Everything was perfect, except for three things. One was the lighting in our room, it was so low that the lights were no use for anything slightly intricate. There were plenty of lamps but they were a joke as they were useless at creating a central light, you're econamising too much! Secondly, the room was not tidied properly by the maid. She removed the rubbish from the bin and left it in the armchair! She also didn't make the bed properly inasmuch that she didn't smooth out the bottom sheet at all, she left it as it was when we left it, really creased! She then didn't even smooth out the duvet either. The pillows were just as we left them too, and also with the still very creased duvet thrown over them. We are very experienced travellers and have never seen a bed 'made' like that one, it would have made any true housekeeper cry! The bath was also much too small and only suitable for a child which was annoying because we had especially asked for a bath. Everything else was perfect.

I loved the location of this hotel, everything was in walking distance with the train station being a 10 minute walk. The view is also unreal! We requested a bath since it is better for my pregnant partner and they took that into consideration and gave us a room with a bath which we are very grateful for. We had a problem with our tap not going hot and the staff came and looked at it and sorted it within 10 minutes which is great! we also noticed a gym in the hotel which was free to use which is lovely.

We stayed on the bottom floor so could hear everything going on upstairs for example it sounded like a child running across the hallway a few times throughout the night. However it wasn’t a big deal, we still had the best time and would 100% visit again!

The location, on the river front, was amazing. The hotel wasn’t far from the centre of Lincoln, and there are loads of eateries very close by if you don’t want to walk anywhere for an evening meal The hotel also has a car park. Our room was well away from the lifts and stairs, and it was very quiet. The walls seemed quite thick, which is a bonus! Breakfast was great. There was plenty of choice for all tastes, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The room was a little tired, and we overlooked a car park rather than the water front, but obviously some people will always have to be at the back of the building! There wasn’t much storage space in the bedroom for clothes, but that was ok for 1 night. The bathroom was modern and perfectly adequate.

I have stayed at this holiday Inn.. in Lincoln before, I like it because the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and they have amazing walk in showers which is important too me as I have a disability .. great food and a very good choice of food is available for breakfast.. the hotel has an easy atmosphere friendly staff and is in a great location.. very central to anything you would want to do in Lincoln city.. it is on the Brayford which is a great location Close to lots of places to eat and a cinema.. this hotel is within a short walk to Lincoln city itself.. also the train station.. the castle and the cathedral.. plus lots of other interesting places.

The Restraunt & breakfast staff were exceptionally brilliant, very accommodating, polite and friendly. The accommodation was very tasteful, clean & enjoyable. We thought they were very dog friendly & most of the staff interacted with our dog although we were excluded from the restraunt, the bar was just as good as it was the same food and service. Town centre location would be great for a night out.

Reception staff could be more cheerful and welcoming although they did complete their job efficiently. Late arrival meant We had to park in ncp at £9.50 overnight but only 300 metres away from hotel.

The hotel is in a wonderful location on the quay, surrounded by great restaurants and bars. It is also only a few minutes walk from the city centre. The hotel itself is modern, clean and far more luxurious than I expected for the very reasonable price. The room was extremely well equipped with everything you could need including a great selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate, biscuits and even complimentary sparkling water, coke and crisps. The towells were plentiful and fluffy and the bedding was nice quality. The bonus of an in room 24 hour ipad ordering service was brilliant. I would love to stay here again as I felt extremely comfortable and safe, even for the couple of nights I was on my own.

The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was the parking. The car park is very small, and I was only able to find a space on 2 of the 4 nights I stayed. There is a public car park just 2 minutes walk away, for about the same price of £10 for 24 hours, so it wasn’t too much of a problem.

The location was good and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff at breakfast were welcoming and efficient and to be commended. The breakfast was good and my husband tells me the cooked breakfast was really good.

It is advertised as with parking but when we arrived there was no space and we had to pay at another car park. At least it was nearby. The staff on reception were surly, both at check in and checkout.. The chair in the room by the desk was broken and uncomfortable, making it impossible to work at the desk, but when I mentioned that on check out, the disinterest was obvious. A pity the rest of the staff don’t take their cue from the breakfast staff.

The computer booking system made errors with our room , we went up and put bags in the room and was just having tea ( good job not undressing ) when a man opened the door with a card , he had been given the same number room . Then on returning that evening late from our event , the room card no longer worked to open . It took 3 attempts up and down the lift to the desk before finally getting in the room at 11pm , also the parking spaces were all full , we paid £10 , and my friend was disabled but forgot her blue badge , in the end we spoke to staff and got permission to use the space , however if I could not then we were basically snookered because there was no spaces !!! These were little things that quickly got sorted but why I have marked down the score .

Locality is superb and picturesque. Staff are super friendly and very kind. Breakfast is brilliant - lots of options. Rooms are very spacious and showers are great quality. We stay here regularly and it’s very good value for money and just perfect for us.

I’d like to be able to reserve car parking as we travel 6 hrs to get there so having the reassurance that our car can be accommodated would be great. The people who smoke should be asked to move from the front door to the smoking bench 50yards away so they’re not something that you have to walk past on your arrival.

The restaurant and bar areas were superb and really nicely laid out, good selection of food and drinks and places to work if needed. Quality of food and drinks was good too. Location of the hotel is great and even though parking was closed there is a multi storey yards away. The outlook from the hotel is really nice and the corridors and rooms are nice and clean, well lit and airy. A good base for visiting all aspects of Lincoln.

Reception staff seemed uninterested, people left standing at reception too long and having to shout "hello" to get any attention. Maybe there should be a bell on reception or a camera so they can see if someone is standing there, so they can finish whatever they are doing and serve. Some interaction would be nice, bearing in mind its actually a lovely hotel.
