Plenty of space in the rooms, the hotel had a spacious bar area and we used the gym which had great equipment in and plenty of space

Issue with the ordering of food at the bar, one part of our order was missed between the till and the kitchen so we had waited 20 minutes after the last plate was given and then asked if it was still in process. They had to reissue the order to the kitchen. They didn’t charge us for the missed order & customer service was good but it was 40 minutes after the initial plate was brought out that a member of our party had waited

Staying in a village hotel is always a nice experience, but this time it felt more welcoming than most. I attribute this to the member of staff on front of house on that day, now we have been away and stayed in many places since this visit so may not get the name right, I vaguely remember his name being Kurt, either way it was the night of the England Game, can’t be hard to find out who was on duty. That man needs extra credit, he was a great. One thing to mention, that afternoon we went to the restaurant, 2 what looked to be managers were faffing around trying to get stuff ready for the game, no one was at the restaurant to greet customers, we waited a few minutes and then went elsewhere, you lost £50 to the Beefeater’s around the corner who were ready to take our order. Not going to let that change my review because ‘curt’ was great 👍, but you should know. I get it was about to get busy, but that is dead money for you that you could have had.

Nothing wrong

The hotel staff were amazing, Josh checked us in and was extremely friendly and very helpful as my booking as a little complicated due to a last minute additional room. the hotel itself was very nice, I felt the room did show a little wear but was comfortable and clean, and the bed was nice too being just heh right firmness and having nice big pillows so you could get comfortable quickly. I would consider highly using Village Hotels in the future

One thing I did note, I am neurodiverse and so certain noise levels cause me sensory issues. We used the hotel bar/restaurant for our evening meal. the area had a low ceiling which, as far as I could tell was concrete or at least some form of hard surface. this caused the noise of the other patrons to bounce about making the experience extremely, challenging. It could do with a little sound baffling or something to maybe just pitch that sound down a bit and make it a little less,

Me and my partner only booked for one night but then that became 2 nights then 3 nights 🙈that’s how amazing the hotel was It has a bar cinema downstairs and I can honestly say we enjoyed every second it was just so lively and our room was right above the garden area heard some in the evening it would be people laughing singing falling all over the place And being sick 🤦🏻‍♀️ But overall all me and my sexy partner we absolutely loved that hotel and his promised to take me back It’s like a little break from home And amazing staff too ☺️

I don’t think there was anything that I didn’t like at the hotel Apart from my partner not waking up in the morning 🙄

The staff are superb and make the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble from booking a table to get a good seat to watch the football, to finding my AirPods when I left them in my room when leaving. Big thank you Josh and Ethan and the lady on reception on the morning of 18th April. You're all lifesavers! Also the big shower was superb.

The venue was quite cold overall, especially the bar. I had a word with reception and they asked the bar team to adjust it so no problem. The room was also a little cold. Also no water glass in the room - just small things really.

The staff are lovely, so friendly, so helpfull

My room was so warm! Even using the fan, it was so stuffy! I checked in really late on my first night, so it was really too late to do anything about it, and I was so tired. I was on the first floor, in room 106, so, I don't know if that's why the windows didn't open? But I was on the 3rd floor before, and it was lovely to have the windows open slightly. I could not of changed rooms, and the fan I had was noisy enough, I could not of coped with another fan!

Room was nice and warm and bed was very comfy although my fiancé experienced back problems imin the morning, was quite clean and it’s a very nice hotel overall and also got complimentary breakfasts

We had a few problems with being overcharged for pool facilities but they gave us a complimentary breakfast for it but they seemed to charged us on a day we didn’t use them so still trying to sort that out

I did not have breakfast on this occasion. On arrival was met by very friendly staff. Had some nice chicken wings on arrival. Room lovely and clean as always. Went out for the night and night man was very helpful with a querie when l returned. All in all a great stay and can’t wait to return.

All the idiots who parked in the disabled car park spaces and me with a blue badge had to park far away. Not the fault of the staff and when l checked out this morning was told they are doing something about this problem.

Location is nice and quiet, bar downstairs for food and drinks. Nice place to just go and relax

We paid for late check out for the cleaner to then knock the door at 11.30, we said we have late check out she then asked us if we had paid for it we replied yes for her then to say ok I’ll go check. She was very rude and all this was being shouted through the door for anyone else passing to hear.

We stayed in a family room which was plenty big enough for the four of us )two adults and 2 children under 4). the staff made up the sofa bed and provided us with a travel cot as soon as we requested them. Parking is ample and was free on the weekend we stayed. There’s a swimming pool on site which was great for the kids and the family changing rooms were very handy. The on site restaurant served tasty food and was decent value for money and the menu was child friendly. All the staff we met were really helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Some areas of the hotel could do with a little TLC (carpets) but generally ok.
