Location: Absolute winner. Shoreditch is buzzing with life - great restaurants, quirky shops, and lively bars all around. I loved being able to walk to Bethnal Green tube station in just 2 minutes (Central line is a lifesaver). If you're up for a short walk, you've got Stepney Green and Whitechapel stations about 17 minutes away. I actually enjoyed hopping on the double-deckers for a more scenic route - great way to see the city! Room: I stayed in a premium queen room. It's small, I won't lie. Perfect for solo travelers, but with a partner might be a little too tight. If you're claustrophobic or need lots of space, you might struggle. The bed was comfy, and I appreciated the USB ports everywhere - no fighting over who gets to charge their phone! The small window faces a petrol station, so don't expect breathtaking views. If you're staying more than a few days, definitely spring for a room with a window. Bathroom: The rainfall shower was a treat after long days of exploring, and the mirror didn't fog up even after hot showers. They provide nice toiletries too, even moisturizer, which was a pleasant surprise. Tech: If you're an Apple user, you'll love the Apple TV setup. I enjoyed being able to log into my Netflix account. Just a heads up - the TV is mounted pretty high, so binge-watching might give you a crick in the neck. Cleanliness: Housekeeping came daily, and I always had fresh towels.

Cleanliness: Upper shelves needs to be dusted still. Doors:The walls are fine, but you can hear everything in the corridor. Light sleepers, bring earplugs. Also, it's a cashless hotel, so make sure you're comfortable with that. Food: Can't comment as I didn't try it. Too many tempting options in Shoreditch!

Brilliant stay! We were welcomed by staff as soon as we arrived and were given a wonderful upgrade and party balloons to celebrate a special birthday. Our entire stay, staff were friendly and professional and very helpful. Our room was very clean and the facilities were great - excellent shower and very comfortable bed. View from the window was decent too.

The only thing I wasn't too impressed by was being told we would need to pay for an hour later checkout. My partner was ill on our last day and we needed an extra hour to help him get ready and give him medicine. When asking staff for an extra hour I was promptly told that we would need to pay £40 for this - we chose to not do this, of course.

Staff was exceptionally cool and professional very adaptable and understanding. That is the highlight of this hotel. Such nice people, all of them regardless of ethnicity and shift. Toilet in the lobby are exceptionally clean as well as the cleaning crew who did an amazing job. Rooms are exceptionally clean with fresh set of equipments replaced every single morning. Tasty breakfast that lacked diversity - pork is served but poultry should also be served or another alternative for people that aren’t pork eaters - no everyone eats bacon please take that into account - consider the non-eating pork population. Other than that breakfast is quite rich and impressive.

The hotel had limited equipments. For instance no toilet brush, iron shared among visitors and zero use of microwave or fridge if visitor happen to buy something outside. Lobby chairs needed a wash or replacement they have stains all over. No in house phone to contact receptionists and wifi that doesn’t work all the time.

Many staff members were really sweet and a pleasure to talk to. The rooms were super clean (Kamila was the best!) and very comfortable. Immediate check-in possible. The location is perfect, great bars and restaurants in immediate vicinity, and Bethnal Green tube station (Central Line) a minute away.

Some of the staff members however had a very inappropriate tone towards colleagues, which I didn’t appreciate. The breakfast was quite expensive but there was not much on offer. The lifts are incredibly slow and one was constantly out of service.

Booked this hotel as it was immediately across from York Hall where we were attending an event and you couldn't have gotton closer . For this reason I was prepared to pay whatever it cost which ended up being just under £200 for one night no breakfast 😬 Great surrounding local pubs, very welcoming and reasonably priced favourite was Salmon and Ball.

We went back to the hotel for a drink and were made to feel a bit awkward as all the night staff except one guy were lounging around having chats on the next table so we only had one and went to bed. The room was very compact no window for what we paid. It was advertised as such however.

This hotel was perfect for my needs. I was down in London for one night and just needed somewhere to drop my bags and sleep. The room was small, but perfect for my needs. The check in and check out all being done via a screen meant it was quick - although that meant I spoke to no one during my stay. The location was perfect - a short walk to Bethnal Green tube. I enjoyed my view over Bethnal Green and was amazed that despite being sandwiched between a train line and a main road I slept like a log as it was SO quiet. I sometimes struggle with getting the right temperature in hotel rooms with a window you can’t open but I had a very comfortable nights sleep. All in all it was a great whistle-stop stay and I would definitely stay again.

The staff are outstanding. Helpful and friendly. The nature of this hotel is that there is no "reception" desk, it is all quite informal. A simple check in check out system - no cash. The breakfast was fairly standard buffet, perfectly acceptable and reasonably priced. The hotel is situated next to a railway line, but the soundproofing is such that you don't hear any trains. The location is great - we recommend going to the new Young V&A museum opposite. Plenty of cafes and restaurants, and a park are all in the neighbourhood. Easy public transport with bus stops and tube station practically outside the door..

The rooms are TINY. The queen size bed is built into the wall, which means that if you are a couple one of you has to clamber over the other. The bed takes half of the space of the room, with a large flat screen smart tv in the wall at the foot of the bed. No drawers, a hook to hang clothes above the mirror (obscuring the mirror!), so no storage space. Coffee/tea machine on the microscopic "desk". Shower excellent in the very small bathroom. This is perfect for a single person or even a couple for a night or two.

The staff were absolutely great and very helpful, especially when I realised I forgot to check out! However they were able to check me out over the phone and I didn't incurr any fees as I managed to call the just before the check out time. The location was very convenient for me as it was close to my work, and easy to get to and from the event I was up for. The room was nice and quiet, compact and clean.

I actually didn't realise the room wouldn't have a window, but I didn't mind this in the end because it contributed to how quiet the room was. Also it wasn't clear whether I switched the "do not disturb" or the "service my room" lights on from the inside–this could be a bit more obvious.

Having stayed at this hotel before, we didn't hesitate to book again when needing a night in London. It is conveniently located next to Bethnal Green tube stop on the Central line which is only 20 min from St. Pancras International station. The rooms are surprisingly quiet even though you're located next to a busy road and a train viaduct. The room we had was also very spacious and offered everything a wary traveler needs to relax and rest.

The bed was almost too short for me (1.85 m), but unfortunately that is a common issue in British hotels. So I can't really blame them for it.

This is an excellent bed for the night. The bed was really comfy, the Aircon genuinely worked and was super responsive which I have never experienced in a hotel in the UK before. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. (Apart from a small problem with the shower that was easily fixed). The toiletries were really nice - it's very rare that I don't use my own but they stayed in my case here. Location is amazing for all things east London. Shoreditch is walkable and spitting distance Bethnal Green tube station.

This is essentially a box with a bed, a toilet and a shower in. No windows. But it's a very comfy box and who goes to London to stay inside a hotel room? If you just need somewhere to crash this is the place for you.
