I booked this room for my friend who is a musician and was playing for a wedding in a place nearby. He thought the staff were very nice and the location was absolutely perfect as he only had to walk for 10 minutes. It was a great place to spend the night and there are buses that go straight to Glasgow.

Again, it was only a 1 night stay and in specific circumstances. He only mentioned he would've liked to be able to choose the check out later.

Good value for money, comfortable and clean accommodation. Included breakfast was perfectly adequate for our needs with a selection of cereals, yoghurts, breakfast bars, croissants and fresh fruit as well as tea and coffee on a help yourself basis. We arrived on a cold January night during a storm so were very pleased the room was nice and warm.

Could not find any real faults.

A very good sized room, which was immaculately clean. The bathroom in particular was finished to an extremely high standard. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The room smelt so fresh. Decent sized TV. A standard far exceeding Premier Inn, at roughly half the price.

No restaurant or bar, which I was already aware of when I booked. I don't think there was WiFi, I may be wrong....

What was there not to like... the staff were incredibly welcome, friendly, helpful and caring! Our room, well could not be faulted, clean, super comfy, bathroom was luxury. Food, wow the best black pudding my husband has had (and he's a farmer) the best pasta dish I have ever had (I had it 2 nights in a row). The way all staff interacted with my daughter was top notch! We will definitely be returning and this place is highly recommended!

I wasn't staying longer!

Easy and convenient for work, comfortable and just what I needed for a night’s rest before a busy day. Staff/Owner was friendly and polite and supplied all relevant information I needed.

The property was fit for purpose and had everything that I needed for a night Stay. There was Nothing I didn’t like about the property

There was a sign up in breakfast area asking for people to clear tables of rubbish don't think they can read left mess at there tables and left some people have so manners

There was a great welcome from the owner, Richard. He was prepared for my arrival and firstly ensured that my bicycle was housed safely. My room and ensuite bathroom were excellent and the bed was really comfortable! The evening meal and drinks choice in the bar were excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations with other residents and Richard in the dining room/bar. I would imagine that most cyclists and walkers would love to stay in places like this. An ideal location for me as it was on my chosen route between Lands End to John O'Groats with easy access to the cycle paths around/through Glasgow.

I had no issues whatsoever with this overnight stay. However, be aware that a cooked breakfast is not provided, but a grab and go bagged breakfast, including breakfast bars, fruit juice, water and fruit is available for collection from the fridge.

Location right off the motorway. Host was very friendly and gave us recommendations for dinner at nearby eateries. Rooms were cozy and the shower was spacious and had plenty of hot water.

Being close to the motorway noise pollution was an issue. Random honks from trucks woke us up on one occasion.

During my stay at the Old School House Hotel in Larkhall, I particularly liked the comfortable room, which made for a relaxing night. The receptionist's exceptional service was another highlight, as they were very accommodating and friendly, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Great place to stay over for 1 night, not many shops or entertainment around the hotel. Staff was very welcoming. Room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable.

I would appreciated more breakfast varieties. Unfortunately, due to my allergens, I wasn't able to eat most of the food available.
