Everything! There was space to park when I arrived (although the car park did fill up later), my check-in was really pleasant. The room was a good size, maybe a little basic for some, but perfectly adequate for me. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, pillows and duvet were good quality. Shower had great water pressure, and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Location, looking out the front door, you can see the whole Cathedral. It's a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town. Breakfast was a hot and continental buffet, and really tasty. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Nothing, I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely friendly and accommodating staff. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. The shower pressure is excellent. Really tasty cooked breakfast buffet with lots of options. The best thing about staying here is the calm atmosphere and being able to walk around the Cathedral grounds in the morning before it is open to the general public...the cloisters are quite special! If you're religious or just a bit curious you can go into the Cathedral for the morning and evening services and see the wonderful stained glass and architecture.

The location perfect for my event at Salisbury Cathedral. I felt perfectly safe at all times. The atmosphere and my initial rooms were amazing. Breakfast was spot on.

Due to inexperience of booking I messed up my room booking and had to book out and in again. Although my second room on the second night was perfectly clean and fit for purpose sadly the drunken behaviour I witnessed in the early morning was very off-putting. However the above excellent reception staff were amazing and I am forever thankful for turning my stay around. Many thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Lovely old building in a beautiful quiet area. Room was comfortable, light and spotless - as was the bathroom. Very nice staff, relaxed atmosphere and great breakfast. It is a bit dorm-like as a college and that should be expected, but it was fairly priced and really pleasant - I would certainly stay again and have recommended to family and friends. Thanks Sarum!

Shower pressure was on weaker side, but to be expected in older building, and was hot and clean (both more important) with modern facilities and decor. Nitpicking here! Go easy on shampoo if you have longer hair and you'll be fine.

When it comes to location you can't beat Sarum College. Ideal for exploring the city as a tourist as you can get to virtually all the major sites such as the cathedral, Arundells and Mompesson House (plus the high-street shopping area and the riverside gardens) on foot. The buffet-style cooked breakfast is excellent, freshly prepared with high quality ingredients and a variety of choices. Unlike in many hotels, the atmosphere around the college is peaceful and quiet, and our room on the second floor (there is a lift!) had a lovely view of the cathedral. We would definitely stay in Sarum College again.

Our room was more than adequate but for some people maybe not quite what you would expect for the price. Having said that you do pay for the location - see above.

One couldn’t wish for a better location in Salisbury’s cathedral close with unrivalled views of the cathedral. Staff welcoming and friendly. Self-service cooked breakfast included.

Sarum College is a listed building of historic interest offering academic and short courses in Christian spirituality as well as operating as a guest house open to anyone. It does have a somewhat ‘ institutional’ feel so perhaps wouldn’t suit everyone. Our twin-bedded attic room was spacious but the low beams and undulating (carpeted) floorboards proved somewhat hazardous to tall elderly persons. Because of the design of the bathroom there was no lid on the loo — though we were given an extra bathmat to use as a cover— and lack of a curtain over the bath/ shower made showering without spraying the entire room a challenge.

This place is a one off. Its a religious college that is renting out rooms. I have the cheap ones. You have a sink in your room but shared facilities, toilet and bathroom. I am on business so just need to get hear down. But it is right next to the Cathedral with great access to the town. If you want a cheap quiet place, with a hood breakfast (get there early, I have stayed twice, the first time the breakfast was not so good, but I got there early, and it was much better. By early, it opens at 8, that is too late for serious business, but fine for holidays.

I bring a sleeping bag as it a drafty old place. They heating bill must be huge. Breakfast on my 2 stays, first time, 6/10, then 8/10.

Great value accommodation for Salisbury, with views of the Cathedral spire from the bedroom. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Close by to all the facilities of the city centre. I was a little worried that the corridor might be noisy at night but it was fine - very little noise. I didn't book en suite but the bathroom / WC was only just round the corner from the room. The courses the college run looked really interesting so I might be back!

It was great for what I paid for the room but it is a college hall of residence with all that implies. Got down to breakfast before the rush but there could have been a wait if I hadn't as a large group came in just after I did.

Sarum College is not an hotel but rather a conference/ seminar centre particularly for theological topics. It hires out rooms when not needed for such purposes. Its location in the cathedral close with spectacular views of the Cathedral (particularly from our bedroom window) means that it was very quiet and the bells did not disturb us. It was a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. As mentioned by others it was very clean and comfortable. It was full with guest many of whom were from overseas. Excellent parking just outside

Checkout was at 9.30 which was a bit of a haul as the night we stayed was the final of the Euro foot ball. Note that there are no televisions in the room

The gated area surrounding the cathedral is locked during the night. So it was extremely quiet which we liked. The location was central, and our room had a great view of the cathedral. The buffet breakfast was superb and orderly. Bed was comfortable.

The water pressure wasn't the greatest on the top floor. The pressure seem to vary every second, so it was rather tricky to use the tap. Also, the water coming out of the tap wasn't clear, so we had to purchase bottled water. The waste disposer mechanism was quite sensitive under the sink and the toilet, so it gets triggered (and quite loud) frequently.
