We stayed there for 2 nights. We booked a cabin(me, my hubby and 2 kids) and a hut (my parents). The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. My kids love the big field in front of our cabin where they can play hide and seek, and football there. My parents love the peaceful environment and nature surrounding around us. Everything is perfect. The price is very reasonable. Definitely 10/10. Highly recommended for family trips.

Nothing we dislike about Orme View lodges. We only have a small disappointment is that we cannot do the BBQ due to the raining weather but it is not Orme View lodges’ fault lol.

We stayed during storm Darragh and the electric went in the middle of the night. The owners worked tirelessly to get it back on for us and must of had very little sleep. We really are so grateful to be in a place we felt so safe and comfortable during this awful storm. Apart from that this place is awesome lovely people beautiful lodge well stocked with everything you could wish for. Good parking and just a stunning location, we will definitely be returning in the near future.

There really wasn’t one negate.

The accomodation was extremely clean and comfortable, and there are a variety available to stay in, from solo traveller to a family size apartment. The owner Juliet sent some brilliant directions the morning we were due to travel, and made us feel very welcome once we arrived. The views from our porch were amazing , we were able to see the mountains every morning when we woke. Juliet was more than happy to give us some great recommendations for things to do (even though the weather was terrible due to storm Isha, we still found plenty to do) and there are alot of walks and spectacular views of waterfalls just a short drive away.

Fantastic views, beautifully landscaped grounds. Very friendly owners. Very clean throughout and nicely appointed for a little shepherd's hut. Comfortable and perfect for a base. A great looking little hut too! Very happy with everything!

Absolutely nothing that the owners have or have not done (cannot stress this enough!) , but road noise was evident at times, but was less of an issue on the Saturday night as opposed to Friday once weekday lorries had stopped work. Being a light sleeper might be something to just bear in mind.

The lodge was a good location near main routes to many interesting places. The lodge is well equip inn general and in the kitchen. The outside space was large for our children and welcoming. The lodge is lovely and warm with the heating on in the evening and heats up very quickly. Hosts were welcoming and helpful.

Although there was everything available at the lodge some areas like the bathroom and decking area are a little worn and with some refreshing would be more welcoming.

It’s such a cozy hut (Puffin). There were all the necessary things for living (for instance, hobs, kettle, toaster, fridge, cutlery, cooking utensils and plates). There are a lot of grocery shops In Bangor (Asda, Lidl, etc.) Also there was a heating radiator so it was warm and cozy. The tap water pressure is excellent. The bed was big and comfortable. Nearby the hut there's a barbecue and relaxation area (hammocks, swings, armchairs). If you don’t have a car that can be reached to Bangor on foot (approx. 50 min) or take the bus, the bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the hut. Buses run on schedule, sometimes they may be late, you should check the information in Google. We easily reached Aber Fall and Snowdon by local buses. There was Wi-Fi in the hut, but we didn't use it, so I can't say exactly how it works. It would be nice if you can rent a bike. I liked the Puffing hut and nature of Wales. I’ll definitely book this hut next time and highly recommend.

I liked everything.

Husband and I needed some time off to unwind and just relax and be with nature. Then I found this online which has everything we wanted. It is strategically located and Juliet is a perfect host. Very quick to reply even when I asked her where I can find some laver bread for our friend who requested this Wales’ delicacy. We had the best sleep and to wake up to wonderful views each morning was a bonus. Highly recommended and I have already informed friends of our next trip and where we will be staying. Lovely location, and the hosts are amazing!! Made us feel very comfortable! The huts are very cute and cozy! Great value for 2 nights! Would definitely consider coming back!

- a small separate lamp would be nice for evening/ bed time as the main lights are very bright - a smaller double bed (1 mattress) would be more comfortable than 2 single mattresses making a large bed These are only suggestions, not necessarily “negatives” as we enjoyed the stay.

The Shepherd Hut was compact, comfortable & ideal for a Solo traveller. The owner Juliet was lovely and I loved every morning watching her take the 4 dogs and 2 Geese & 2 Goslings all together for a morning constitutional!!

I didn't have any complaints, it was a bit tiresome opening & closing the gate each time I drove out, but understood because of the animals. Often if Juliet was around, she would help!!
