lovely room and very comfy and nicely decorated. large bed which was great n we both slept well. lovely restaurant downstairs to have our evening meal. the staff were so polite and friendly and lovely atmosphere. breakfast in our room was a novel idea and the Sandwich for lunch the next day was really tasty. lots of parking too. would definitely recommend and would use again

Had to go along a few narrow very dark roads to get there but worth the trip. had an issue with the bathroom window but understand brand new windows going in 2 to 3 weeks time so will be great. worth a visit here again

The room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the food was amazing, and we loved the breakfast and sandwiches. It was quiet. Very spacious. The shower was huge. Absolutely delightful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And the area was stunning. Great to reach the areas needed. We also had no trouble parking.

The plates in the room still had a bit of jam on, and a stain was on the cover that comes off the bed. It wasn't terrible as we didn't need to use these items, but were aware of it. The shower also didn't change temp very well so it was quite hot, but still usable.

We needed a late check-in and received a text from piotr with the key safe number and very clear instructions. A very hot night, a large fan had been left on in our room, and the windows open, which was very thoughtful. The room was spotless and a good size. Plenty of tea and coffee, fast boil kettle which after a 6 hour drive was appreciated. Small fridge in the room containing milk, 2x fresh orange, 2x water, 2 x sandwiches, jam, marmalade and butter for the croissants. Good choice of cereal. The bed was very comfortable with 2 x good quality pillows. The shower had great power. We will definitely book this again and hopefully stay longer next time, great value for the price

The quilt was very heavy no spare pillows in the room, not a problem for us, but others might find it a problem

This is the second time we have stayed at The Angel Inn and we love this place. Tucked away in a small village and appears to be incredibly popular indeed. Rooms are great, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast set up was perfect for us (hence why we stayed again) - everything you need in the room plus a sandwich for your onward journey!

This was not the fault of the property but it was roasting in our room. There was a portable air conditioner in the room (the windows didn't open very far) but too noisy to use at night - so didn't sleep well. Like I say, this is not the fault of the owners at all.

The room was spacious for two people and the bathroom was quite large. The towels were soft. The mini fridge had complementary orange juice and a small jug of milk for tea and coffee, as well as some water bottles. There was a nice cereal selection, as well as the sandwich offered for the breakfast the next morning. The shower heated up to a good temperature and was consistent. I liked both the large waterfall head and the hose. The fan was also nice to have!

The bed was a double, which was two single beds pushed together. It was kind of awkward to sleep in, as I felt like I might fall through the cracks. There wasn't a way to ensure they stayed together, other than trying to be mindful when sleeping.

Have not explored much from the location, as we arrived late in the evening. Seemed a little spooky , but in the morning when we left at day light, could see the little gem where the inn was located, away from everyday traffic, surounded by nature. Loved the fact that we got complimentary tray with water, juice , tea, coffee, a a little bottle of milk. I love lots of milk in my coffee, and always struggle with those little capsuls what other hotels provide, as that's not enough for me. It made such a difference for us to have some drinks provided, is not much but we did ran out of drinks and was supper to have some in the room. Loved the idea of the little fridge expecially if you stay longer than one night. The bathroom was looking so clean and so beautiful, nice air freshners as well. Overall the room was super cosy and clean. For breakfast we got croissants with gem, butter, or milk and cerelas (few options provided). And tasty sandwiches. For myself and partner was more than sufficient. The location it's not far from Bath if travelling with car, like 25 minutes, and the hospitaand service worth it. Thank you for all staff for making our stay so pleasant. Definitely will be back and would recommend.

Have not come accross anything to be honest.

What a fabulous place! In a lovely quiet spot and above a much loved restaurant, we really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. We knew a cooked breakfast wasn't going to be served in the morning but we had everything we needed in the room (cereal, milk, water, tea & coffee, orange juice in the fridge), plus croissants and sandwiches for our onward trip the next day. It was a lovely touch given I thought I was going to miss having a cooked breakfast (I didn't miss it at all). Dinner in the restaurant was brilliant too and reasonably priced. Looks like it is well loved by the locals too.

Nothing, I would highly recommend. Do take note that you can't check in until 5pm as it is a restaurant. It does say this when booking. This was not a problem for us at all.

This is the second time we have stayed in this accommodation with our grandson while visiting longleat which is just over 10mins drive away. Family room is spacious, comfortable, very clean and warm. The bathroom is large. The staff are all brilliant and very helpful. Having a very good Italian restaurant on-site is a real bonus and we eat there both evenings during our stay. The cold breakfast delivered to the room in the evening is fine. And there is a good choice of cereal, with fridge stocked with fresh milk,, juice, preserves etc. Will definitely stay again.

Only thing is rooms aren’t accessible as they are up steep stair case with additional stairs. However this is an old building and probably difficult to make necessary adjustments for people with disabilities who have additional mobility needs.

A very clean and comfortable room. The bar area has a good selection of drinks and the restaurant food was good. The Continental style breakfast available in our room was plentiful and tasty.

Due to a busy lunchtime, we were not able to park our car in the car park on arrival. So we had to find a space in the road and then move it to the car park later. In truth this was just a minor inconvenience and did not spoil our stay.

Warm welcome, lovely food in the restaurant which is downstairs. Renovated old stagecoach inn, cosy pretty coloured decent size rooms, Laura Ashley style. Modern bathroom, great double shower. Creaky floorboards but thick carpet and it is an old stagecoach so it's part of its charm. The food is local produce, all fresh and was amazing and I love to cook. Continental breakfast, you get to choose a ciabatta roll with a filling, small fridge in the room. Plenty of choice. Lovely croissant with pots of jam. Bed was queen size, medium soft which was good for my bad back, freshly laundered bedding. Check in at 5pm out at 10.30am but staff are lovely and helpful and will accommodate you. Will definitely stay again and eat at the restaurant, loved it. Paid £80 for a Sunday stay ❤️

Could do with bathroom hooks on the back of the bathroom door so you can hook towels or clothes up. Would have changed the layout of the bathroom, so you didn't accidentally walk into the glass shower panel as you walked out of the bathroom. I'm disabled and use crutches, I managed the stairs but if you need a wheelchair it's not good as it's an old stagecoach inn.
