The management and staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. As we were not sure if we would arrive whilst the restaurant was still open, we exchanged messages and the hotel was able to ensure that we would have our meal - and some wine! - on arrival. The restaurant was very pleasant and reasonably priced for dinner. It was a little unusual to have to place our breakfast order in the evening, but that meant we had a breakfast cooked to order and it must minimise wasted food! The breakfast was tasty, and well presented. Our room was warm, comfortable and with a good view over the park. Of particular note, this hotel is very well located for the Wolverhampton parkrun - handy for parkrun "tourists" - and within walking distance of Molineux. It was a pleasure to stay in an individual hotel, rather than the corporate/chain hotels in which we quite often stay.
The exterior of the hotel is not the most appealing. There is no lift, which may be an issue for those with mobility issues. Apart from that, I couldn't fault it!

We've stayed at this hotel previously (on a higher floor) & had a great experience. The breakfast is high end produce & perfectly cooked/prepared. Tasted amazing!
The lovely room was not really big enough to house all the large furniture & the on suite part of the room. A great big bed (which is a must for us!) A desk/dressing table with a chair. An additional comfy chair. A wardrobe. It was made more awkward because I had the fan (on a stand) plugged in. Which had to be in front of the wardrobe to get around the bed to the bathroom. We were also tripping over our suitcase, which we ended up living out of as we were only there for the one night. The hotel has a dog, which unfortunately barked every time it was let out. At 3am I was woken by the barking & just couldn't get back off to sleep for hours. So that was a huge shame.

We arrived very late due to flight delays, but the staff was extremely friendly and accommodated our late arrival. They provided some recommendations of things to do in the area. Breakfast was phenomenal, one of the best we've had (and we travel A LOT). Their system works well to order your breakfast the night before to minimize any waste. They have plenty of parking and are easy to find. There is a wonderful park across the street and are easy walking distance to Molineux as well as the city center. The restaurant is undoubtably one of the best in the area, make sure to get your reservations in.

Breakfast was included in the price and it was necessary to preorder the night before. There was an excellent choice and you could order whatever you wanted - very generous. We had one evening meal in the restaurant - food very acceptable and liked the offer on cocktails! Being opposite the park was great and out upgraded room looked out on to it. It was a good way to get daily exercise with a brisk walk round the perimeter!(1 mile). Most of friends we were visiting lived in tettenhall so location was ideal.
We’ve happy with everything - no complaints!

Everything - from the warm welcome when I arrived late due to train delays to food at the restaurant. Breakfast is plentiful -and fresh. (Highly recommend the omelette). The choice of evening meals was great - and I hadn't realised they would be so good. I had the salmon twice. The staff were really brilliant and extended such kindness that I had not expected. I would plan a trip back to Wolverhampton based on availability here.
Nothing. They have thought of everything and go above and beyond to offer a great stay.

Booked for parents to stay and I ate breakfast with them both mornings as they were visiting. Breakfast order handed in night before. Cooked to order for the time you want in the morning. Really really enjoyed the food fantastic choice of food Ate dinner in the evening as well food fantastic. Great choice. It was quiet at night. Staff very friendly and polite. Owner was lovely. A little gem. Just wish I could afford to pay for my parents to stay there more often
Nothing. It was all great. Maybe potholes in car park could be fixed.

Absolutely superb hotel. Great parking facilities, room and restaurant. Selected this hotel specifically for its location as I was attending a concert in the Civic Halls and wanted somewhere within walking distance. Received with very warm welcome and smooth check in process. I had researched ahead of time that their restaurant was in the top 10 in Wolverhampton and the food @ Hamilton’s did not disappoint. Beer & wine choices were excellent and fairly priced. Location to our venue was 10 minutes away – ideal. Breakfast was the best I have ever had – exceptional – fabulous fresh fruit, wonderful omelette and great coffee. Recommend taking the time to have a walk around the near by West Park too – its great.
Service in the restaurant was a little slow due to being a Saturday night, but we had plenty of time ahead of having to leave it was not an issue. Any follow ups were quickly responded to.

The room was big enough and the bed was a king size like we requested. The staff were very helpful and this is what made our stay very nice. Staff could not do.enough for you.
The breakfast was okay. The options were fantastic but just the taste of the cooked breakfast wasn't to our liking but I had the omelette one morning and this was lovely. The shower in our room worked but couldn't move the settings due to refurbishments taking place which would have been helpful to know before we booked. Television in the room was on the small size but it worked fine.

The hotel building is I would guess Victorian, so rooms have lovely high ceilings and look over West Park which has a boating lake and makes for a pleasant walk before dinner. Money has clearly been spent on refurbishment and everything was very clean. Windows are double glazed and have limited opening for security, however if you're not travelling with children the catch can be flipped to allow full opening and ventilation. All the staff were very nice and helpful. I dined at the Hamilton Restaurant which also serves non-residents and enjoyed dinner and also the breakfast. There's plenty of private parking and the entrance gates are locked at night for added security.
My room was shower only, it was an an electric instant heater type but still gave a decent flow. It was one of those self-contained corner units with half-round doors so not a huge amount of space. Note that the conservatory overlooks a rather mundane car-park to rear of hotel.

We arrived a wee bit later than expected due to traffic delays on the motorways. They had stopped serving lunch about three quarters of an hour or so before, however, the lady asked the chef if we could have food and yes we could order! It was so welcome and the food we had was really lovely, sat in the very nice conservatory. Our room was really nice and well appointed, a wee bit quirky, but good quirky! Very comfortable. The location was fab for the gig we were going to at The Wulfrun Hall, a 10 / 15 minute stroll into town. Also, Hubby does Park Run on a Saturday morning and that was about a two minute walk over to West Park! Lovely park. We were able to enjoy breakfast as it was served up until 10am, we sometimes miss out if the run is further away from where we are staying and they stop serving earlier. The breakfast was ordered the previous day, you got what you ordered and it was all really nice, not anything left! We would recommend A Park Hotel and would stay again if we have a need to be in Wolverhampton.
Just one teeny-tiny niggle, for the size of the place there was no dedicated lounge area, just a sofa and two chairs in the bar area. Not really good if the hotel was busy.
