Excellent location, public car park a few minutes walk away. £6.40 all day. Traditional breakfast available, the cooked one nicely cooked, not greasy and plenty of it. Cereal also available. Staff were very courteous, nothing too much trouble. Asked for mugs for our room instead of the paper ones provided as we were staying for 4 nights - supplied straight away. Bedroom good though bed could have been bigger. Nice hot shower. Everything very clean.

Fabulous location looking down on the Yarnmarket. Room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was excellent, with both continental and cooked available. All staff really friendly and helful

My only comment is that rooms are not serviced at all, not even bins emptied due to COVID. This just seems a little outdated now. You can request toiletries, tea, coffee etc, and even a rubbish bag which is then left outside the bedroom door. We were only there a couple of days so it didn't matter.

Superb location near the castle and not far from the race we were doing on Saturday. Breakfast staff very friendly and helpful. They served us a quick breakfast before the race as the opening hours were limited. Welcome was great too.

Breakfast only from 8am to 9am which is not great and not mentioned to us before arrival on site. Room was not 100% clean as we had crumbs on the floor. Not enough plugs in the twin room as all taken by alarm clock, kettle,TV and side bedlamp(which was not working). Overrated price and not a 3 star hotel.

Excellent breakfast. Good choice of cereal, items for cooked breakfast, toast, marmalade etc. In fact everything you could want in a full English breakfast.

Our room was at the top of the building, up several flights of very narrow stairs, difficult to carry up a suitcase. The weather was very hot, the room did have a an electric fan, but was hot and airless. Also evening meals were fine but nothing special. Sunday evening was roast pork, just a couple of slices of pork, no crackling, no roast potatoes. Adequate but not a typical Sunday roast.

Loved the location of the hotel in the lovely setting of Dunster. Shame about the parking Staff friendly and helpful . Sadly could not accommodate us for dinner as it they had finished service , which we thought was quite early.They did however recommend a pub.

Just the lack of parking.. but a busy place

The Yarn Market is a lovely hotel, situated next to the historic Yarn Market in Dunster. The hotel staff are very pleasant and welcoming and our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant and breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Hotel manager was so lovely and friendly! Always making sure to stop for a chat and showed an interest in the reason we were visiting. We stayed at the hotel for a race near by, the hotel put on a very early self service breakfast for a 5am start which we really appreciated!

Paper cups in the room, terrible, waste of money, what has happened to a cup and saucer, really salty bacon, hotel a bit dated, hotel menu very boring, hardly anyone eating there, we didn’t, restaurant not very inviting.

Location perfect. Staff excellent. Lovely room with view over the castle and High Street

Stair access a little tricky (room 2). Parking no problem in winter with few cars around in High Street, but in summer could be more difficult.

great location, very friendly and attentive staff, helped us find a parking space and helped with bags. Room was clean, lovely four poster bed.

The shower could have been better, low water pressure and temperature, otherwise all good
