We really enjoyed our stay at the Karma St Martins. The location is lovely right beside the beach and next to one of the quays on the island. The staff were so friendly and helpful, which really made the stay. The hotel organised boat trips to the other off islands, which was really useful. The food was excellent as well.

Our room was a little noisy because we were in a family room with an adjoining door. The decor was a little dated, but otherwise, we found the room to be comfortable and very clean.

The staff at Karma St Martin's are absolutely brilliant, they are efficient but friendly and take the time to talk to guests. From being met on the quay to sorting out all your departure arrangements to great food and service, a stunning location and a beautiful room, we were delighted with our stay. Bea and Zoe in the bar and restaurant and Shalom on Reception were particularly noteworthy.

Charging for biscuits seemed a bit steep. Food is quite expensive but the quality is consistently high.

Expensive , rooms quite small even when upgraded . Object to paying £2 for biscuits in room . Found that quite insulting . Rooms were not cheap and complimentary biscuits should be a basic given . I could understand if they were homemade but they weren’t . Trivial maybe , but we felt that the £££ were at the forefront of the chain operation .

Beautiful location with warm, friendly staff who went out of their way to put us at ease. It was expensive - we travelled as a family of 4 so stayed in a family suite for one night only - but it did feel like a real treat for our first visit to the Scilly Isles (and hopefully not our last!). Loved the little touches like outdoor games such as croquet you could help yourselves to and the welcome drink on the terrace. And in the restaurant was a vinyl record player, wine tasting machine and plenty of books and games. The sunset view from the lounge terrace was just beautiful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious.

Loved it all, just wished we could have stayed longer. Would have been nice if our room had a view but then there were stunning views all over the hotel.

What a fantastic experience. This was a trip booked 2 years ago for April 2020 and had to be moved twice. Both times the bookings were transferred the booking team were very accommodating. Finally made it in April 2022 and it exceeded expectations, the location and setting just idyllic and the whole team from arrival to check out were faultless, exceptional hospitality and you could have a laugh with them too! And the best view from a hotel room I have ever had! I wish we had booked for longer, but that just means will definitely return :) Thank you Scott and the Karma St Martin's team 👍🏖

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We took our dogs with us and everyone welcomed them. Special areas were put aside for dogs so they didn’t inconvenience people without dogs/ allergic or didn’t like them. Fantastic location for a relaxing holiday. St Martins is a beautiful place with more amenities on neighbouring islands, a boat ride away. That said we had no need to go elsewhere.

The spa was closed. It would’ve been nice to be able to have a few treatments. Other spas were recommended by the staff but I didn’t want to travel.

The location of the hotel was fantastic - providing a beach island feel, yet only an hour's flight from Exeter. Everything was perfect for beach days with good weather; staff were attentive and considerate; restaurant was great.

The Spa wasn't open and we were not informed prior to our stay, nor on arrival. The hotel could benefit from the indoor having more atmosphere. Cosy sofa areas would help provide a lounge chillout feel for cold and rainy days. Appreciate that's personal preference!

The setting was stunning! The staff super helpful. The food was great and it was spotlessly clean. The area was also interesting and very beautiful

Maybe the menu could have been a tiny but more varied?
