Property was brand new and nicely decorated.

Whilst I liked the property overall the waiting staff, namely what seemed to be the manager who worked in the bar area was quite stuck up in our opinion. The overall service of the hotel was not the best, staff a bit arrogant. Also, whilst i respect people being Muslims I don’t see why I should be forced to abide by someone else’s religion. The English breakfast didn’t contain anything pork, contained beef sausage and beef bacon. I do believe people have the right to choose.

Some small mishaps due to newly opened hotel with inexperienced staff, topped with a false fire alarm 04.15 Sunday morning… lowers the overall impression, but the hotel has the potential to become a very nice hotel with a little more trimming... We also lacked clothes hooks for outerwear and shoehorns. Minus for the lack of a small fridge in the room

This hotel is exceptional! The staff are incredible - so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful - whether at front desk, restaurant or bar. They made our stay so pleasurable. The decor is brilliant with decorative touches from House of Hackney and Peruvian accents in the restaurant. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the food in Lima in the evening was superb. The rooms were super comfortable, with luxury linens and toiletries and a large walk in shower. there is a large construction project nearby but we didn’t hear any noise at all from this. great location with lots of nearby restaurants. I give this hotel the highest recommendation.

Beautiful hotel, we had a great room. Hotel is convenient to our conference at the Barbican and lots of other things. Breakfast was great with good service in a nice room. Their dinner menu is limited but plenty of pubs within minutes walk so lots of choices available. Our week was abnormally hot and the air conditioning was typically minimal but we did ok. Staff are great.

The system they have in place to reach front desk or anyone is to send a Whats App text - and there doesn't seem to be anyone monitoring that. So you have to go down to the front desk to ask for anything. Not really a fan of that system.

Lovely public lounge areas to sit in and have a drink, lots of luxurious seating. Breakfast was amazing, good quality ingredients, lots of choice. The bed in our room was exceptionally comfortable as were the pillows and duvet. Powerful shower. Loved the extras in our room for example robes and slippers. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Coffee machine kept in the wardrobe was a bit of a faff and could be located somewhere better so we didn’t have to keep getting it out and filling with water. No decent sized mirror on the dressing table, only a small round magnifying mirror which wasn’t big enough to do make up etc. Problem with the heating and heated towel rail on our second day coupled with the cleaner leaving our window open so when we returned from a cold day out our room was freezing and towels were still damp from the morning but only a small issue.

The vibe and aesthetic of the hotel are truly unique and pleasant, creating a cosy atmosphere. The staff, from the receptionists to the barmen, door staff, and waitresses, are attentive, well-trained, and a credit to Sun Street Hotel—probably the best service and experience I've ever had with hotel employees

I would say the drinks are pricey; however, it's the going rate. The room cleaning service could be improved. I noticed corners had been cut, with mess left behind and the toilet not cleaned properly. Cups were not replaced but simply rinsed in the bathroom sink, still smelling of wine.

Had an issue with the room temperature/air conditioning which was resolved very quickly by maintenance after sending a message via their WhatsApp. As a deaf person, using a messaging service in this way was so helpful and prevented any unnecessary stress. Wonderful freshly cooked breakfast and hot drinks. Superb shower, likely the best I've had in a hotel in a very long time!

Very minor and I guess it can't be helped due to the season, but there were some flies buzzing around and landing on the buffet breakfast selection (cold meats, fruit, cereals, pastries etc). We were not planning on eating from here anyway but can imagine it might put others off.

The hotel room, especially the bathroom, the bed was very good, the location ideal for us staff was friendly and helpful. Appliances top. Stylish,à and clean

The room is a bit dark, another standing lamp close to the desk would have been good. The bed is large and to reach out the right hand side is a bit annoying as it is a narrow path to get there. The coffee machine is not placed in an easy reach if you want to add water to the tank.

Coupled with the finer things a great hotel has to offer, the proximity of a central London Station makes this the perfect place to stay. Sun Street has all the extra little touches that go a long way to enhance an experience. Very comfortable beds, beautiful decor, fabulous showers and beautiful deep baths. There's such a luxurious feel to the carpets and furnishings that emphasize the quality of comfort this hotel offers. Delicious coffee pods with the extra touch of having Scottish shortbread biscuits to accompany. A complementary mini bar, should you crave a lemonade or cold coke after a long day of exploration. And most importantly, welcoming staff that make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed fabulous breakfasts in the stunning dining room and couldn't wait to return to relax by night in the selection of cosy, unique lounges. Truly sun street is an exceptional hotel. Not even current construction works deter from the enjoyment and comfort this hotel has to offer. It's so very well buffered by triple glazing that you're guaranteed an excellent night sleep. Spitalfields Market and Shoreditch are literally a 10 minute walk away. Don't miss an opportunity to see these amazing collections of food and vintage markets. So much to see and do, so little time... A very big thank you to the wonderful staff at Sunset street and especially Emily. We'll be back! Chris and Hazel.

Nothing not to like!

The beds were absolutely divine. The quality of all of the materials provided were fabulous, from the extra fluffy towels to the hair conditioner (something not normally that nice in hotels). Above all, the staff was exceptional. They were all so friendly and kind, and not in a fake way. The housekeeper was proactive about changing my bedding for foam. I saw the chef helping the front desk staff with my bag up on the way out. Frankly, superb.

Nothing to report. Everything that I experienced was nice and easy.
