Very cool, climatic place in a vibrant neighbourhood with lots of stuff to do. Arranged with care up to last details including a wide choice od tea/coffee, some snacks replenished daily. Cool furniture and even an USB radio. Great location, very close to the DLR and Greenwich attractions.
The hotel lacks proper reception, everything is done through the pub downstairs and at a certain time it just closes, so late checkouts may be problematic. Awkward entrance through the back door of the pub. The hotel is over the loud street so sometimes it is loud in the evenings, that may be cumbersome to some.

Because of the age & history of the building it was full of quirky spaces and original features which we found charming. The rooms are up at the top, some of them in the attic. Our room had old world charm, but with a modern bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the Cutty Sark which was lit up for Christmas when we were there. The location is fabulous sitting nicely between the river and the Royal Observatory. There is a gorgeous street market at the back full of lovely little stalls and shops. We were going to the O2 Arena and it was so easy to just jump on a bus there and back. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Loved this place!

Location was excellent: back door of the property opened onto the Market and it is very close to the DLR; however, it was quiet. New bathroom with usable shower. Room 7 was smallish but charming but low ceilings so anyone taller than average may struggle. Rooms 1-3 on the floor below are bigger.
Not a criticism but prospective guests need to know there’s a lot of stairs, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues: especially when carrying luggage.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the Admiral hardy. It was very straightforward communicating with them after the booking and the check in process was very straightforward. We had selected a king suite which happened to be right up at the top of the building. So a decent climb to the top but it was very doable. Our room was lovely and cozy, It was very nicely furnished with period furniture that was quaint but stylish without being naff. We had a nice north facing window with views of the cutty sark and the maritime college. Our en-suite was spacious and featured a lovely bath and rain shower. The subway tiles and silver fittings were very nicely done. The bathroom was spotless as was our room. Very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Fresh towels and our bed made every day. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft, though it was so warm in the summer we had the sheets kicked off for the most part. The fan in the room was very welcome to cool the space and pull in some fresh air. We didn't try out the pub/restaurant at the inn. Though we heard lots of good things about it, We'll have to try the fish and chips next time. For me what really made our stay was the location. Our room was wonderful to be in but it was an excellent base for our trip to London. The back door of the hotel opens into the Greenwich market so each morning we had an exciting breakfast, trying something new every day and had some beautiful coffee. We were only a few steps away from the DLR at Cutty Sark at Greenwich, which well connected us to the rest of the TFL network. And the pier at Greenwich (which I think people don't use enough!) is a fantastic way to get from one end of the city to the other. We were well served by pubs and restaurants nearby, as well as grocery shops and corner stores.
Not much! I was very happy with my stay. I would just say that the TV could be updated, would be nice to have a HDMI input so I can plug my laptop in to watch a movie. The bathroom was fantastic but could probably do with a little in-floor drain in the corner. The old building has uneven floors (which is completely understandable!) but It means that any water that escapes the shower ends up running down across the bathroom. We solved this issue with towels but it really wasn't a big deal. And we were provided with lovely fresh towels every day. We really were very happy with our stay

The location of Admiral Hardy was superb, right in the centre of Greenwich and all of the attractions right on your doorstep. As a solo traveller it was ideal for getting to all the places I wanted to be close to, it was very cosy and I felt very safe. The bed was very comfortable and more than enough tea, coffee, hot chocolate to keep a tea monster going. The accommodation was clean, quiet and has access to everything you need to enjoy your stay in Greenwich. I'll be coming back again in 2025.
There was nothing that required any improvement, it was perfect for what I needed from a break in Greenwich.

The room and comfy bed. The furniture and mirrors and decor. There was a fan on the wall, which was useful as it was quite a hot day. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was excellent. There were plenty of drinks and a kettle provided. The location was perfect not far from the tube station and other pubs and eateries, and the Maritime Museum Cutty Sark and Greenwich market was behind us. We came to visit my partners son, who lives further into Greenwich, but still a short walk away from where we were staying.
The only issue I had was the stairs, but that is because I have an issue with my right knee

The hotel location is wonderful right in the heart of Greenwich next to Greenwich Market. The staff were wonderfully helpful. Alex insisted on carrying one of our suitcases up to our room. The room was super cute and cozy on the top floor of the hotel overlooking the Cutty Sark and the Thames. It was extremely quiet. The bathroom looks like it was recently renovated in a beautiful modern motif. The room was extremely clean. We liked having the restaurant and bar on the ground level with a 10% discount on food and drinks.
The only issue with the property is that there is no lift which could be a problem for some travellers. We knew this in advance so it was not a surprise.

Very good location in Greenwich. Close to shops and transport. Lovely room. Very clean. Lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate in room, which is really appreciated
The traffic noise from the main street is surprisingly bad right through the night. Eases off at the weekend, but on weekdays, it is continuous. Secondary glazing or extra draftproofing would help.

The location was great, close to sites of interest, restaurants and transport links. The room was very clean, well stocked with tea coffee etc along with a fridge. It has a lovely old world charm so it combines functionality with old traditional setting and structure. The bed was comfortable with lovely crisp sheets. We had a view of the Cutty Sark which was nice. Would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to others.
It's not the cheapest place to stay but I feel the location and comfort compensated for that.

A 'gem' of a hotel, right in the centre of Greenwich. Very good links via London Underground, DLR and only 30 mins travelling time from central London. This is a lovely traditional hotel very close to all the local attractions like Cutty Sark and Royal Greenwich Observatory. Staff so welcoming, couldn't be more helpful and we loved spending a night at this hotel.
Having read previous reviews, we were aware there were no lifts so if mobility an issue, be prepared to climb a few stairs to your room. Also, we knew there was no breakfast facility but not a problem as lots of independent eateries, no more than five minutes walk away from hotel.
