I was in Bangor for racing and when I selected where to stay I thought the Farm was close to the course, and as I haven’t stayed in a farm I wanted to try it! I arrived so late I had to go straight to the course, I contacted Paul to let him know I would be arriving late, not a problem, he also went out of his way and sent me a list of taxi numbers! He greeted me well after 10 with a torch as it was pitch black, but just off a main road, nothing was too much trouble for Paul, at breakfast I was greeted by Nicola by my name, which doesn’t happen unless it’s a high end hotel, the breakfast was fabulous! The room & bathroom were very comfortable and extremely comfortable with a country feel to it, Paul & Nicola were just so friendly and and attentive, My cab was delayed and Nicola came out to make sure I was OK and even offered me more tea why I waited! If I am visiting Bangor racecourse I will most definitely go back there! My stay could not had been better, so thank you Paul & Nicola for a wonderful stay.

What’s not to like, it was fabulous.

Hollies Farm B&B was a lovely place to stay. We had a beautiful room (Countess) which was well furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay - including a kitchen area with fridge and coffee maker. It was spotlessly clean and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, cooked by Paul in his outdoor kitchen. Paul and Nicola were very welcoming and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. There are some very good pubs and restaurants in the area for evening meals. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Location was lovely. The Owners had a fact sheet ready to share with local restaurants. This was appreciated when you arrive at a new location. The accommodation was upgraded to suit our needs due to a cancellation which was a nice touch. The Breakfast was freshly cooked and the service excellent. Nicola is a asset yo her business and is friendly and accommodating. (Even when I left a dress behind!)

I would have liked to have a fridge in the kitchen area. ( Although we were only there for 1 night it was extremely hot) There was also no crockery or cutlery in the kitchen. Not sure why?

Breakfasts were hearty, with quality ingredients. Location on a working farm enhanced the rural solitude of the stay, but there was still access to connector roads & dining & other necessities.

Addition of fly screens to Countess Suite bedroom windows would allow opening windows to offer summer months' heat relief.

This place was amazing, won't hesitate to visit again. The hosts were polite and always available if need be. Secure parking inside the gated driveway and a beautiful drive up to the little cottage were I slept the night. The room was immaculate(almost brand new it seem) and had the feel of a cozy country cottage house with huge bed, large shower and bathroom and kitchenette with a few snacks and tea available. All this with views to the vege garden and border collie. The breakfast in the morning spot on including cereal, full english breakfast and a large pot a tea.

I have to mention the shower did not have hot water in the cottage but within a moment of speaking to the hosts they directed me to another which was in the house guest room, still just as good and fixed the issue for the morning. Also a small fridge would be handy in the cottage guest house just to keep anything cold, wasn't an issue for me. Maybe I bypast it but couldn't find one.

We loved our stay at Hollies Farm B & B. Great communication from the owners who were able to accommodate our request for an early check in due to attending a wedding. We recieved a warm, friendly welcome. The farmhouse is gorgeous and the views of the countryside are very pretty. Probably the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in! And breakfast was delicious and good portions. We highly recommend the B & B and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Nothing - it was great 🤩

A beatiful cottage style room & a lovely host/hostess to welcome us. Breakfast was fantastic, including lovely locally baked bread & home made marmalade! The dining room we had breakfast in was gorgeous. I cant fault anything really & would definitely go back. The pillows were a bit too soft for me but other than that, the bed was super roomy & comfy! Bathroom was very clean and had a double sized shower which was great. All very tastefully decorated.

The accommodation is beautifully done.. fantastic decor, enormously pleasing place to be, wonderful comfy bed and in a lovely quiet location on Nicola and Paul’s farm. They are delightful hosts Breakfast, is exceptionally good and we had a very happy couple of nights there. We’ll be back !

Absolutely nothing !

House full of character, room absolutely spotless, very well appointed, exceedingly comfortable. Whilst a little more expensive than most B&B rooms it was certainly worth it. Host was super friendly and helpful, breakfast great and lots of places to eat within a radius of about 3-8 miles

There was nothing to dislike!

Excellent breakfast; delightful owners who were very interesting to talk to and very attentive to our needs; superbly well-equipped accommodation with little kitchenette. (A small fridge would have made it perfect!) Comfortable bed

Enclosed view from back window onto barn interior; location along dull, busy road, though it was well set back, and had a nice garden; a bit pricey, though things do seem to have gone up a lot recently.
