The location was excellent for the hospital. The room was very clean The staff were very polite & nothing was trouble for them The room was light & airy even though there was no window

The TV was in a awkward position, as when you came out of the bathroom you knocked it as it over hang into the doorway. Could have done with some more milk for drinks The mattress could have done with turning Being blind the touch control pad for the temperature & lights, were a little tricky. It could have done with some tactile buttons.

Room was clean, tea and very nice coffee bags provided (with both dairy and oat milk), temperature in room easy to control. Staff were approachable and were happy to provide us with a iron and ironing board when we asked. Our room looked over the back of the building and was relatively quiet at night.

We booked the queen room with window, which was not the smallest room but still very compact and no space for storing your luggage really, fine for a couple of nights but would want somewhere bigger for a longer stay. Our room was right next to the elevator so the 'dinging' disturbed us a little. Overall though, a pleasant stay.

The staff and accommodations we're excellent! They offered great amenities such a fully staffed bar with great beer and wine. They had a wine/Charcuterie night for staying guests! Facundo a bar staff member was especially helpful and knowledgable about wine selection. The location itself was great for local bars and art scene. Also very close to the tube at Old Street which was very useful for me being a first timer to London. Over all a very good experience!

The rooms were a bit small but very nice modern decor.

I love how clean and cozy the room is. It may be small, but it has everything that we need. Also, the staff were very helpful. I asked if I could borrow an iron for our clothes and they happily brought it up to our room. The location is great, as Old Street tube station and the bus stop are just a few steps away from the hotel. Plenty of food shops to choose within the hotel’s vicinity and grocery shops, too! Very much exceeded our expectations for the price we paid, considering the location and it’s London! (cause we had a bad experience from a different hotel in a diff location in London before, so I was so scared this wasn’t as good as how it was on the photos online!) lol. But worth it! Will definitely recommend to my friends!

Nothing that I really disliked. The bathroom/shower was glass and I didn’t mind it cause it was my partner who I was with, but if you’re friends maybe you would find it awkward?? Lol

Room was excellent, even if we didn´t have windows in our room, we enjoyed our stay there. The room was cozy and was perfect for us! It was good that we could regulate our room temperature. Everything was so clean and the whole hotel was super clean, it was very pleasant to be there. Staff was amazing, they were super friendly with us!

We were little disappointed with breakfast, the selection was very little and the price was very high compared to selection, so we went for breakfast there only one time.

Location superb, two minutes' walk from Old Street Station (though NB that the station still has no lift nor useful escalators). The Zs always have pleasant staff, but here they found me a room early, rushed an ironing board to me, and were consistently lovely. The tiny room was spotless, air con working perfectly, excellent bathroom, huge comfy bed squeezed between bathroom and window, lots of tea (and hot chocolate) - just what a budget stay should be.

Other Zs have more welcoming foyers - this is one of the smaller and more utilitarian - but that's reflected in the affordability. There's really nothing wrong with this place. Z Shoreditch and Z Strand are easy go-tos for brief budget stays.

- Location is great close to the old street underground station and different restaurants - Umbrella was always available to use when the weather was not good - 24 hours reception - Security of the place - Check out at 11 - They act quickly when the room had a problem. They changed our room and also offered us breakfast. - Cleaning

- We became members to take advantages like late Check out but we couldn't use the advantages because the booking was through booking.com. - We changed two rooms and even though they were the same the experience was different (one had better tv, an extra heating and an electric motor for the curtains) - Breakfast was average for the price - The reception and the relaxing area is very packed and you don't have space. - We asked 2 months prior to the stay to be on the second or third floor to avoid the noise (because we needed to be at the hospital nearby for treatment) but instead we were placed on the first floor. - We stayed for 2 weeks and the staff did not know us after being there for so long. You could at least know your long stay customers.

Staff were lovely on arrival (much appreciated after a long day of travelling!), room was clean, comfy bed, everything worked well. We booked a room without a window so no daylight but still enough lighting and the AC kept us cool. TV at the end of the bed was great too. There's the tube station a few doors down and buses across the road to get everywhere we needed.

The shower worked well but the sliding door didn't close fully so every use meant water all over the floor and almost out into the room. There was also no fan in the bathroom so the moisture and heat from the shower had nowhere to go.

The hotel was in the area we needed to be in for our day in London. First impressions when we arrived were positive; clean, tidy, smelt nice and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We knew the room was on the compact size (having read reviews) so we weren't surprised upon entering. The hotel accommodated our request of a low floor room and told us upon check in - it's good to know that they receive the requests and acknowledge them. The room was modern, clean and had more or less everything you need. It would be useful to have a hair dryer but not a deal breaker. The controls for the rooms' lights and air con was high tech. We booked a room with a window and the blind was also controlled via the high tech panel. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was nice also. When we asked for more tea bags and milk for our room, the staff ensured they were delivered to our room for us.

i have no bad words to say at all as this is the only hotel I ever stay in when I go to London. Excellent staff (Remembered my name from months ago when I last stayed), awsome service and all round genuinely lovely people who go out of their way to help.

Now this has nothing to do with the staff or the hotel itself but the room rates randomly fluctuate in price for no real reason. these are set by head office though so I have no negatives as again the staff are lovely and always do their best to help you out if needed.
