Very central location close to Sackville Garden and short walk to train station. Plenty of restaurant choices at the doorstep.

Noisy on the Tuesday night I stayed but to be expected on Canal Street. Could do with an extra blanket for the bed in the room as a bit cold but otherwise comfortable stay.

The La Ville Hotel is a stylish boutique hotel located in the heart of Manchester's city center. It offers a blend of modern design and historic charm, with exposed brickwork, plush velvet furnishings, and artwork adorning the walls. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring plush bedding, marble bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs. The hotel also boasts a range of amenities including a 24-hour reception, concierge service, and on-site restaurant and bar. The location is ideal for exploring the city, with many of Manchester's top attractions, such as the Manchester Art Gallery and the Northern Quarter, within walking distance. The hotel is also well-connected to the city's public transport network, making it easy to get around. Overall, the Lavelle Hotel is a stylish and comfortable hotel with a prime location in Manchester. It is well-suited for both business and leisure travelers.

What drew me to Le Ville was its location, as I was visiting Canal Street, and you couldn't get much closer. The price was fair, the rooms were clean, but I was most impressed by the sound-proofing. Despite being right in the heart of the action, couldn't really hear it. I wanted for nothing in terms of plug sockets, lighting, 24 hour manned desk and a hair dryer.

If they'd installed the toilet at 45 degrees into the corner, I'd have been able to fit my knees in more easily. The shower itself was also fairly small. I also should have brought my own pillow. The ones there were adequate, but I like really squishy pillows.

As for the room, it was in good condition—clean and comfortable. However, the bed wasn’t the best part of the experience. Every time I moved, it made a lot of noise, giving the impression it might break at any moment. If you're a light sleeper, this could be a bit of a problem. The hotel it’s located in the heart of Manchester’s gay district, a lively and energetic area. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the bars, clubs, and restaurants that bring life to the city center, especially on Canal Street, where the party scene is always vibrant.

The reception staff Emma & Natalie were very professional, polite and helpful. Room were standard everything you needed,Kettle, hair dryer, towels and TV. The only downside were at the weekend all the noise from Canal Street you couldn't sleep as it didn't finish until 5am .Would use again I I were ever in Manchester

The noise from the bars at the weekend didn't finish until 5am so got no sleep even with the windows closed. Room 33 is the worse as your above the Chicken takeaway shop

A perfect place to stay for a night out in Manchester. It’s positioned 10 minutes walk between 2 train stations and close to theatres, in a colourful part of the city. The aquatic centre is only a 15 minute walk away. While it’s not fancy, it’s clean, has the essentials, and a very comfortable bed for a great price. Just missing a bar fridge and shelf in the bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful and while it’s a little noisy on the street at night with pubs and bars close by, I slept well. I’d definitely stay again.

Wouldn’t recommend for a long stay with no bar fridge and a tiny shower. Don’t stay if you expect a quiet street.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful with questions about where to get food. Bedroom seemed perfectly clean with all the basics expected. Comfy bed. Bathroom fittings weren't quite as new and well-kept as the bedroom amenities were though. Great location for a night out on Canal street or nearby. Also quite nice to walk through the little park just across the bridge and see the Alan Turing memorial and HIV memorial on the walk back to the station.

I got this standard twin room on a weekday for £70 instead of something like £150, with a combination of Booking.com discount and a special offer. I'm not sure if they're like DFS and always have some sort of offers on, but I definitely wouldn't have thought it was good value if I'd paid that much. It would be a fair price to pay up to about £100 though. It was a real bargain for what we paid though so I was extremely happy. In an ideal world, I would refer to stay somewhere that has breakfast on-site (beyond the snacks and pot noodles advertised in reception), but there was an Irish bar across the bridge and on the next road down that did a perfectly serviceable and very reasonably priced fry-up as an alternative. I would stay again.

Although the location of this hotel isn’t somewhere I would usually choose the locals were extremely friendly and helpful, more so were the staff, we booked this hotel as a last minute as we needed somewhere to stay and we were greeted by an extremely friendly member of staff who couldn’t do enough for us, the location is great to get to everywhere we needed and the room was ideal for two people who were travelling but needed separate beds. Overall I was extremely satisfied with my stay

Only thing that let me down was I accidentally put the radiator on and it was very hot all night, my fault not the hotels... also the Tv couldn’t get a signal but again not an issue as we were only looking for somewhere to spend the night

In terms of location could not ask for more within 10 minutes walk of the main train station and all the shops and a nearby park. The room included a sofa, large fan and large double bed and bathroom have rainfall shower. Staff were polite and professional and plenty of pubs/bars nearby if you drink and China Town and bus station within walking distance.

The noise of empty bottles of beer being collected in the early hours of the morning from nearby pubs/bars but to be fair that is just the area and not the hotel itself.

Very friendly staff, the bed was quite comfortable. I think the room meets my expectations for its price. The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre of Manchester, very accessible to other parts of the city.

The hygiene of the washroom can be improved. When I entered the room, there were still some marks around the toilet bowl as well as around the washing basin. Also, the shower sliding door could not close completely, some of the water splashed out when I was taking the shower.
