The hotel is beautiful and everyone is extremely nice and always willing to help. It was easy to feel at home away from home at The Adria hotel. The room was a very decent size with lovely Georgian windows in both the bedroom and bathroom. It is also very conveniently located in the heart of South Kensington next to the V&A museum.

The only flaw with the hotel is the noise level at night due to the underground. The tube is literally below the hotel and the rooms vibrate and rumble quite regularly. This was particularly annoying at night and made sleeping rather difficult. We understand that this is hardly the hotel's fault, but it put a damp on the whole experience.

I was surprised that I was based a 10% service charge for staying at the hotel. I have never encountered that before and was not mentioned in my booking.

The difference between the booking.com price and the final price. The booking included 2 adults and a child. After the confirmation they contact me to announce me that is an extra fee of 50 pounds for the extra bed. There was a services tax of 31 pounds by night- the second unpleasant (and very expensive) "surprise". So the difference between the booking.com price and the price I paid was approximately 500 euros

The boutique hotel is situated not far from the underground station, in a quiet area of South Kensington, but in easy reach of local bars, restaurants and museums. The staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.

I prefer to decide the additional gratuities given for the service instead of it being automatically added to my invoice....... not the amount, rather a principal !

Beautiful boutique hotel with sensational sense of detail and very polite and accommodating staff. Exceptional level of detail throughout. The hotel is in a 150 years old building with high ceilings, fireplaces in the common area, a lot of comfortable and beautifully decorated living rooms to take a rest or work. Private sauna in the lower level can be booked, which was fantastic after a long cold day. Breakfast can be ordered and paid for. It’s not a buffet but a restaurant. No need to book it. Great location with 3 subway lines.

You feel the subway as is typical in central London. Otherwise nothing really.

Our stay at The Adria on New Year's Eve was truly enjoyable. After a night out, we returned just past midnight to a warm welcome from the staff, who greeted us with complimentary champagne—a wonderful touch! Our bright and spacious room overlooked the street in South Kensington, and drinking water was supplied in abundance throughout the hotel. The common areas felt like cosy living rooms. The staff were exceptional, making us feel right at home from the outset. We were ideally situated, just a short stroll from our favourite V&A Museum, the Royal Albert Hall, and delightful cafes and restaurants. While we didn’t indulge in breakfast during our stay, the overall experience was delightful, especially the welcoming atmosphere. It was a charming setting for a memorable evening.

I liked EVERYTHING! Upon arrival I was greeted by Catherine who within the space of 30 seconds had me feeling like I was in the right place. Words won't do this establishment any justice and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The Adria will be my first choice for any future trips to London. I can say without any doubt that this hotel is contender for the best that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. As warmly as I was greeted by Catherine I was equally met with a smile and service second to none by Salma who was an absolute joy to deal with, again she is a credit to the Hotel. Thank you Catherine, James and Salma for for making my stay at The Adria a joy!

The fact that I had to leave and didn't stay for longer.

The hotel is so beautiful and the staff was so friendly. They were very attentive with our bags and offered us a coffee immediately upon arrival which I appreciated. The common space is so beautifully decorated. We only stayed one night and had to leave early so we didn’t get to try the breakfast or restaurant. Walking distance to the metro and many restaurants. 15 min walk to Harrods. Many reviews said they could hear the metro and while this is true it wasn’t loud and I slept just fine because the bed was so comfortable. I would even say it was the most comfortable bed during our trip out of 3 hotels! I would stay again but I wouldn’t choose the most basic room as it has VERY little walking/suitcase space. Had a wonderfully stocked mini bar and a drawer of snacks available in room. Would have been perfect if it was just slightly bigger.

Our room was the most basic room available at the hotel and it was extremely small. Thankfully, we only stayed one night because there wasn’t a place for our bags in the room.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful in every aspect. they were polite and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities. every morning and evening, the hotel staff provided fresh water and on time turn down service. The best part of the property is that it feels like a home more than a hotel. We lounged in one of the three lounges with our friends, watched a football match, and had service serve us drinks. Breakfast was made to order regardless of the number of guests.
