Location and the swimming pool and sauna. Easy to park. Lovely big room area. The reception staff were absolutely lovely and friendly as were the breakfast staff team.

Room was very hot. The bed was not large double as advertised but a standard 4’6” bed. Booking.com need to address this on all of their descriptions as this has happened to us before. I am 6’2” and cannot sleep comfortably in such a small double bed. A mattress topper would have helped as well.

Breakfast: Excellent. Dinner: Two visits to the Orangery Restaurant - one was outstanding the other was not so good. (Luke-warm meal had to be sent back). This would not prevent me from eating there again - probably just a bad evening. View from Room: Excellent.

Courtyard Arranview Room 120: 1. Bad stain on the quilted bedspread - should have been seen by housekeeping and taken care of before arrival. 2. Safety box had to be reset by maintenance staff twice. 3. Holes in the window blinds. 4. Television didn't work - had to be changed by maintenance staff. 5. Sound proofing of internal walls was non-existent. We could hear everything guests in the next room were saying.

First room was awesome. Perfect size, comfortable bed, superb sea view and bathroom was great. Breakfast was very good including the buffet section.

TV was a little small to view from the seating area or bed. I was asked if I would mind moving to another room regarding an issue with another guest and stairs. I said I was OK with that. They assured me I would like the new room. However, it was actually a massive suite - 4 beds, dining table/chairs, huge seating area, etc. I found it too big for one person and I lost my wonderful view. Still, I had agreed to move so did not say anything to the staff.

Hotel is beautiful, beautiful location, pool is lovely. Food was amazing. Like how court yard rooms have separate areas for if kids staying on pull out bed.

No blind in bathroom on a ground floor room facing main entrance. Loungers by pool be lovely. Jacuzzi a bit cold as it’s part of the main pool. Our room was roasting hot all weekend. Staff were a bit unremarkable, all seemed a bit fed up to be at work. Our waiter on Friday night was lovely but did not catch their name. Food was a bit expensive £139 for 3 courses for two a small wine, a cocktail and a alcohol free cocktail. Late check out only adds one hr on to check out time. Did love the hotel and will be back. This was just my observations based on other hotels I have been to.

Beautiful and peaceful area. The other guests were also nice and friendly. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Really nice food. Liked the layout of the hotel and everything being in one place especially having mobility issues. Craig was very nice and funny and welcoming as most staff were.

Young male staff standing having a conversation about salary/pay and shift swaps when there are guests waiting to be served and tables to clear. But the young female was super polite and helpful couldn't have done more while they were chatting. Ran out of lasagne both nights which was slightly disappointing.

This was a perfect venue for our large family gathering. Staff were attentive and did their very best to ensure that we had a good experience. Our room overlooking the Isle of Arran was lovely, and the hotel facilities and restaurants are excellent. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room offer added luxury after a dip in the sea! We have stayed here several times and would definitely come again.

We were grateful to the catering staff for working so hard, but the hotel was clearly short-staffed and this created some pressures on those who were serving. We hope that management will address this issue.

The room was beautiful and so clean! The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming while we were checking in. We were attending a wedding, the day was so organised and dinner was lovely! We asked for early check in, for an extra £30 we were able to get into our room before the wedding began.

We went too late to breakfast as there were some items unavailable by the time we got there. We had been looking forward to hash browns and potato scones, there was none. The breakfast plate was roasting hot but the actual breakfast was quite cold. There was also a banging noise in the main hotel between 8am-9am which woke us up.

Fantastic food and restaurant was amazing with a stunning view of the beach which is 20 yards from the rear of the hotel. The staff were so attentive and room service was prompt and food was as described and so tasty. I will be back to seamill hydro again soon as myself and my partner had a fantastic time. We wanted to stay on another night but due to the popularity of this venue we couldn't as it was fully booked. The perfect getaway from your daily routine and such a relaxing atmosphere. Total class.

Lovely 1 bedroom apartment with partial sea view and generous in size. Spa facilities were clean with shampoo, conditioner and soap to use, hot and powerful showers for after use. Hair dryers and straighteners available in female changing rooms. Towels supplied free of charge. The hotel itself is large, nice seating areas and places to just 'be'. The main restaurant was well staffed, quick and has the most beautiful view. Dinner was just delicious. Staff were friendly and quick to clear. Lovely beach walks. We didn't venture out of the hotel grounds to explore seamil but its a nice town with direct beach access from the hotel.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. My husband and I don't drink alcohol and they had some non alcoholic beer options. 'Noseco' would have been a nice touch. Perhaps some evening entertainment in the form of a guitarist or singer would have been good in the bar area.

Booked lunch and swim as a birthday gift, so decided to have sandwiches with soup as was having a main meal in restaurant in evening. Extremely disappointed that there was no vegetarian soup offered. 😠 Only chicken & sweetcorn. In evening , l had cauliflower gnocchi which was supposed to have mushrooms in it. Asked staff to ask the chef why not one mushroom was in meal, when mushrooms were mentioned but was told chef had finished work for the evening. Service was extremely slow. Waited about 20mins to order desert, then had to go up to staff at bar to order. Felt sorry, as there wasn't enough staff on as the bar area had become so busy.
