Lovely property. Quiet. The room was very good. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Slept very well. Really clean. Shower was very good. Tea, coffee and milk provided. Ample storage for clothes. Location is great too as only 2 minutes walk to the centre with a variety of shops , bars and restaurants and only a short walk to the lake in Bowness or bus is around 5 mins. Bus stop is at the end of the street. Hosts were fantastic and friendly and texted me all information I needed and I felt very welcome. Easy, simple process for property access.

The location of this property was excellent. You are close to all the shops, bars and restaurants which is always a plus. We even walked to The Wolrd of Beatrix Potter, which only took about 20 mins, so it's not far if you want to take in Lake windermere. The bedroom was a good size with plenty of storage for clothing. There was a mini fridge in our room, which was a huge bonus. The room did get quite warm, but the window was fully functional, and they also provided a small tower fan, which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfy, the tv had all the apps you could want, and the towels were proper bath sheets, thick, soft, and actually fit around the slightly bigger body! The room was very clean, very modern, and just a lovely room to be in. We stayed in the Coniston room.

If you miss the chance to get parked on the street for free, it'll cost you to park the car at the Broad Street carpark. They do mention this, so I was expecting to have to pay, but thankfully, we got lucky. I do believe that in the height of the sunny holiday season, you may find it difficult to find a spot if you don't want to or can't walk far.

The property’s immaculately clean. It’s so cosy too☺️ It is so important for me to have a cosy place specially after a fullday of walking/hiking. I also had a comfortable sleep at night. The location is just perfect. It’s central, accesible to all shops, yet enough distance to be away from the bustle of the town. I tried the free gym and spa, it’s amazing! I really enjoyed my stay.😍 And I must say, I loved the toiletries.😅 i ended up buying one for myself in their shop in town😝 Thank you to the hosts for the lovely experience! Will definitely recommend and book again.

I liked everything! Just a recommendation, a trash bin in the room would be great apart from the one in the bathroom. Not a big deal though.. I’m just fussy I think😅

We booked very last minute due to a change in plans, was not disappointed with our choice. A Lovely cosy place to stay in a central location. Although hosts not on site they are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Reported a small issue and was sorted within the hour whilst we were out for the day, what excellent service! We had on street parking directly outside during our stay (may be due to the time of year - early March). Didn’t get chance to use the free health club due to our itinerary but really sounds like a great added extra. We loved the peaceful location whilst being a very short walk to a number of restaurants and amenities. We’ve stumbled across a gem and will definitely return on our next visit. Thank you Glen Wynn!

I really loved how central the property is to Windermere, as someone who used to live in Windermere i know how busy it can get and so it was brilliant for just being able to nip up into the village! The room i stayed in was really clean and tidy, and i think it has just been freshly painted as i could smell paint (not a bad thing by any means!) It is a beautiful place, and great value for money. Although Glen Wynne doesn’t provide breakfast, there are fridges in the rooms which make it perfect for bringing your own food and eating at your convenience! Such a fab place!

I don’t think there is anything i didn’t like about Glen Wynne, apart from when i arrived i found the key code a little bit difficult to understand, but after calling the owner, it was really simple!

We stayed in the King room for 1 night. Communication leading up to arrival was fantastic, location of premises was perfect and only a short walk from pubs/restaurants. Room was lovely with tea & coffee facilities. Bed was large and very comfortable. Despite the weather being sunny and hot, the rooms windows had been left open so the room was cool - perfect temperature. Immaculately clean rooms. Really nice shower with good water power.

When we arrived in Windermere it was extremely busy! We were lucky to find a car park outside Glen Wynne. It is in a line of terrace cottages a 3 minute walk to the town centre. The instructions given to open the front door and our room were clear and precise. The room was cosy (small!) but comfortable. The provisions in the room were well accepted! Our room was at the front of property which overlooked the treelined street - very picturesque! The location was fantastic, so close to the shops. Windermere is a beautiful town with a variety of shops, cafes and bars. Even though we didn't meet the owners, we were well looked after and knew they weren't far away if we needed any assistance.

Very convenient location both a 5 min from the station but also very close to some really nice walks (queen Adelaide hill, school Knott and Brant fell). The room was small but had everything I needed so will 100% be staying again. Health club was great too. Owners were very responsive, thank you!

Nothing really - only thing to note is the health club is a 30 min walk/a bus away, still worth going to even if you don’t have a car

I loved my stay so much!! Easy 10 minute walk from the train station and great communication with the owners. I stayed in room Windermere at the top of the house. It was more spacious than I expected based on other reviews. Perfect for solo travelers and shorter stays!!

The bathroom was a bit tight. This didn’t matter to me but I know others might be annoyed.

So much instruction on self-check in and great reccos on where to go and what to do. Didn't miss the interaction of having someone on site at all. Rooms were decorated thoughtfully for their space and included everything you need in a hotel room. Location is ideal - cannot be more "in town" than this, but still somehow on a quiet road. Parking also handy and bed was comfy

We liked everything. Rooms are very compact, this suited us, ascwe we're hardly in it, but it's good to know!
