Lovely quiet location with views over golf course. Owner messaged the morning of arrival to give all the details and it was ready very early so we could go anytime we were ready, and checked in on checkout day - really friendly and helpful. Comfy and everything you needed provided. Parking right next to the lodge. Great location to explore Northumberland from as 15mins from Alnwick, good access to coast with beautiful beaches and some good national trust properties. Little village shop 2 miles away for supplies and larger shops in Alnwick for a longer stay. It was clean and we liked that there was a Dyson on the wall handy to quickly hoover up crumbs and grass etc to keep it clean while we were there. Felt really spacious having the full bathroom with a bath and the ensuite with a shower. WiFi was good. Didn’t use the balcony as the weather wasn’t great but would have been lovely to sit out on in the evenings.

Maybe a bit more info left in the lodge about the area and the lodge including expectations on checkout, but that’s being a bit picky really, all was very good.

We have just returned from a 2 day break. The lodge I considered to be sited on the best position/ location on the site. It has a large wrap around veranda with amazing views and was bathed in sunshine from sunrise until sunset. It was perfect for dining and relaxing outdoors and to be able to watch the deer roam freely on the golf course and to admire and appreciate the distant views. The lodge is spacious and open plan with a comfortable lounge/diner and well equipped kitchen and a family bathroom. There are 2 large bedrooms, one with ensuite. The beds we found to be very comfortable and we slept restfully. The site was maintained to a good standard and very peaceful if you were looking to have a relaxing stay, which we were. There are plenty of places of interest to visit a short drive away.The clubhouse was approx a 15-minute stroll away. Gary is a great host, friendly, informative, and very responsive to any messages. We would definitely return.

There is nothing to dislike.

Just returned from a fantastic trip to Millies View, first time visiting and will not be the last! Has everything you need, decking overlooking the golf and wildlife was great, sky tv, peaceful location. We’ve been to Percy Wood a few times and this has been our favourite stay, the park isn’t your normal lively holiday site but thats what we like, it’s quiet, theres a bar in walking distance, super dog friendly and is a good base to get out and explore Northumberland. Gary the host was lovely and there if we needed anything. Would recommend and will hopefully be back in the summer!

We didn’t mind but the beds are quite firm, if you don’t like this i would say take a mattress topper (especially if you have kids)

The property was quiet and relaxing. The views were wonderful due to the position at the edge of the golf course. We spotted deer and other wildlife as we did earlier in the year on our first stay. The lodge was spacious with 2 bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped.

There was nothing really that we disliked. We are happy to bring our own supplies as we have particular tastes. We have stayed before so we are very aware of everything that is provided.

Loved everything about the property. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the golf course and within easy walking distance to the nearby pub, park etc. We were lucky to see lots of deer just outside the balcony. The cabin has everything you need and is well equipped. Gary was in contact over the weekend to see how things were going and if we needed anything. A great host. We would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

the cabin was great, very clean and extremely comfortable very spacious, location on site was excellent almost felt remote, with great views overlooking the 14th green, and been able to watch deer from the balcony on an evening was a bonus, location to attractions like Alnwick castle and gardens, Bamburgh castle, and Cragside house in the local area was spot on.

Millie’s view is a lovely lodge, it is so spacious but cosy at the same time. Me and my partner have been a couple of times now and we absolutely love it. We don’t have one bad word to say about it and nothing to complain about. The bed is so comfy, the view is unreal seeing some deer on the golf course. The location is perfect and the host Gary is great! He is very responsive, seems lovely and is very helpful. We would 100% recommend to friends & family.

My stay here with my family for my birthday was brilliant! We hired a golf buggy and explored the site. Seeing many deer on site and also from out decking.Gary offered us advice about where to visit we took him up on his advice and had a beautiful family meal

Millie's view is a wonderful place to stay! It's a very sweet, simple, homely cabin with a beautiful view over the golf course - we even saw some deer! The location is absolutely ideal for visiting Northumberland, and a short drive to Alnwick and other picturesque coastal villages. It was clean and tidy, and we really appreciated having 2 bathrooms. It was very simple but had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. It was also ideal for our dog We had a slight hiccup with heating and the owner sent someone to fix it immediately - the response was very quick and it was sorted in no time! A wonderful place and we will absolutely be returning.

Perfect place to stay for my sister in law and myself, perfect having two bathrooms. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable living area and both bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Amazing view from the veranda and windows. Great location for where we wanted to visit.

Oooh I really can't think of anything- maybe that we hadn't booked for longer!
