The breakfast was extremely good with lots of choice and the service was excellent. The dining room was spacious and well presented. The bedroom was also spacious, comfortable, well furnished, and with lots of attention to detail. The bathroom was clean, tidy and had all the necessary features. The location of the b&b couldn't be better. The town centre, amenities and places of interest were within walking distance. There were spaces to park the car directly outside the b&b on a quiet side street. Audre, Sara and Tom were excellent hosts and were very helpful with lots of local knowledge and a good supply of tourist leaflets. The house had lots of character and was obviously well loved by the owners. The garden was neat and well maintained. The sitting area was convenient, well presented with comfortable furniture and a supply of books were available if required.

The house and room were absolutely gorgeous, extremely clean, with a beautiful, relaxed feeling to the place. The host was so helpful, and positive, helping with locations to visit and recommendations to eat.

It's not about not liking something more that we never appreciated the need to book a table in the restaurants locally, so highly recommend doing this before you visit. Oh! Pillows, I really wish I'd taken my own pillow, as they were far too soft.

Beautiful house and furnishings. Quiet residential road. 2 min walk into town. Comfortable room. Everything you may need during your stay. Audrey is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. Her son Tom cooks the most delicious breakfasts. Great choice. Alnwick is a great base to explore the beautiful coastal path. The bus station is a 5 min walk and offers a great service.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel which was conveniently situated in a quiet area but very close to the town centre.. The owner was very helpful and friendly and her son cooked the most delicious breakfasts. We had a very large, comfortable and well equipped room. We really appreciated all the extra thoughtful touches such as the provision of a fridge which all guests could use to store their own food and drink and complimentary sherry. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations which were spot on.

Audrey is an exceptional host and was absolutely perfect in the way she attended to our requirements. She was very engaging and a joy to speak with. The breakfasts were cooked beautifully and there was plenty to eat and drink. We would have no hesitation in returning to Greycroft and recommending this lovely B & B to anyone else. Greycroft exceeded all my expectations. Audrey is an amazing host, all the extra touches they have make for a really comfortable stay. Nothing is too much trouble. The property is in a great location within walking distance of the town and attractions. Breakfast is fantastic, so much choice and always cooked to perfection. You aremade towel really welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend this guest house. It is the best I have ever stayed in.

Greycroft was a delightful place to stay. From the warm welcome on checking in to our beautiful room, which was immaculately clean and spacious. Part of the charm of Greycroft was Audrey your host who was absolutely lovely and full of local knowledge. Breakfasts were also very yummy and huge!

It truly exceeded our expectation. We were made most welcome from the start. The house was very comfortable and full of high quality furniture and ornaments, and objects of interest, even old family photos. The double room was large, carpetted with adjacent shower and toilet facilities and immaculately clean. Tea and biscuits were provided in the room. The breakfasts were of high quality and very substantial. There was even bottles of complimentary wine for guests to take a glass full if the wished at night. The re was also a nice garden to sit in. We have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

As far as we were concerned there was nothing negative about it.
