Once again we had a great stay and all my comments from my October 2023 still apply. This time we had room 2 which was snug, clean and elegant with the bonus of a small balcony. The bed was comfortable and so wide I nearly lost my Wife!! Once again Sanjeev & Sabita were a delight and made us most welcome. Yet again the breakfasts were well cooked and delicious. I would recommend trying the yoghurt and mixed fruits as a precursor to the cooked breakfast - yummy! The en suite was clean, effective and bright although a little snug. Towels are thick and fluffy. Parking is a bonus for Torquay. WE shall return!.

Parking remains pretty snug and we were a little nervous as we had just got a new car. However Sanjeev was again on hand to guide us into a space.

The breakfast was great you chose cooked items and the you could help yourself to cereals toast fruit juices Yogurt and berries very good value for money. The location was perfect right up from the harbour and town the guest house is spotless the owners Sanj and Sabi are so hard working everything is clean and very well managed rooms cleaned everyday if you want we didn’t think necessary they really look after you to make your stay the best it can be well done to them both

The parking is very tight and down a tight lane but we got a permit for the council car parks and our car was parked in there for the 5 days and we used it to visit round Torbay free parking in council car parks the only thing the car park at the back or the house the council one is accessible by steps so if your not good with mobility it may be hard going

Owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and accomodating family owners. Breakfast was a feast. There was a free parking on-site but a little tricky if you have a large car (Owner helped out with this). The maintenance standard of this medium sized old hotel is very high. Good value for money.

even when I try hard, I cant think of something to complain about. Something which is not the fault of the hotel, is that unfortunately Torquay has become very run-down. 50 years ago the town was the pearl of the English Riviera and now in the middle of the tourist season it is awash with traffic and infrastructure works. Fam. Peppers please pass this message on to your city council!

The hotel was furnished to a high standard with thick carpets and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom, Although small, had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. Very close to the sea front.

Very little but if I had to be picky, a plug socket near the bed would have been useful for charging my phone (and keep it in arms reach), on arrival, I had no option but to park on double yellow lines to check in a there was nowhere nearby to park. It's advertised as a 24hr reception but you can only check in till 8pm, which due to holiday traffic, nearly missed. The free parking spaces were very tight and hard to get into it. I struggled getting out of the car and was nervous all holiday about finding my car damaged when I left.

This is a lovely property built around 1902 so all the rooms are high ceilinged and both light and airy. All were decorated to a high attractive standard. A pleasant restful lounge was also available. Our room and bed were very comfortable so our 3 night stay was most relaxing. Breakfast was excellent with an adequate variety and I would say that the fried eggs were the best cooked I have ever had. The house is located up a hill just a short walk from the town centre with all the usual seaside facilities. Special mention is needed to praise our hosts Sanjeev & Sabita (San & Sabi from Nepal) who were charming, welcoming, friendly and very very helpful - they, in particular, made our stay especially enjoyable. Because of their friendly welcome we shall return.

We were in room 7 where the en suite is tiny and would not suit a substantial person. The parking is challenging but San is exceptionally helpful in guiding you into a spot.

The hotel was ideal for my needs. I was visiting for a fishing trip out of the marina, and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from where I needed to be. I was in an en suite room with a single bed. The room was just big enough with a really comfy bed and a well stocked tea and coffee tray. Outside the room, there was a small fridge containing fresh milk. The hosts were brilliant. Welcoming, kind and always on hand. Couldn't wish for better. The hotel is situated a couple of minutes walk from the town centre where there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

Parking was a premium at the hotel, I managed to get parked and leave the car there. If there was no space, I'm not sure where I'd have parked.

Location was fab, few minutes walk to town and marina. Great Central area. The owners couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome and really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was spotlessly clean and breakfast was exceptional. Parking was a bonus too. Thank you

If I had to find a negative, the room was a little bit short on space, but saying that we had a massive 6ft bed! ( Which is what we had asked for) so nothing really negative at all. Rooms are really nice

The communal fridge with fresh milk which could be used for tea or coffee (although the small UHT containers of milk were available too). Very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast with plenty of variety ( the usual cooked breakfast, cereals, toast). The fresh yogurt with berries and a little sprinkling of muesli was nice too).

Shower could have been a little more powerful, but I understand this isn't always possible. The shower did however look very clean and new.

My husband and I just returned from Hotel Peppers after a 4 night stay. It is the second time we’ve stayed here. The location is good just a short walk to the harbour and town centre. The accommodation is first class. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a lovely shower room. There’s good choice for breakfast and it was always very nice. The owners of the hotel, Sanjeev and his wife Savita are so nice and make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend a visit and we’ll be there again next year

Lovely hosts. Very attentive and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent.Everything was very clean and tidy. Also real milk was in a fridge on the landing, as UHT milk isn't as nice. So thought that was such a good idea.They looked after our luggage after we checked out, so that we could spend extra time in Torquay before we caught the train home. Which I thought was very kind of them.

The only draw back was our en-suite was small, and my husband being 6 foot 1 inch had to sit on the loo slightly at an angle otherwise his legs would knock into the sink. But of course not much can be done about that.
