The restaurant food was very good. Our meal on the first night was excellent. Breakfast (included in our accommodation cost) was also excellent. My only VERY MINOR niggle was that they wanted to charge extra at breakfast for a speciality tea (Earl Grey). This is literally the case of swapping a teabag, and seemed a bit mean. All of the staff were polite, courteous and attentive - couldn't have been better. Would highly recommend to others and would happily stay there again.
We would have preferred a twin room, but none seemed to be available, even though we were the only guests.

Wishing to extend our stay at the very last minute they managed to shuffle rooms to fit us in. The welcome was warm and friendly and everything ready for us in a lovely room with a great en-suite. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and all had an outstanding meal so there was no question about where we would eat on our second night. All staff were extremely helpful and smiley and nothing was too much trouble. The whole place is run at a very high standard of efficiency but very discreetly. The breakfast selection of freshly cooked food is absolutely delicious and really puts a smile on the grumpiest of morning faces. Don't bother trying to save a pound somewhere else - stay at the A&E, you won't regret it.
Not applicable for us.

Keeps old world charm but within an historic building they have built new state of the art hotel rooms with none of the drafts & dirty corners that cannot be avoided in a centuries old building. Comfortable bed, large en-suite with large overhead shower head - perfect for washing away the dust and grime after walking the wolds or visiting Cadwell Park. Rooms have been well thought out with light switches you can reach without nearly falling out of bed and working USB sockets. Large, airy restaurant with sensibly spaced tables giving you privacy whilst remaining cosy. Limited menu but that is because everything is chef prepared from good local ingredients - steak pie recommended. Located in a charming Wolds village with views of an almshouse it is historically linked to. Beer gardens front and back. With windows open you do get a little pun noise but bar shuts at sensible 2300 after which it is nice & quiet.
Plenty of parking however a popular destination restaurant do carpark can fill with diners - having said that I managed to get a place both nights.

Room was very nice and quiet, pleasantly decorated, and of a good size (we took our dog with us, a greyhound - she had enough space to be comfortable too!). Bed was comfy. The food at the pub itself was very tasty with good portion sizes, and some good ales too!
Only thing that obviously could have been better, was that the toilet roll in the room itself was the standard 'public toilet' large roll on a big plastic dispenser, which detracted from what otherwise felt like a cozy space

Great central location for our planned trip to visit pubs in Lincolnshire used by Bomber Command in WWII Checkin was very efficient and staff friendly Breakfasts were superb
New staff could do with better training. First couple of days were great and no possible complaints. Then new staff and room-make-up was very shallow/inefficient or not at all (until we asked). It would be good to have evening service/meals 7 days a week and they are working towards this. Meal service on Sunday stopped at 5, which was a bit of a bummer... the local Chinese take-out was very close, tasty and the staff at the Adam and Eve let us eat in the lounge.

Well what can I say?! Wow.. this place is a little gem. We had booked out 3 rooms for 6 people and stayed over for a Christmas night with a meal and breakfast in the morning. Firstly the staff are so welcoming and warm. They show you up to the room and give you a large bottle of water. The rooms are amazing. Be sure to choose the room with the bath (it’s a roll top bath) and this room is more spacious and nice for a couple for a special occasion. The rooms are spotless, clean and really comfortable. Nice touches with real coffee, sugar cubes, toiletries in nice little woollen bag and just amazing rooms. The restaurant is outstanding- the quality of food is on another level - the chefs here are definitely passionate about there work. All the food was delicious and just blow us all away. The cheeseboard is a must! See the picture below to see what I mean. Lovely bar area to sit and relax with a real fire. Breakfast the next morning runs on a full menu and lots of options to choose from including salmon to an amazing great quality full English. Nice real coffee too which is always a bonus. Left feeling amazing with the whole experience and will definitely be choosing this venue for our Christmas meal next year. Thank you to all the staff and management at this outstanding venue.

I cannot fault The Adam and Eve from the moment we checked in, until the day we checked out. The Staff were all very happy, accommodating and helpful, both the breakfasts and evening meals we had during our stay were excellent. The Room was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need. there is a bus service from the village that takes you directly into Lincoln, If you would sooner drive, its about 20 minutes. We would not hesitate staying here again and would highly recommend staying at The Adam and Eve.
There is nothing to dislike.

Breakfast choice is limited and if you are watching your blood sugar levels steer clear of the granola. Off the scale! No buffet but freshly cooked to order. Evening menu has a good choice and is cooked to perfection with specials up on the board. It is a true pub and is very popular and lively. However it is well controlled because come closing time it becomes silent, including the large beer garden, so if you are staying in one of the rooms overlooking the garden you can get an uninterrupted nights sleep. Our room, twin bedded, was spotlessly clean with solid walls so other guests are not heard. The large en-suite bathroom was immaculate with over-bath shower. Lincoln city park and and ride, based in the Waitrose car park, is only ten miles away and the bus drops off and picks up next to the cathedral and castle in the city centre.
A dressing table with drawers would have been useful. Having to put items on the floor doesn't do it for us. Likewise in the bathroom a couple of shelves would have been useful.

We stayed for a wedding in the venue 3 minutes down the road. Our room was lovely and immaculate, staff were welcoming and friendly the entirety of our stay. Food here was also very very good and clearly high quality. All reasonably priced. The garden area was large and really well spaced out and clearly had a lot of thought put into it. We have recommended The Adam and Eve to family in the area as a place for guests to stay if they visit.

Great pub with a great breakfast menu, very clean with lovely staff
There is a green light in the ceiling we think to do with fire/smoke alarm which shines quite brightly during the night and with the orientation of the double bed if felt like it shone on my face a bit like being on the set of wicked :) but blimey if this the only negative I can find they're doing brilliant
