I recently had an exceptional stay at this hotel, where the staff truly excelled. I left a note with a special request, and they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, particularly Sam at reception, who made my daughter feel incredibly special. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and boasts an ideal location in the heart of Manchester, close to all amenities. The staff provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and activities, enhancing our visit. With the tram right at our doorstep and fantastic restaurants nearby, I will definitely choose this hotel for all future visits to Manchester 🐝

Everything about our stay was excellent. This is a well run hotel. The staff were very accommodating and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The lobby area was also extremely comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our entire stay and will definitely go again. Its very central, short walk to both trams and trains as well as shops and restaurants.

I have nothing to add here. Just on the questions above: Did the price you paid match the expectations you had when you booked? I said No, because I hadn't expected it to be as nice for that price. Ive paid a hell of a lot more elsewhere for a terrible experience.

The location was great! It was clean, had daily housekeeping. Helpful people at the reception, especially this one guy with dark hair who checked me in, another woman who helped me access the room when I stupidly locked myself out, and a young lady with dark hair who I asked about where to empty the bin and she offered to send someone up even outside of housekeeping hours. Rooms were a good temperature and hot water was available.

Felt that toothbrushes could have been provided. And bins could be lined with bags. Got a little expensive with a long stay and weekend rates. The view was to the inside of the building.

I felt really welcome by the very friendly Portuguese people, the man with the Rastafari hair in the bar, was very polite, and helpful - he prepared me a ginger tea on my arrival, to help out with my upset stomach issues. The lady at the Portuguese lady ( Madalena )at the Reception was very friendly, and professionally polite, when I requested an earlier check in, as I arrived at 12. She managed to get us a room in the 7 floor ( the room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is very central, closed to all the shops, and. Me and my partner, will definitely come back to this Motel one next time we travel to Manchester. Really nice place, atmosphere, and the hotel is beautifully decorated with modern style, and breakfast buffet is also very good too. Countless reasons to highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Manchester.

The location was excellent. Located at St. Peters square, lirterally next to the tram with beautiful scenery. Tram takes you to picadilly, the airport and trafford centre. Police was located at the square and at the tram made you feel secure. Also just a few minutes walk to bus stops at portland /dickinson street and oxford road as well as the Manxhester central. The design of the hotel is unique and cosy. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room size was adequate. The bed was huge and comfortable. 3 elevators so you didnt have to wait. Did not have cooked breakfast but excellent croissants, fruit salad and coffee was perfect for me!

This place is a little gem and located in central Manchester just off St Peters square. Its only a few minutes walk to Piccadilly gardens and the shopping areas. The hotel including my room was kept very clean and provided all the services I required for a lovely stay, I will probably stay here again in the future.

Breakfast was abit expensive at £10. 50 per day for a continental breakfast, so i decided to eat out instead.

The location was excellent, everything is around the area with 10-15 minutes walk and you can reach almost the best parts of the city. Really clean room, the housekeeping service was polite , and every day our room was clean and fresh. The reception was always there, and ready to help us for everything with kindness ...

For our own needs, the room was extremely small! 16m2. It's for 1 person, not 2, with 2 large suitcases + bags + possibly new shopping which means extra bags etc. Also in the room there was only one waste basket in the bathroom, no small fridge or small wardrobe, also no slippers.

Perfect location for Manchester Central conference, which involved late night sessions too, so the hotel bar - superbly stocked - being open til 2am was greatly appreciated. Staff were super-friendly but not formal.

Bar and lobby furniture was a bit of a triumph of style over ergonomics: as this is also the breakfast venue, the paucity of normal height tables and chairs to eat at was the main downside. Breakfast itself a little compromised too, by the lack of service space.

Great location near rail station and next to tram stop. 3x lifts so never really had to wait, unlike many hotels. Arrived 3 hours early to drop bags but were given an available room without asking and for no extra charge. Huge bar area, with busier and quieter areas. Room clean and adequate. Very quiet despite central location. Friendly and helpful staff. 2am bar...not that we used it this time.

Girl on bar was great, but working alone so a little waiting at times. She would have benefited from someone else jumping on to give her a hand whenever there was a sudden influx.

As always the room was spotless and the staff very helpful and professional. I arrived early and there was a shortage of rooms ready and the girl who checked me in was so apologetic for the delayed check-in. There was no need to do so as the hotel was so busy, she did a great job.

You still do not offer a loyalty programme for regular customers, this needs to be put in place as I do not only stay at Motel One in Manchester, but across UK/Europe and see no benefit at all. I stay with you at least once or twice every month. Please do not use the competitive price argument as this is not the case when there is a football match or conference, you should offer better pricing for regular customers/loyalty programme members during these times.
