Lovely big room with huge, comfortable bed, we slept so well. Huge en-suite with bath/shower and complimentary shower gel/shampoo etc. All spotlessly clean. Tea,coffee, water & biscuits also provided. The whole village had a power cut around 6.30pm and to see how the staff pulled together to ensure guests were looked after was incredible. They were able cook fish & chips which we had & it was absolutely delicious & candles were brought to our table ❤️ To top the night off they had an open mic night and the musicians all did acoustically. WOW!! They were all so talented! A brilliant stay! The most amazing staff & the full English breakfast this morning was fantastic!! Thank you so much 😊

Enjoyed a lovely stay here. Whilst there's no immediate parking outside the Wayfarer Inn, they do have permits for a cricket club 10 minutes walk up the road. The pub underneath the room was small but comfortable, nice range of food, lovely large portion meals and the breakfast was great too. The venue is also pet friendly. On the whole, it was a nice comfortable, spacious and a pleasant stay. The staff were great and welcoming. Lovely beach just seconds away from the Wayfarer Inn. Would come back.
The room could do with a little bit of maintenance to address shower mould and a broken bath panel but these were really minor issues.

we had some specific needs - secure bike storage, early-ish breakfast and twin room and the friendly staff helped with all these, so we had a great start to our coast to coast bike trip. We had a great evening meal in the atmospheric bar and the breakfast was a proper full English. Great to be able to walk on the nearby beach.
No real issues, but wi-fi could have been better. I slept well but could be worth bringing an eye mask as there was a green safety light that might be a problem for light sleepers

I have just returned from a two night stay at this lovely friendly Inn with my two sisters. All the staff were great during our stay especially the young girl who checked us in (Neve), she was extremely welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Room was clean, comfortable and warm. Food at breakfast and evening meal fabulous. The staff and locals were so friendly, it's like one big family. We got to see some live music on the Saturday evening which was so much fun too. I would recommend this accomodation highly to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

This was supposed to be the first stop we had in England but due to a serious flight delay we were late a day getting here. The Wayfair Inn honored our original booking and I am very happy they did. We had a relaxing day walking the beach and dined in for their Sunday Supper which was ridiculously good. It was open mic night so there was even live music. We could not have felt more welcomed in England.
No complaints, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Everything. Room excellent, bed very comfortable, We could choose our breakfast depending on what our plans were for the rest of the day. Owners and staff and very welcoming. Had many long chats. Also ate a lunch and a dinner in hotel. Very good menu.
The bathroom was a bit compact but functional. Very steep stairs. This is an old building which has been adapted to modern expectations and these minor inconveniences would not stop us staying there again. Hasn't lost it's character. Also car parking was a bit of a faff having to park so far away but what can you expect with the narrow streets and high property prices.

The staff were absolutely fantastic! So happy, friendly & willing to help at every opportunity! The room was immaculate with everything we could need! The food served in the bar and for breakfast was absolutely fantastic too-probably the best I’ve ever had! These following things didn’t detract from our stay at all… but are things maybe people should be aware of.. The attic stairs to our were room were steep.. we managed ok and Staff did offer to carry our bags up! So no problem for us. Car parking is at a premium locally. It is agreed that residents can park nearby, but it is a 10 min walk.. we were fine but some less able may struggle or in wet weather would not be ideal.
Can’t think of anything!!

Location was right near the sea ,our favourite!Couldn't ask for a better sight especially to see a beautiful sunset👍👍 Good food at breakfast and for our evening meal without being over expensive. Room was spacious.
The bed could do with updating with new mattress. The shower, although efficient needed a new more flexible hose, and is also a bit small. Needed a shelf for soaps, not easy picking up off the floor. No shelf space in bathroom for toilet bags. There is an emergency light on the ceiling with a very bright(in the dark) green marker light which looks like aliens have landed! Makes it difficult to sleep.

As Dog owners the Wayfarer was in a fabulous location, everywhere was dog friendly, the staff were really lovely and friendly, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, room was spacious and very clean, good choice of food and plenty of it, would recommend especially for dog families.
mattress was a bit tired on one side of bed, (hubby,s side !!) and i would have liked my toast to have with marmalade put on a separate plate and not put on the same plate as my cooked breakfast. stairs to room quite steep but nothing you can do about that, old age and dicky knees in my case.!!

The staff are so lovely at this place. It’s our 3rd year staying here on our way to Cornwall and we have booked again for next year. We got a lovely welcoming hug from one of the bar ladies who recognised us instantly. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. The roast dinner is second to none. The veg in particular reminded me of my Irish mothers cooking. Breakfast was included in the price and was huge and of high quality, with the offer of another coffee and more toast. My kids had the pancakes and loved them. This place really feels so welcoming and we always look forward to our stay here. We have yet to be let down by the food and staff. Really happy to recommend to anyone that wants a no fuss but very comfortable and clean place to stay.
Nothing.
