Large clean room. Staff very friendly and chatty. Missed breakfast time but they still cooked for us.

Unfortunately owners have closed the bar so had to go out for pre meal drinks

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably spacious. Although the road is fairly busy, we were not bothered by noise and there is plenty of parking, free and on site. Breakfast is pretty minimal "continental", but alright.

We had clearly failed to do enough research, and were disappointed to find that the breakfast was not more substantial, and that the restaurant was closed on the two evenings we were there (Sunday and Monday). However there is a good, if rather lively Indian restaurant, the Chilli Massalla, in easy walking distance.

The rooms are well equipped with a spacious corner desk, wall mounted ironing board, a reasonable TV screen size. the heating appeared to be available 24 hours. There is also a welcome bag. They are happy to refresh tea and milk cartons on request. It's not the cheapest option (but very competitive) for the same price in Stockport I have seen amateurish quality and rooms. I'm in the area for work but have to foot my own bill so I have to take cheaper properties if I can, otherwise I would still be there.

The location is around a 15 minute walk from the Stockport station, and I felt relatively safe, even at night. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom is clean and comfy. There isn't a breakfast included, and not a lot of restaurants are open in the morning, but there are some shops around. Lots of amenities included that made the stay extra lovely.

Finding the entrance is quite confusing cause it's a bit hidden to the side, and the entrance facing the road is actually the side entrance. It is located near the park so walking at night does get quite dark.

I liked everything about this hotel. The room was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. I didn't eat at the hotel myself, but from the other guests I spoke to the chef was great and the food was excellent. The breakfast is continental only at the moment, but they have plans to introduce an English breakfast soon.They do not have a bar at the hotel, but they do allow you to bring your own drink and the staff will keep it until it's needed by you. All the staff make this a great place to stay.

There was nothing I didn't like and would stay here again if visiting this area again.

Did you like the breakfast? Not applicable. Location..? Depends where you’re coming from. I walked from station. Long way. Entrance…too many steps up or down for an old’un………but ad did state ..stairs only to rooms on upper floors, so……. Cozy room, comfortable bed, t press, iron, hairdryer….all good but no breakfast for the price paid. Not even continental….easy one!

Silly things like a dirty spoon. I washed it! No breakfast. Not even for one!

The room is spacious and plenty of parking available. It was also located close to where I was attending the course the next day, saving me on unnecessary travel in the morning. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the place despite the decor and the place in general being a little old/dated.

I didn’t realise it was on a direct flight path of all planes landing however this is just typical for anywhere in that area as it is so close to the airport.

The advertising/website said Breakfast included - it didn't state this this was just a continental breakfast, this should have been made clear as we then had to look around for a more substantial breakfast as we had a long drive ahead and wanted to drive on full stomachs!

As above. Also the Bar wasn't open so instead of relaxing with a drink we had to drive to find a pub which meant that one of us couldn't drink anyway.

Quite surprised by how clean and well made up the room was. Spotless and very well maintained. Cannot fault the room. Ample tea an coffee plus a well thought out and appreciated Welcome Bag. Very professional courteous and helpful staff. I was shown to my room and given brief run down of room features. Felt very comfortable and will make the Wycliffe my first choice when looking for place to stay near Stockport.
