Very quiet up on the third floor Great location for visiting Greenwich Perfect location to catch bus to O2

We had an excellent room at The Mitre Greenwich, comfortable beds, nice big bathroom and TV, tea and coffee supplies with a kettle, aircon and very quiet. The staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was very good with as much coffee, tea or juice as you want. The pub itself is very nice with different sitting areas and also a beer garden, we had dinner a couple of nights and the food was good, the 10% guest discount for food and drinks is a bonus. The Mitre is in the perfect location to discover Greenwich or get the train or boat up the Thames into the centre of London. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Greenwich.

Nothing we didn't like.

The staff was really friendly. The room was very nicely decorated and felt thoroughly clean, it had a nice street view. The pub below the hotel is quite pleasant, they have amazing home made soda and the food is really good. Prices at the pub are also reasonable which is very convenient.

The hallways do not feel as clean as the rooms and the stairs are very narrow and steep, there's a lift though so it's not a huge inconvenience. The location is nice but do note it's a 40-50min ride in public transport to the main tourist attractions (Big Ben, London Eye, Tower Bridge, etc.)

The Mitre is in the centre of Greenwich, but still quite quiet. The breakfast was perfectly alright, with a choice of freshly cooked warm dishes as well as the usual buns and croissants. The personnel was very friendly, warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone. Maybe one remark: The Mitre is an old, listed building, which is lovingly renovated with modern bathrooms etc. Still, anyone expecting broad, sweeping and, especially, straight stairs or long corridors where one can immediately find one's room will be disappointed. P.S. There is, of course, a lift.

We were a Group of 7 ladies meeting in Greenwich and the hotel was easy to find. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The towels were a good size which is always nice to find. The breakfast was delicious with good choice. The 10% discount was a nice add on. Lunch was well made also delicious and the bar staff provided us with all our requests including my virgin Bloody Mary and the baby Guinness later the same evening. We were all happy with our stay and would come back again. Thank you Mitre staff for adding to our lovely experience.

We had a great stay at The Mitre and we will repeat every time we visit London. The staff was very helpful, the Pub in the same building is a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast, a nice dinner or a beer. The room was huge, stylish and recently renovated with amazing views of Greenwich. The bed was very comfortable and overall, the room has everything we needed for our 7 nights stay. And the location… Greenwich is the best choice in the city… beautiful place with plenty of restaurants, museums, parks, iconic buildings, street markets and the Cutty Sark. Connections are great too, there is a DLR stop 5 minutes away from the hotel and you can also take the TFL boat at the Greenwich pier. Overall, amazing place to stay at competitive price

We had a great 2 night stay at the Mitre. The location is excellent right on High Street in the heart of Greenwich village, only a 5 minute walk to the DLR, Cutty Sark stop. The hotel is well equipped with a full service pub on the ground floor with outdoor seating available. Our room was on the top floor that was easily accessible via stairs or the lift. Our room was a good size for an old hotel. It had two twin beds and small desk and chair and space in the entryway to put your bags. The bathroom was well sized and extremely clean. We would highly recommend the Mitre while staying in Greenwich.

Table service in the restaurant was terrible utilizing the QR code scan to order your food and drink. We found the snacks to be delicious but it was not managed well with food delivered to the wrong tables, (we got someone else's scotch egg appetizer) and we had to go to the bar to check on our food orders. We would not recommend the restaurant for a full meal.

Room was very spacious, food was god quality, drinks prices were fair especially for London. Our room was near a busy road and we could not hear any traffic or noise from outside. Easy to get to for travel links. the staff were amazing, friendly and good banter. The bar area, beer garden, conservatory and even the toilets were very nicely presented

The only down fall for me, would be the light coming in above the curtains in the morning. Not a huge thing for the rest of the family, but my body clock was still on work time so when the sun came in that was my brain thinking it was time to get up.

The hotel has its own charm. It is located in Greenwich which is beautiful area, close to public transport and walking areas, which makes the location very good if you travel with kids. The room was clean and spacious.

Two things were missing in the room: - there was no fridge. This could be problematic if you travel with small kids or have special food needs that would require to have food/drinks kept cool. - there was no wardrobe or shelves to put on clothes. Just a few hangers for coats. It would have been nice to have space to put clothes and avoid clothes everywhere in the room.

The room was very nice - large and clean with a nice view. The bathroom was sparkling clean, very spacious, and filled with natural light. I really appreciated the broad shelf for placing our personal bath items.

We made a reservation for dinner at the in-hotel restaurant, only to discover that (1) there was really no hostess desk so it was hard to "check in", and (2) even with a reservation we were suppose to find a table for ourselves by ourselves, and then order at the counter. That really was all okay, but it was surprising and some guidance when we made the reservation would have helped. Once we ordered the food and service were great.
