Modern, bright room which appeared very clean, with no trace of dog - hotels should be people friendly, not dog friendly. Windows opened for fresh air. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

We initially found ourselves in a room with disabled facilities, but the manager resolved the issue while we had dinner. Would prefer windows to open further. Breakfast a little limited if you like fruit and natural yoghurt.

Every hotel needs a Louise, friendly, smiling, helpful and efficient. Everything the reception/ front of house should be. We asked and received a room with a walk in shower, a good size room and comfy bed. All the food was excellent, breakfasts, dinners and the one lunch we had. All the staff were friendly and polite, the manager Aleksander, and the owners have a lot to be proud of. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Slight gripe, our room was very warm at night, but that's all.

The whole team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and professional. I appreciated the quality of the tasteful decoration of the room and the hotel in general. The bed was also very comfortable, allowing me to have a great night's rest away from home. Another highlight was the restaurant where I enjoyed a delicious meal and more elegant service.

Nothing really to complain about... Perhaps a Nespresso machine would also be nice in the room instead of only a kettle (I stayed in the Pendle suite).

Clean spacious room and the staff where very friendly

No breakfast included in the booking especially for the large amount paid for the two nights, I even specified I was a groomsmen at the wedding and got told there was a note made but nothing come from it. I originally called direct to the hotel but no discount for being part of the wedding party was offered so went ahead and booked via booking.com. The others on the wedding party paid the sane amount yet had a breakfast included!

The new restaurant was fabulous with its contemporary tropical decor. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection. The fish was fresh and flakey. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Restaurant service was excellent. My room had a great view of the golf course. The bed was very comfortable. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. The room was very clean. You need to bring your own flannel as these are not provided in the bathroom.

Great location, excellent facilities. The rooms are bright, spacious and very well maintained, modern and comfortable public areas. The breakfast is very good, we also had dinner on both nights in the lounge bar which was well cooked and plentiful. All the staff were helpful friendly and very welcoming. Without doubt they would be my number one reason for returning which we plan to do next year.

Very clean - always the most important factor. modern and comfortable interiors and bedrooms but a traditional/period look from outside. A good outdoor sitting area, great while the weather has been good. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Bar/lounge areas nice and they do a good line in cocktails. Bed was huge and comfortable, bathroom clean and modern. really good, freshly cooked breakfasts and a good selection on the menu.

Only a small detail but the bathroom light comes on automatically when entering which is not great if you need the loo during the night. could do with low level lighting for during the night.

Tastefully decorated hotel in a beautiful location. We ate our meals in the bar area as we were travelling with our dog, the staff were very friendly and very attentive towards our dog providing a water bowl and biscuits for her. The dinner and breakfast were delicious with a great choice of menu options.

One of the room's was particularly hot, my husband tried to decrease the temperature however the thermometer wouldn't go below 20 degrees.

very easy to find. lovely setting. lots of quirky accessories dotted about and gorgeous floral displays. huge bed and accessible bathroom. delicious breakfast too. had obviously been recently refurbished. phone charging points in the headboard along with reading light.

took us a while to work out how the reading lights worked but they simply turned on when you pulled them out at an angle.

Modern hotel just outside of Whalley and Lang. short drive away from both Blackburn and Clitheroe. Was a farm but now a modern hotel set back from the main road (so very quiet), with a golf course and function rooms. Clearly set up to cater for weddings and big social occasions as they have a specific function room set apart from the main hotel and well away from the bedrooms. The bar is warm and has a great selection of cocktails along with the usual fair. Breakfast if plentiful and very good.Worth the money and you won't need lunch! hotel has a couple of EV chargers which are useful for me!
