but Tim showed us where we could help ourselves to breakfast before we left. Everything has been thought of and we were more than grateful to find bottles of water in our room, it’s little touches like that that make your stay perfect. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Gweebarra B&B and will definitely return.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Tim was the best host ever!!! I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Gweeberra. Tim has a lovely home with spacious bedrooms and a beautiful breakfast. But, most of all Tim took us in and made us feel extraordinarily welcome. We arrived late in the day and he made sure the local restaurant had a table for us and even drove us over when it appeared the taxi might not arrive in time. Thank you Tim! I do hope to return someday. Do not miss this gem!!!

Gweebarra is in a stunning location on a leafy property a short walk from Belfast Lough. You can walk for miles along the lough if that's your thing. The owner was professional, friendly and very generous, making me feel extremely welcome and when my mother came to meet me at the property the following morning, he even offered her breakfast. How kind! The room itself was clean and comfortable with a door that opened out onto the garden, which would have been a perfect place to sit if the weather had been a few degrees warmer. As it was, I chose the miles along the waterfront. Highly recommended.
