This was one of the most prettiest rooms I have stayed in. Extremely comfortable and worth every penny. I had not realised that there was an equestrian centre onside and that I vould have taken some riding lessons. The establishment is just a two minute walk to the restaurant of ' The inn on the Loch' where we had the most fantastic value Scottish meal that we have had in our trip around Scotland. What a great find this B &B and the restaurant deserved a 10 out of 10 as well. Will return here again to both these places. The staff were exceptional.

I absolutely love this b&b. The location was idyllic and so peaceful despite being on a busy road. The staff are absolutely brilliant and very accommodating, they really make you feel so welcome. The rooms are fantastic! Excellently sized and well facilitated. The bed was super comfy and the added bonus of an electric heater in the room was a big plus for someone like me who is always freezing. There is a wide variety of options to choose from for breakfast and everything is well presented and tasty. The entire process from booking to check in was very smooth and efficient. The public spaces are immaculate and so beautifully decorated.

I'm only deducting one small point for my expired cereal this morning. Easily resolved, I just got a different one. Otherwise, I cannot fault this accommodation.

Fabulous greeting, lovely staff and the owner Maureen was just the perfect hostess offering me a drink on arrival. The location was perfect too just off the main road and within easy walking of the local eatery. It is very close to the Lanark Moor country park which I had a lovely walk around in the evening on my way back from the pub. I was upgraded to a twin room even though I was alone so this room was perfect with a little more space. The breakfast was superb, freshly cooked to order which I much prefer in a hotel.

Check in very quick, my key and room information was in reception. Comfortable room and bed. A very quiet hotel. Breakfast ordered the night before but freshly cooked. Breakfast menu varied and includes traditional British and continental. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I've stayed at the Scottish Equi several times and will do so again when I am in the area. The location was ideal for my work being within 15 minutes of the office. Given its' name the Equi is for people who love horses and there is a large stable and riding school on site.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially in the dining room. The continental breakfast I chose to have, was good with plenty fruit and yoghurt available.

I have stayed here before so I knew of minor issues. There needs to be a handrail by the entrance area steps and access slope. The slope feels spongy and insecure so is difficult for people with even minor Mobility problems. However, I still prefer to stay in this lovely place. Instructions for TV would be useful.

It was fun being surrounded by the grounds and stables of the riding club. There were people coming to enjoy their rides and we could share their enjoyment. The staff were all excellent - friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Our room was good value for money - comfortable, clean, quiet.

An apple phone did not get along with the wifi. Not the hotel itself, but ... we had trouble finding dinner in the nearest town as we returned from a day out; perhaps it was late by local standards although not late :o) We got some snacks at a grocery store to tide us over - but then we got to eat the cherry pie at the lovely little lake adjacent to the b and b, so that was O.K.. Oh yes, I should add, dinner by the lake was excellent on our first night, so our mistake was to not make reservations for the second evening!

My key at room info were on the desk at reception along with a breakfast proforma. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and bed with tea and coffee. Breakfast was freshly cooked and most satisfying. I've stayed at the Equi several times and will do so again if I am in the area of New Lanark. The Equi is based on a riding school - I did not avail myself of there services - but it would be ideal for those who are looking for a riding holiday

This hotel is fabulous! I often take little trips away, staying in various different hotels etc and this is definitely one of the best I've been in. I received a very warm welcome from the lady who owned it and was extremely helpful in showing me to my room personally which was a lovely touch. The room itself was gorgeous, really felt very luxurious and spacious. Overall, it was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel itself was set on beautiful grounds with an adjoining equestrian centre and only a 20 minute walk from local amenities. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, service was on point and there were several options to choose from. I had the pancake stack and these were delicious. I only stayed one night but I felt well looked after and it was like a home from home experience. If I was ever to find myself in Lanark again, this would be the only place I would stay. Great hotel and amazing hosts.

Only a couple of minor gripes. The shower cubicle was very small but luckily I don't take up much room. The door didn't close properly which resulted in a bit of a leak and the water pressure was slightly lacking but there's not a great deal that can be done about that I don't think. I actually hate to mention anything negative because my stay was not too far from perfect.

Room was very pleasant very clean and comfortable, unfortunately never made it breakfast which was disappointing as the reviews and photos it looked amazing, however may make another trip here in the future

Had a time to wait at reception to check in unstaffed , rang bell a few times called number took few attempts to get through, but were prompt once contact was made

A good place to stay if exploring the Clyde valley , comfortable rooms and heating that can be turned on in summer , a bonus with this summer. Normally not required .Lovely outside sitting area , unfortunately due to this wet and cool season we did not have much time to use Substantial breakfast with plenty extras.Staff extremely pleasant ..
