This hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Salisbury - only a 10 minute stroll through the centre to get to the cathedral. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Our room was spacious and clean, and although it overlooked the main road, the soundproofing was good and there was little traffic noise. There was no live music while we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely day exploring this fascinating medieval city - would recommend the tour up the tower of the cathedral!

The bed was too hard for my personal taste and comfort - a mattress topper might have helped? Breakfast was at a reduced rate for guests, but would have been even better if included in the price for the room.

On arrival, everything was explained politely, parking, breakfast, WiFi & keys. The room was ready in time as we were a little earlier than anticipated, clean & spacious. Location was just what we required. Bar staff again polite & plenty of choice. Breakfast was plentiful & the service again polite & served with a smile. Would definitely stay again.

It's not the hotels fault at all, but the traffic diversions in place are diabolical for businesses to flourish the council needs to sort this out as our taxi driver explained this has been on going for 2 years.

unlike most UK hotels on our vacation trip the Qudos had larger rooms and bathrooms. the hotel was clean and close to historic Salisbury. parking was nearby so you need to park illegally somewhere nearby and the staff directs you to the nearby lot.

the staff works at the bar in the lobby until 8pm. if we had arrived later we may have had a problem. the room key includes a key to the hotel lobby and one to the room.

Everything! Great location, great restaurant (breakfast was awesome too). Our room was large and comfy; updated bath and great amenities. Parking is extra and close by for an extra fee, and with a reservation. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and professional. We were fortunate to be there on a night when they had live music in the bar; we got to boogie without leaving the property. Great bar too!

Nothing at all! However, if one would be bothered my hearing the music, make sure to request one of the rooms where there’s less chance of that. We were on the third floor over the bar and could hear it a little bit; but not enough to bother us. Made us want to join in!

We (myself, husband son and future wife) visited Salisbury to celebrate my husbands 70th Birthday-and meet my sister in law. We all thought our rooms were Comfortable, Spotlessly Clean, the staff were very welcoming, helpful and professional. We had dinner and Sunday lunch there and were happy with both - the food was Delicious. You could hear the bar music Saturday - but it wasn't a problem as it ended at 11pm and we all enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep. We will definitely return to stay here - it's in a perfectly central location offering 24 hr pay parking £7.50 nearby - very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I selected this hotel largely for its central location. The building is far from new and I entered via the bar where a friendly and professional staff member checked me in, she gave me a brief tour and explained how to enter in the event that the bar and restaurant was closed. The stairway up to the rooms is unassuming but the rooms are exceptionally well appointed and comfortable. The food quality was excellent staff were friendly and helpful. I thought the value was good for the money.

Checking in at the bar and the rear entrance don’t match the quality of the rooms or the food, but in my view worth overlooking.

The bathroom because it had a full sized bath and a shower cubicle. Friendly staff and clean rooms. My partner left her pyjamas in the bathroom and a staff member posted them back to us in their own time. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Salisbury.

The lack of onsite parking was inconvenient due to my mobility issues. Lack of room thermostat to control heating, the room was a little colder than I would have liked. Room would benefit greatly from modern windows, there was building work going on locally and the road noise was a little excessive. Obviously I don’t blame the hotel for this. I’m not complaining about any of these comments, it’s merely constructive criticism. The WiFi signal was quite poor in our room too so used my data, again, not complaining.

The hotel is also a busy pub and there was live music the night we were there , it is also on a busy road. I am super glad we were in rooms at the back and we didn’t have any noise disturbance , I would guess it would be pretty loud at the front. Although to be fair I didn’t experience that so I am not complaining at all. Rooms are very nice , well decorated and comfortable, they have pretty much anything you would want in them and it was lovely and warm. There is quite a walk with luggage from the car park . The staff were super nice and friendly and the breakfast was divine , the selection was fantastic and everything we ate was exceptional

The walk from the car park , it wasn’t far but a good 7 minute walk with luggage

Brilliant location for centre and cathedral, really friendly and helpful staff, nicely decorated room, good breakfast with choices of eg avocado, eggs Benedict. We didn’t eat dinner but restaurant and bar area work well as a pub style

Room as up several flights of stairs with poor signposting. No lift. Parking was offsite….we were not prompted to book a place but luckily one was spare….number of places look limited versus number of bedrooms. I suspect we had a recently refurbished room so might be orthodox checking this and location if you have mobility issues

Qudos is in a great location within an easy walking distance into the main square where an array of shops and bars/restaurants can be found. This is the second time we have chosen to stay here and we really cannot fault it. The rooms are exceptional and really spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The rooms were also cleaned every day. A big bonus to this place is the staff… every single one of them was so welcoming and friendly and they really are a credit to Qudos! We must pay a special mention to Jules who our daughter absolutely loved… on our first night there, my daughter asked if they did mocktails as she couldn’t see any on the menu. Jules asked her what kind of flavours she liked and said that she would go and make one up for her. This was a massive hit, so much so, that the bar staff called it a ‘Lucky Liv’, and upon checking out of the hotel, we were told that it had even been added to the till systems - my daughter still can’t believe that she had a mocktail named after her or that it’s been added to their systems!! Moving into food… again, simply amazing! We ate here on our first evening and the portion sizes are generous and fairly priced! The white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake was to die for! Breakfast is also superb… continental and cooked with several options to choose from! My daughter loved the eggs Florentine. We would not hesitate to stay here again and really can’t wait to visit again.

Our stay at Qudos was faultless… there is nothing that we didn’t like about this.
